It's all about interest Jeff. Most are probably interested in TikTok videos than this! In any case, we must share this video to everyone as we can! Cheers!
This should definitely be compulsory for all schools, luckily my school did teach us this, but I'm still watching the video to refresh my memory and know any changes
Almost 5 months back I had undergone First Aid training conducted by the Red Cross Society and this 1 hour video serves as the Perfect refresher training. Really appreciate the good work. Thanks !!
I agree. I done a compulsory first aid course as I do security. This taught video taught more. I'd rather the money goes to the red cross/Saint John's services instead of companies just trying to make money while keeping pass rates higher. I may need to use these skills one day but at this moment i wouldnt incase i cause more harm.
Had a horrible experience a few days ago were my father was having a seizure in his sleep and not breathing. I called the emergency services right away and they told me about tilting the head back. Within a second he began to breathe again. After this traumatic event I booked my first aid course. Thanks for making this video and showing the world how to save lives
I have sleep apnea and asthma, and since knowing that tilting the head back helps open the airway, I began sleeping with my head tilted back a bit and I wake up less tired now.
My parents are getting older and they started having health problems so i'm trying to learn as much as i can because i don't want to be unhelpful if something happens to anyone
Same bro, I've been wanting to learn for a while now, but yesterday I was in a situation where my stepdad was choking on his food and I didn't really know what to do besides hit him in the back, he's good now, thankfully, but idk if I helped in any way or if he was just able to cough out the food on his own, but ye I gotta learn now more than ever.
I'm already first aid trained. But in my opinion it's never too early to have a refresher, and you can't have to many. Thank you for this video and thank you for making this so public. Just an hours video but you have potentially equipped over 18.5 thousand people with the knowledge to save lives.
Next month it'll be 7 years. Since my husband passed in our home .I was unable to help him.He wasn't breathing and I dont know CPR Now I want to learn all I can so it will never happen again. Thanks for making that possible You Rock 👍🏽
Really good idea to have a pocket sized first aid kit. I usually keep a few first aid supplies in my wallet.. Your kit contains more supplies. Great video my friend.
This is so important! Thank you for making this video and making it available online for free. I also love how you divided the video into chapters; anyone can hover on the clip and see what part of a video is where. Again, thank you so much!
This is very useful because Im actually trying out for our schools first aiding and all the other videos are just meant for certain injuries while this one has everything. Im so greatful I found this.
Thank you so much for the positive comment Sofia. If you would like to get a certified qualification in Emergency First Aid at Work you can enrol onto one of our courses: www.get-licensed.co.uk/emergency-first-aid-at-work
I have searched extensively on the internet for online First Aid videos - and this is by far the best and most comprehensive I could find. Thank you for the excellent video!
I found this teaching highly useful, recommend it from basic classes and should be made compulsory. How I wish the education ministry of my country is alive to their responsibility and make this part of the curriculum.
I've already watched this as part of my Door Supervisor course for the SIA. I'm now showing this video to all my family and friends, this is a great video!
By far, one of the most useful videos on UA-cam!⭐ Thank you so much for this, ma'am. 🤍🙂 P.S. I'm forwarding this to all my friends. Everyone needs to see this video. 😁🤸🏾♀️
I hope I never get to use this class, I'm always the one scared of seeing people do dangerous things, watching hurt people, but I'd rather learn this and be able to do something else but watch. Thanks for the class, incredibly informative
I’m watching this as a 13-year-old. I’m watching this because my mom took me to an organization that helps you learn first aid but I said no cause I wasn't interested. she was sad so I'm learning it 😃
Came here after the Christian Eriksen incident during the EURO 2021 football match, cause I realized that if something like that happened to someone around me, I would have absolutely no idea what to do. Thanks for this, very helpful!
Very informative video. A guy had a seizure the other day in the men's bathroom, and I didn't know what to do. They called an ambulance, but I feel better prepared after watching this. Thank you.
I'm in 11th grade and during my break, I'm learning basic first aid and medication because my mom has diabetes and heart issues. I believe these skills should be mandatory in schools, but unfortunately, they're not included in the curriculum.
We were taught this in the military. Not much has change, although our instructor was was called Dr death, she was a sergeant Major, and you wouldn't want to joke or cross her. Thanks for the great video, they she teach this in schools, stay safe .
Thank You for The Contribution and sharing this informative education for Public Awareness Great Video Presentation with Comprehensive First Aid Knowledge and allow skills enhancement.
Brilliant video, as a First Aid trainer, I found this to be most informative. All the PPE requirement is most. I use all the same acronyms. I always give the crowd that comes along jobs to do., such as calling for help than providing privacy to the patient. I have found this to be most beneficial to be out of your way. With the CPR section, the newer method is just chest compressions only. As you get tired ask if any people are willing to do a round of compressions, also get person to open AED for me, saves time and allowed you to stay on compressions. We generally ask for help to be called and the AED to be brought asap. Also I explain the need for CPR to be done on a hard surface, is casultyis in a bed they need to be removed to the floor. Also the need to stay back when AED is analysing casualty as it will pick up your rates. With compressions for a baby, we never use the index finger as it's too strong, use the middle &ring finger.
Awesome lecture, just watched in one go very useful and informative, i like the way of demonstration, you are a very good first aid trainer.....kudos....
Excellent video, thank you. Contrary to alot of the comments I see here, I was indeed taught this(ABC) in school in Fife, Scotland in the 80's. All the best to you's 😊👍🏻
Thank you for taking the time to create this video. Its been a few years since I did a 1st aid course and there are things that I had forgotten. This is now in my calendar to repeat every December. Thanks.
I was searching for an Australian CPR and I came across this video. It was very much like the Australian version, and I am so thankful for this educational demonstration. This life-to-death situation teaches me a lot. A big thumbs up to Michelle for this awesome step-by-step explanation. She makes it so enjoyable and easy to learn, thank you. Greetings from Cambodia.
Very useful. I just had my training (officially) it same as I learned in my training but I still need as a renewal and it is very useful. Thanks a lot 👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏
As an ICRC first aid trainer, I really enjoyed the videos, each topic was amazing fantastic, when I get in the class tomorrow, I will share my almost ten years first aid experience with the participants.
Very informative training video. Excellent presentation. Thank you Michelle. 🙂 In the next update, could you please include more about cleansing of wounds and use of various dressings and also removal of foreign objects in the eye.
Thank you for your positive feedback, Deepak! Happy to hear that you enjoyed the video. :) We can definitely look into including this next time for you.
The first thing I would show is how to build your kit. A lot of courses you see it in the end. So good start! When you have the things then you can practise a lot.
I do security and haven’t been first aid trained. However, I watched this video to help me if someone needs first aid. As the registered first aider might not be there at all times. And I think doing something is better than doing nothing
Hi there, that's great that you found this helpful! It is now a requirement for security professionals to be first aid trained, so when you renew your licence you will need to be first aid qualified.
I really enjoyed this, and found it useful. I wish there were more tonthis though. This was super beneficial and if this instructor could teach us another course related to this subject that would be very appreciated. Very impressive demonstration. I remember much of this vital lifesaving training from school. I also remember (unfortunately) NOT being comprehensively tested as prerequisite to GPA finalisation/graduation. Basics as these should be taught in all grade school educational programs,,,. Again (or refresher) followed by a bit more rigorous 'workplace-related' curriculum and testing assessment in Junior High. Of course people, the times, technology and other factors are all subject to change even rapidly,,,. With that said, education mandates must be implemented and enforced accross the board which will also include High school senior-class re-address w/buffer-extension course for elderly-citizen lifesaving procedures. Additionally, HS graduation will hinge upon a (zero-tolerance) perfect score in this 'Lifesaving 101' arena. Thank you Miss. M. for this excellent production. God bless you all!*****

Hey Michelle, not sure if the UK is different but we roll our casualty’s away from us not towards. It places less strain on your back and you’re in less danger if the casualty suddenly gains consciousness as you’re currently positioning yourself within a strike zone. Keep up the good work
This along with money management should be compulsory lessons in school.
We agree💪🙌
I'm studying this is school soon so I thought why not learn the basics

Along with the basics of planting & growing food IMO.

I can’t believe my school never taught me any of this. If I hadn’t had an interest myself I would have never known how to save lives.
It should definitely be taught at schools!
I need you to taught more . Thanks you for the video

First Aid being taught in schools is a great idea👏
Agree
My school showed us this exact video
why are people disliking this video? this is valuable information to save a persons LIFE and 31 people dislike the video?
Thank you, we believe its a very important video too!
For me its the dislike of the voice and information about the presenter not the actual content.
This is super important, i think everyone should know basic first aid and this was incredibly useful!
