- Today we look at the Worst F1 Track in history which would take place at Caesars Palace for the 1981 & 82 Las Vegas GP. This can be seen with how the Track Layout was Developed and It's very plain and flat surface with no elevation what so ever. F1 in Vegas wasn't really a
big thing in the 80's and showed a lack of Interest in the events with poor crowds which led to Financial Difficulties. F1 would eventually cut ties with Vegas and wouldn't return until 41 Years later in 2023 were the event on the New Las Vegas strip has been hyped up a lot. Enjoy!

I’m all for the US having multiple f1 races (because the country is so massive and our fanbase is growing exponentially) but I think that we should have purpose built tracks instead of street circuit. Because COTA has such a great design but then you have Miami and Vegas.
Miami could be such an awesome Track if you have the Clusterfuck T11-T14 removed

I actually like Vegas as a track.
It looks like an oversized go-kart track…which I mean if you think about it, a Formula 1 is, in essence, a go-kart on super steroids mixed with MCU-like superpower-granting radiation so it kinda fits.
This was apparently the most difficult circuit to learn, as there are no reference points for where to brake at any of the corners and you couldn't see over the walls so not even a building or tree marker to use.
It was in a car park!! Even if you could see over the walls there wouldn't have been much useful landmarks to see.
As a Las Vegas native I can agree and say the Caesar’s Palace GP was crap but I am looking forward to this GP
Looks like the Motorsports Land mini circuit in GT2. That said, do this circuit again with the 1982 F1 car.

They had a fricking parking lot to design anything and went like "yeah let's do like a straight then a kinda fast left hander, than a mid sector that's essentially the same complex of corners repeated three times and only changing their direction, yea yeah that's a great idea" how did anyone at that time think this track design was decent enough to be put in the calendar is just baffling

This new track in Vegas is over hyped in my opinion
Anything that involves US is over hyped, every weekend they saturate all, you can see in the driver's face!
I'm not 100% with it atm ngl but i say we see how the race goes then we can give our take on it. But looking at the track currently, It's gonna be a massive drs train most likely

No sharp braking zones ...high speed corners..must be very harsh on tyres..less overtaking points in the race...!

The circuit looks like a cursed version of Peloponnese and the pitlane road look really bad -400/10. But now we have pig 6/10
