Demo drive? Wow! This experience is 100x better than my actual delivery experience yesterday: Line up, tell agent at desk I'm here for this (show phone, a few clicks on the phone), ok now go find your truck! ZERO agent interaction afterwards. Considering the premier nature of Cybertruck, pathetic! Yet, being a Tesla owner I know what to look for (gaps, loose parts etc.), my Cybertruck is solid, zero issues (impressed). It's so impressive but if my Tesla SC would have put effort into delivery I would have been over the moon in terms of experience. That was disappointing, Tesla are incredible in so many ways yet fail at the most basic things: CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE/SUPPORT!
@@muriloninjaFirst of all, congratulations on your new Cybertruck! That's awesome! This demo drive was definitely unique, starting from the invite itself. It looks like Tesla is changing things up in their service approach, and hopefully, this can positively impact the delivery process as well. While demo drives aim to sell you on Tesla, the delivery experience is where Tesla can still improve compared to more established car companies. However, the Tesla community support is truly unmatched! Just look at us here, discussing it! Thank you for watching, commenting & supporting the channel!
Yep, steer by wire and four wheel turning is a mindfuck! I took delivery, my Cybertruck was in the lot across from the SC. Walked over, handled business (Phone, Bluetooth, Settings), then went to drive to the SC lot where my Model S was sitting to transfer things to the Cybertruck and IMMEDIATELY the steer by wire and four wheel turning was "This isn't normal! This truck is big, what is this? Whoa, this is a trip!" hahaha! My second day with it, went for a drive for lunch and again, went to back into a parking spot, glanced in the mirror and saw the back tire turning = mindfuck! It was so odd to see...I did a U-Turn, man this is NOT normal! The turn radius is as good as my Model S (wtf?). It's going to be a couple more days before everything becomes normal! Incredible vehicle! Wow! One has to experience it to understand it 100%!
@@muriloninja I totally get what you're saying, the steer-by-wire and four-wheel turning blew my mind too. It’s crazy to think that the steering isn't even connected to the wheels! I was able to adjust after just a couple of turns, but it’s still wild to experience. I'm also really curious about how this will work with Full Self-Driving (FSD). On other Teslas, you can intervene anytime, but with steer-by-wire, I wonder what happens if someone hacks the software. It’s definitely something to keep an eye on. Thanks for sharing your experience - this is one incredible vehicle!
4:03 I received a invitation in Peabody Mass . But when I signed up Tesla said it was fully booked 😞 I guess Tesla expects me to buy an 89000 car without a test drive , brilliant strategy. They offered 4 days of test drive 😡 another 6 months I will have been waiting on my order and deposit for 5 years.
@@conantdog I hear you, so what happen at the demo, they allow me to go back in line so I can either test drive again or I could utilize that time to record inside and outside the truck. You can take that chance and still go if it’s not too far and maybe make plans near by if anything…most likely they will make you demo if your there.
I also received the demo email for Manhasset. I already know I'm waiting for the dry cathode and no foundation series next year. Those time slots were taken rather quickly.
Yeah, same here. I would love the black stainless steel but I don’t know how it would be with scratches? If I were you, I would still go there and show them the email and they’ll have you just wait in line and you’ll go!
@traveltechdesign - Some of my referrals had delivery at Manhasset, so I was familiar with the visuals. I will try showing my email in late September for a demo drive.
@@SlickEdge Yes! It was the AWD Foundation series and they will only sell the CYBERBEAST & ALL-WHEEL DRIVE Foundation series until the until the end of 2024.
Thank you for sharing the Demo Drive that I was going to go to, but I was too busy for such a far drive. Did you hear that they are going to add a 6th seat, which is what I really wanted too. Any word when that would be?
@@bendungee1669 thank you for watching! Nothing official, but as you heard the Tesla advisor they may do what they did with the model X. I’m sure they will not announce yet because it will hurt the sales of the current model.

An actual digital rear view mirror would be awesome on this truck. Great presentation. Thank you.
Good idea! I could see Tesla adding that to their newer models. Thank you, I'm glad you like it! thank you for watching!
Great Presentation! 🤩 What a Vehicle!

Is this thing the Foundation Series variant, or have the normal ones started to launch/demo?
