Youv never seen Andy Griffith show? Well, you might like it, because you like old comic books, its about a small town Sherriff and his bumbling duputy barney , who was a big star in comedic movies when i was a kid in the 70s, anyway, its actually a good show, but very old fashioned
good idea comicman for doing something different!....grew up with the george reeves superman series so early on he was "my" superman....you do a good job critquing the pros & cons.....to be honest the plots from the 50s TV series reruns do no stick in my mind as much as the 60's comic stories....you might want to see the more recent film in which Batman actor Ben affleck portrays actor GR during his time on the TV series (or even review the film?)....some time ago i got on loan the old 50s show on DVD & watched a commentary it had & it told about an "edgey" Supes episode in which some gangsters find out Supes secret identity & he finds them & puts the on a mountain in a shack so they won't reveal it to the world but they ultimately end up trying to escape & fall to their deaths! YEOH!....also the supes fans should go to cleveland ohio & see the home of the creators of supes & also visit "metropolis" illinois to see some stuff there although the town is more like smallville that the comic's town Metropolis! plus the town has some kind of superman festival every year & you can watch some of them on youtube!....also u might want to research the 50's New York City Broadway play "Superman" & do a report on that.
