I've been using this to work my way through Matthew - and what I like about it is the fact that the reading is so brisk, that one MUST follow the Latin. There is no time to ask "what does this word mean in English"? -- you simply need to start thinking and processing in Latin. It's wonderful! Thank you!

Qual e' a lingua da pessoa que le? (Lente na lingua patria). Portugues brasileiro. Ele le muito bem. Comparando com a maneira que eu leio, so' tem duas diferencas. (1) Eu nunca digo e* nem o^ , sempre pronuncio e' e o'. Por exemplo: Pecunia, eu pronuncio “pécunia” em vez de “pêcunia” (sempre com a tonica no “u”). Isso ajuda para quando você aprende grego. (2) Eu pronuncio a aspiracao do "h". Por exemplo, eu pronuncio "hodie" diferente de "odie" eu coloco uma aspiracao media antes do "o". Como o som do "j" em espanhol, mas um pouco menos forte. Fora essas duas diferenca, a pronuncia minha e' igualzinho `a dele. Contente de ter encontrado estes videos.
I enjoyed listening to an Ecclesiastical rendering, as I'm accustomed to listening to classical restored pronunciation "CRP." Ecclesiastical pronunciation has a nice sound, but can be more difficult to understand if you are accustomed to CRP.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Ecclesiastical pronunciation can indeed offer some difficulties to those who are used to the classical one (and vice-versa), but with some practice one can get used to both of them. I intend to start publishing some content using the classical pronunciation as well very soon. I've already recorded the book De Amicitia, by Cicero (I've already published it with the ecclesiastical pronunciation in this channel), but still have to edit the audio, remove noises etc.
