  • Today we're installing a second graph at the bow of my Nitro Z18 - specifically a Garmin 93sv that I'll be using for LiveScope Plus. I'll be uploading a video of that install coming up soon once the LiveScope Plus is released!

I’m building my Jon boat into a bass boat and all of the videos help so much. Thank you for restoring the Jon boat because I want to make mine just like it

Interesting use of the fish tape. Typically you run the tape to the area you want. Then attach the wires and pull them back through with the tape.
I never seen anyone attach the wires to the tape and push it to the location.

Well hey we are doing the best we can over here, haha. I never claimed to be an electrician, but that is good advice that I eventually learned. Pulling the wire does tend to be easier

    Well done
I found the same issue with the Solder Type Connectors
    May as well toss them
    Tested a few times
    All loose terrible connection

I’ve used those solder connections in the past and haven’t experienced any problems. Maybe it’s because I used a different brand not sure. Maybe try using the heat gun on its lowest setting gently heating it? That usually works for me. Nonetheless, great video!

Well I’ll definitely give them another shot on a future project. They seem like a good idea so I was sad when they didn’t work… haha. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the video! I have the exact same boat! 2021 voodoo blue too haha! Just got the Lvs34 myself and was searching for a mount that would work.

What size bolts did you use for mounting the bracket and which bolts did you use for attaching your mounts to HOE bracket?

How’s the install holding up? I’m wanting to do the same thing on my triton, which has a bow panel as well. But I’m unsure if the plastic panel can hold all that weight.

So far its held up really well - after every few trips out, I test both the screws in the bow panel as well as the bolts on the mount, and everything has remained tight. As long as your bow panel has some thickness to it - maybe more than 1/4 inch thick - I say go for it!

Where did you pickup the 8 gauge wire from?

Which mount did you go with?

I used the Hennessey Outdoor Electronics dual mount. I’ve been very happy with it - super strong and very flexible for different graph sizes
