I am a software developer and the LG DualUp has been amazing! I have it as my main display with a wide landscape monitor in portrait on the right and another wide 4K monitor in landscape on the left. Pretty good work setup for my needs!

As I have three monitors forming an “arch”, the LG DualUp monitor in the middle (which isn’t that wide) is about an arms length away from my eyes, our else the landscape 32” monitor on the left would be too close and the desk would feel to cramped. It is perfectly readable, even with macOS resolution/space setting set for everything to be as small as possible. I have very good eyesight.
I got the lg dualup 28MQ780 in April. I was very happy with the overal use etc. But yesterday i wanted to move it closer to me and something broke inside and i got a black screen. I called lg support and explained it and got an answer that shocked me. Its not covered by the warranty, and fixing the problem might cost more than buying a new one. I'm happy this happend because we were thinking on getting these monitors for our entire team @ the office. Dodged a bullet there :-).
disappointing from LG - I thought they'd be better with computer monitor (TVs you can kinda understand saying no as they've no idea how responsible or not you are as a customer)
I use LG DualUp monitor and I want to warn about a few problems. This monitor doesn't support rotation of PBP mode. Fonts rendering in landscape mode looks worse
I suppose if I had no other choices, I'd choose the LG Dual Up. The one monitor that's now on the horizon and has my undivided attention is pending release: the Samsung ViewFinity S9. I can't wait to see how well it does and how quickly the price comes down. ViewFinity S9 is 5K, 27 inches, high-quality and capable of pivoting 90º for use in either Landscape or Portrait viewing orientations. It will also feature a high-quality webcam.

OK, I finally made a decision and I just purchased the White LG smart Monitor 32SQ780S with ergo stand. “Because, why not” 😊 I will be using this monitor as an extension to my IPad Pro M4 for work/personal use. I'm really liking the Libero Monitor. I like the built-in speakers because it's less clutter on the desktop. I like the webcam for those times when I have Zoom meeting. The size is more than enough for my use case. I am currently in the market for a monitor that will work with my 2021 14-inch MacBook Pro, so the USB-C connection is a must. I'm wondering how this monitor compares with LG Ultrafine 4K 27-inch monitor, which I have also been considering. I also like the white color as I find the black monitors rather uninspiring. My use case is that I will be digitizing 1,000s of photos into the cloud: everything from black and white to color and all kinds of negatives from 35mm slides to 110 size. So, I am using a dedicated Epson scanner for that and I will experiment with enhancing the color and black and white photos. What do you think?
Tbh this isnt a productivity monitor guide. Im kinda dissappointed by that. The first monitor does seem really interesting but the rest less so. I do understand that this a sponsored video but with that title it just isnt what i expected.
They are similar in panel technology and specs. The biggest difference one can notice between the two is the package that they arrive in. One has a fixed stand, and the other is with an Ergo arm. One has better speakers, and at the same time, both have different operating systems.
It depends what you’re using it for and which type of ecosystem you’re in. LG has great apple integration whereas Samsung is android focused. Outside of that I personally prefer LG’s smart tv setup, but that Samsung is a great panel regardless.
The real "unicorn" monitor is LG UltraWide 40WP95C-W, which is perfect for productivity, video cutting and so on. I cannot understand, why bloggers just ignoring them.
Reminds me of those car reviews: tells you everything about the car except what's required - ie car cost of ownership, number of recalls, or in the this case samples of office work 😂
don't love seeing a fully sponsored video like this from E tbh. All of these monitors have sub-optimal brightness and lack contrast due to the anti reflective coating. Love hearing actual critique and alternatives, but with a sponsored video, we don't really get that

I watched all three of your productivity monitor videos and the most unbiased was the 2021 with comparison of all brands and worst one is this 2023 as it seems all you're doing is selling LG products. Now for my (non-rant) questions 😊 1. Which monitor would you recommend for the office work i.e lots of text reading/document reading please. I know this is a product showcase and not a review , but your review is terrible . No brightness ? No contrast ratio ? No color gamut / calibration test ? Not even a backlight bleed test ? You just lazily read off the spec sheet of the monitor on the website . Why is it that office / professional targeted monitors get skimpy ad reads passed off as reviews ?

Or at least compare with the other screens to test picture quality and QC issues . Your showcase video is just reading specs straight from the webpage but without actually testing it . It's like every non-gamer-targeted hardware review ever which is just elaborated ads . Meanwhile , inferior gaming products actually get tested regularly with proper tools like calibrators . I wish there are reviewers who review productivity hardware and ACTUALLY testing them before validating specs .

I'm a new viewer and am looking to build a home office for my executive wife. She has the ability to work from home and lately has been. I want to give her a dual monitor setup using the DualUp monitor via her HP or Dell laptops (singular computer not dual machines). Would the monitor work as a dual monitor running it through a T4? She runs multiple spreadsheets at a time or other similar office content. Not a big need for vertical content but this setup would give her a bezel free vertical dual monitor setup. My other plan would but to purchase two 27" monitors and mount them vertically for minimal head movement and neck strain. @ThisIsE

The LG TV/Monitor lost me at VA panel and 80-90% DCI-P3 coverage. that's too low. But I do love the Dual Up.
I use the DualUp daily. The top part streams adult movies and the lower part is used for gaming
DualUp is interesting concept but expensive
I could get regular 16:9 32 inch 4K for about 400$ (without stand of course)

This monitor is on sale for $200 off right now. Its a really nice monitor, but for your use case, I would go with the 4K LG Ultrafine.

That’s because the M2 Air only supports 1 monitor output (I have an Air too, I feel you). Only the Pros support 2.
