I am a software developer and the LG DualUp has been amazing! I have it as my main display with a wide landscape monitor in portrait on the right and another wide 4K monitor in landscape on the left. Pretty good work setup for my needs!

Good question! As I have three monitors forming an “arch”, the LG DualUp monitor in the middle (which isn’t that wide) is about an arms length away from my eyes, our else the landscape 32” monitor on the left would be too close and the desk would feel to cramped. It is perfectly readable, even with macOS resolution/space setting set for everything to be as small as possible.
      I have very good eyesight.

I got the lg dualup 28MQ780 in April. I was very happy with the overal use etc. But yesterday i wanted to move it closer to me and something broke inside and i got a black screen. I called lg support and explained it and got an answer that shocked me. Its not covered by the warranty, and fixing the problem might cost more than buying a new one. I'm happy this happend because we were thinking on getting these monitors for our entire team @ the office.

I suppose if I had no other choices, I'd choose the LG Dual Up. The one monitor that's now on the horizon and has my undivided attention is pending release: the Samsung ViewFinity S9. I can't wait to see how well it does and how quickly the price comes down. ViewFinity S9 is 5K, 27 inches, high-quality and capable of pivoting 90º for use in either Landscape or Portrait viewing orientations. It will also feature a high-quality webcam.

I'm really liking the Libero Monitor. I like the built-in speakers because it's less clutter on the desktop. I like the webcam for those times when I have Zoom meeting.
The size is more than enough for my use case. I am currently in the market for a monitor that will work with my 2021 14-inch MacBook Pro, so the USB-C connection is a must. I'm wondering how this monitor compares with LG Ultrafine 4K 27-inch monitor, which I have also been considering. I also like the white color as I find the black monitors rather uninspiring.
My use case is that I will be digitizing 1,000s of photos into the cloud: everything from black and white to color and all kinds of negatives from 35mm slides to 110 size. So, I am using a dedicated Epson scanner for that and I will experiment with enhancing the color and black and white photos. What do you think?

Your showcase video is just reading specs straight from the webpage but without actually testing it .
It's like every non-gamer-targeted hardware review ever which is just elaborated ads . Meanwhile , inferior gaming products actually get tested regularly with proper tools like calibrators .

I want to give her a dual monitor setup using the DualUp monitor via her HP or Dell laptops (singular computer not dual machines). Would the monitor work as a dual monitor running it through a T4? She runs multiple spreadsheets at a time or other similar office content. Not a big need for vertical content but this setup would give her a bezel free vertical dual monitor setup.
