Beth has been my ALL TIME favorite vocalist since she won the 1st year of Star Search way back in 93'. She was FANTASTIC then. She's even better today! So incredibly happy she made it back from the dark side alive.
I've been a fan for a long time and i still can't understand how come she is still underrated. Her voice is beyond amazing and so are all of her albums.
They did on purpose, since 2003 when she came back a lot of record deals where turned off because of the pressure for sales, and that is what make her addiction worst in the 90s so since she got sober her team has been bulding a good structure that allows her to do shows and record some albums in a pace that she can handled. It's for this reason that she can do her music and some of us see it. The pressure of the music bussiness can really take a total on some people, in her case is a pretty happy ending to get rid of that and still had a living of music.

But I've never heard of a really, really talented musician or artist who ISN'T messed up. I'm a visual artist, and I always enjoy watching and listening to other artists in their true medium perform the shit out of things. I never was cut out for the Taylor Swifts or the Justin Biebers of the world.
