I think the reason why the hybrid shot so good I the pellet liner is because thats the way they were designed. They made them to shoot out of a pellet airgun thats why they named them hybrid there a mix the slug but in a pellet airgun. So you don't have to have a certain liner or airgun to shoot them out of. p.s The grain of it probably has a lot to do with the design. This Is my opinion.💯✌️👌👍🥂🎯
I have FX crown continum MK2 synthetic with 2 barrels in two in one ، (with s for slug and p for pellets) i think that will verry good to push all that slugs you mentioned
I have just got the FX Crown MK 2 in .22 FAC rated ( UK ) 500mm barrel, what I would like is to be able to tune the gun so that with a given pellet I can be down at 12ft/lb but also by going up on both wheels achieve the sweet spot for full power . Reg is currently set at 110/115, shooting JSB 18.13 gr I’m getting 890 fps on Max & Max and 600 fps on Min & Min which is kind of close I’m thinking after watching this video, so maybe it’s small adjustments to get there and or trying the front port wheel on Medium setting rather than Max ? Loving the content by the way 🙌👍
Very informative as always Steve. Mk1 Crown with a 380mm barrel. Currently sitting at 150bar reg pressure and shooting 18g JSBs. I get the 80 shots but I want less power like 18-20ftlbs and I can’t seem to find a good starting point. Any advice on where I can start?
Hi Steve. Thanks for this video. I must have watched it over 10 times between the two channels. I finally decided to get the Continuum mK2 in .22 because of your review! I absolutely LOVE it. I’ve been trying to get the same kind of tunes you detailed in this vid but am falling quite short. I have managed to sort out a couple of tunes for the JSB 18.13s and the H&N 25 lmaintaining the same scope zero with a reg pressure of 150 bar, but I really want to increase my shot count. Did you happen to take measurements of the HS at the different reg settings? I know that all guns are different, and conditions, locations, etc. affect performance, but that kind of info would be a great starting point for us novices trying, in vain, to “duplicate” your settings. As a side note, I’ve heard that going from .22 to .25, you keep the same settings but send the ammo a good deal faster, meaning the power can be turned down to further increase shot count with the same accuracy. WOW
Love you reviews Steve you do a first class Job! Love the magizine have them in my Dreamline the only Issue I have had is that little o-ring falling out. What I did to was put just a small dab of black permitex in the recess and it's stayed there ever since. Have you thought about doing a tuning guide on the something like a Diana outlaw?
HI there Steve, I love your content and have enjoyed watching most of them, I clicked on this particular one video because I saw "Dual reg" on the description, the videos are getting extremely long lately and it is too much for me to watch 😒(therefore not watching most recent ones) so I could not finish it all. Does this Crown have a dual reg on it? I have a 2 nd gen that I love to shoot and it is great but , was just curious if it really has dual reg on it? thanks for any input you may have. Take care and hope everything is good after the storm that hit Florida on the 28th.
I own an fx panthera. From what I understand the FX Crown does not have the power of the FX impact all things being equal barrels calibers. Is there any way of getting it to perform with the same amount of power as an fx impact? Also do you think you can shoot slugs with the short Barrel or should I just stick to pellets with the 380 mm barrel. It's probably too short to shoot slugs
I was looking at buying the FX crown or the FX Impact. I noticed that the FX crown has less FPE at around 60 while the impact 25 caliber has about 90 FE I think. Any idea why? how many shots can you get with 30 caliber and a 25 caliber from the FX crown?
I have just bought the crown mk2 nordic wolf in .25 cal, am i able to use your tips and directions to tune it ? Or is there alot of difference between the newer versions.
AEAC fans, please bear with me as I migrate select content over from my other channel, AEAC Vlog. Thanks, Steve
Bought mine 1 month ago!

You can use them Paul. Airgun tuning is airgun tuning. Same rules & approach apply to all. Best, Steve
