Paul, this is FANTASTIC! Thank you so much...!!! Love the way you set this up on an old school figures design. I am 60 years old and come from old school figures, which I really sucked at, but believe is an excellent solid base for your skating career. Bless you for showing us this - it is excellent for your footwork!
Absolutely adore this video. I credit this video with getting my counters and back outside Choctaws. That back Choctaw drill is one of my favorite drills of all time! I would love a 2-4 minute video that does figure 8 drills for backward rockers and counters and the quickstep Choctaw.
In the IJS ( international judging system) steps and turns performed correctly are confirmed by the technical panel. Part of the judging panel. That process is known as calling.

Amazing thank you, yes I am a firm believer that circles are the best way to feel these turns correctly

Think I can do that for you 👍🏼 I have a difficult turn course in the works… hopefully due early next year 👍🏼
I think I tripped and fell 9 times just watching this video. This video is great. My rockers and counters aren't.
🙃 oh dear :/ I hope it helped somewhat
@@iskatecoach Oh yes! Now I just to go practice. A lot.
This is very helpful. Thank you.
Thanks Kenneth 👍🏼
This is super helpful! Thank you for making the video :))
Try the exercises 😊
What does it mean to have a turn "called?"
