I started doing this on my own because I was thinking it would help me strumming, thanks for confirming that its actually a good way to practice strumming, 💯
I still remember the first time I learned how to ride my bike without training wheels. My dad gave me a small push and the sheer terror and excitement, I felt.
Thanks for the strum and practice tips. Strum your guitar like a drummer on the top middle and bottom strings to give different percussive sounds on the same chord with your guitar playing. You are right never give but try harder. Every guitarist dreams start with 99 % inspiration but the efforts put in with 1 % perspiration leading a plateau in their guitar playing. Having a strict practice time helps to keep your playing going and knowing what to practice too is important for you to improve more. That's why we are subscribe and look at your channel for tips and advices. Thanks for the efforts and keep it up there, we look forward to your next guitar lessons. God bless you and your church music ministry too.
Good afternoon Brother, love all the lessons been looking and learning for months. Would it be possible for you to make some videos on your gear? I’d be interested in all gear. Especially the Streetmaster Martin. Thank you for all you do.
Yo idk if you’ll see this but i have a question. Do you simplify your tutorials and chords? Because any other sources but you seem like the chords are played differently and its driving me insane and idk whats right. Thanks if you answer this question of mine!!!
I would say for 98% of the tutorials I do they are exactly as the original song is. There are some songs that I’ll simplify down to three chords for beginners but most of the time if I do that I will say that in the lesson so that people know. The way I teach here in all of my lessons is more or less exactly how I play these songs every Sunday for worship at church. I use the capo a lot and use chords in the key of G (which some guitar experts might deem as ‘easy’), but it’s more or less exactly how the worship leaders play acoustic guitar in their music videos and live performances if you watch closely. Hope that answers your question man!
The only thing I might do different on Sunday mornings for worship is get a little more creative with my strumming and strum patterns to add more dynamics. But if you’re a beginner, you don’t need to worry about that. Naturally you will get smoother and smoother with strumming the more you play 👍
One needs a structurally outlined practice session. Or you're just wasting time. Instead of wasting time. put the time in educating oneself with the knowledge of ( What should my practice time be filled with. And time allotments for the fulfilments.)....you'll not become a knowledgeable player by picking your guitar up and strumming the same chordes with the same rythum ( strumming pattern ) everytime you put the guitar in your hands. One don't learn guitar overnight Guaranteed. What's Guaranteed, with structurally thought out practice times. You'll learn guitar quicker.. Remember, no need to get frustrated. Make it fun and methodical..
