I love dissonance it sounds more like real life to me and that’s why I think they can be so beautiful, it can be a complex emotionally feeling chord
@@RobertSaxy absolutely agree with you , many find dissonant intervals annoying, disgusting , ""scary"" , i literally feel something indescribable , emotionally

@@stoplookingatmeplease1230 I've always found that I think dissonance only appeals to people that listen to music so much that they start finding it "predictable" and so then it sorta takes more to sound "fresh" to your ear and dissonance does that. At least for me anyway. One of the most awesome dissonant sounds I've ever heard is Norah Jones doing Black Hole Sun on piano. It's beautiful.

I feel like finding this information should be easy, but it is hard. I appreciate your skill and willingness to commit to teaching. I want to jazz the shit out of a guitar. I was wondering if maybe you could give me a little guidance I've been learning with my instructor for almost 6 months now and I feel very frustrated trying to understand theory and how to go about studying it. With your guitar wisdom website is there a particular order I should follow in order to have an easier time trying to have a better understanding of music theory?
