I can see that you have interpreted data on the patient's responses. Is there a kind of investigator reporting and analysis data provided. Also, if the melanocytes sit in Dermis, is this treatment recommended forever?
I can’t predict but I’m sure it may take 6 months or longer. Don’t give up. I see a slight difference in my dark eye circles. But then I’m 71 and the creams need to work longer on my old skin. I didn’t have any other skin problems growing up just the eyes. I think part of it is because i rubbed my eyes so much to due hay fever and allergies.
I have deep dark circles since i was a child and i have tried every possible thing since I was teen and as much as it doesn't bother me I hate it when people make rude comments and try to educate like drink lots of water take good sleep try this that you look tired etc . I never had acne and when I see people with that issue I don't comment on it as it's understandable everyone is different so this is same issue why people don't get it

I don't wanna be too quick to judge. I'll wait the remaining 6 months to see how it goes and report back. As for money, I don't care how much I spend. Getting my face back means more to me than the money spent.

I went to her Dark Circle Clinic in London and underwent the three phases of the treatment for an expensive price. Did not see any difference or reduction in my Dark circles and in my personal case they appeared worse possibly due to the tugging from the micro-needling. Personally recommend others to see before and after pics before buying products and please do your research before spending lots of money

I also have some, loss of volume under my eyes so wasn't expecting to see drastic results but thought some minimal improvement would be visible with this treatment. Did not work despite following the after care steps.

Hi Dr V , I’ve been using your dark circle kit for 3 months and I am Amazed at how my dark circles have reduced . I have one of the worst cases of dark circles and have tried everything on the market including fillers . I knew that it would take probably more than 6 months to see results (if i saw any) , but 3 months in I don’t even need to wear concealer I can just wear powder on my face to cover my circles!! I ordered this product and used it for 6 months, I wanted to make sure I used it properly to give an honest review. I believe my dark circles came from allergies, I had seasonal allergies for years until I stop consuming dairy. I used this cream with high hopes but it didn't work for me. I am so thankful that someone of color has finally produced a kit for us who have these embarrassing dark circles that cannot be covered up even by the best concealers! I’m PRAYING this works! I’ve spent so much money on products that claim to rid hyperpigmentation, only to see another failure. At 45 years old, I’m tired of not leaving the house without tons of makeup on to hide the circles. This will be a life changer!! One question - I do suffer from eczema and have a flare up above/around my eyebrows. You mentioned NOT to use this product if there’s a flare up around the eyes. Would you recommend me to hold off using the kit even though my eyelids aren’t affected by eczema?
M a dermatologist myself.. the skin turn over time fr a child is not 3 days, can never be 3 days.. that epidermal turn over time is seen just in psoriasis and erythroderma..

I’m sorry, I don’t understand how these ingredients are meant to reduce dermal melanin deposits - like you said these are known to be super resistant to treatments, even lasers (one of the best modalities, is there a reason you didn’t mention them?). I’m curious if you have conducted blinded/controlled studies on these combinations around the eye area yourself? I’d be super fascinated to read that!
@@thepindthepind I mean it would help clear the epidermal melanin, but so would any tyrosinase inhibitor - adding more and more drugs with the same MOA doesn’t necessarily increase efficacy. Dermal melanin isn’t an ongoing process like in this epidermis, it’s trapped there because of inflammatory or genetic predispositions. Nothing really clears those except time or lasers... Ref: Momosawa et al 2008 (study on periorbital pigmentation in asian skin of color)

My dark circles never reduced let alone disappear. Years later I still have my dark circles. I still have your skin lightnex creams but they have done nothing for me. I've been using the Dark Circles Kit religiously for months and months and then using spf50 sunblock every day and topping it up. There has been absolutely no difference whatsoever. The cream doesn't do anything to improve the dark circles. Such a shame and such a waste of money.

Hi! I've been using Retin-A/tretinioin for 20 years now. I use to use it for acne but now I use it for anti-aging. I also use hydroquinone 4% for my melasma. My melasma is completely gone but I keep the cream on hand in case I need it. I also microneedle. I was really into it in 2018 and 2019, but I've lapsed this year. My skin is in great condition. I don't have hyperpigmentation and I don't have acne, so I used microneedling for product penetration. My roller has small needles and I never bled from using it.

Amazed at how my dark circles have reduced . I have one of the worst cases of dark circles and have tried everything on the market including fillers . I knew that it would take probably more than 6 months to see results (if i saw any) , but 3 months in I don’t even need to wear concealer I can just wear powder on my face to cover my circles!! I can’t wait to see how they will look in the next three months. Thankyou!!

I ordered this product and used it for 6 months, I wanted to make sure I used it properly to give an honest review. I believe my dark circles came from allergies, I had seasonal allergies for years until I stop consuming dairy. I used this cream with high hopes but it didn't work for me. I was so excited to finally have skin care for women of color. I hope it works for other 😊

I am so thankful that someone of color has finally produced a kit for us who have these embarrassing dark circles that cannot be covered up even by the best concealers! I’m PRAYING this works! I’ve spent so much money on products that claim to rid hyperpigmentation, only to see another failure. At 45 years old, I’m tired of not leaving the house without tons of makeup on to hide the circles. This will be a life changer!!
One question - I do suffer from eczema and have a flare up above/around my eyebrows. You mentioned NOT to use this product if there’s a flare up around the eyes. Would you recommend me to hold off using the kit even though my eyelids aren’t affected by eczema?

M a dermatologist myself.. the skin turn over time fr a child is not 3 days, can never be 3 days.. that epidermal turn over time is seen just in psoriasis and erythroderma..

I've been on the dark circles in-clinic procedure for 4 months now. Got my second treatment tomorrow. No change so far. I'll let you know how it goes. I've had periorbital hyperpigmentation for 16 months now. Got it from sun damage last year.

I’m sorry, I don’t understand how these ingredients are meant to reduce dermal melanin deposits - like you said these are known to be super resistant to treatments, even lasers (one of the best modalities, is there a reason you didn’t mention them?). I’m curious if you have conducted blinded/controlled studies on these combinations around the eye area yourself? I’d be super fascinated to read that!
@@thepindthepind I mean it would help clear the epidermal melanin, but so would any tyrosinase inhibitor - adding more and more drugs with the same MOA doesn’t necessarily increase efficacy. Dermal melanin isn’t an ongoing process like in this epidermis, it’s trapped there because of inflammatory or genetic predispositions. Nothing really clears those except time or lasers...
Ref: Momosawa et al 2008 (study on periorbital pigmentation in asian skin of color)

I visited your dark circles clinic a few years ago and spent quite a bit on the treatments and creams. I followed all the post treatment instructions and used the creams as stated. My dark circles never reduced let alone disappear. Years later I still have my dark circles. I still have your skin lightnex creams but they have done nothing for me. I am sorry to say but I have been very disappointed since my dark circles have affected my confidence majorly and the treatment/creams never worked.

I've been using the Dark Circles Kit religiously for months and months and then using spf50 sunblock every day and topping it up. There has been absolutely no difference whatsoever. The cream doesn't do anything to improve the dark circles. Such a shame and such a waste of money.

Hi! I've been using Retin-A/tretinioin for 20 years now. I use to use it for acne but now I use it for anti-aging. I also use hydroquinone 4% for my melasma. My melasma is completely gone but I keep the cream on hand in case I need it. I also microneedle. I was really into it in 2018 and 2019, but I've lapsed this year. My skin is in great condition. I don't have hyperpigmentation and I don't have acne, so I used microneedling for product penetration. My roller has small needles and I never bled from using it.

@@Mamignonne100 I did the in clinic treatment. The kits come as part of it. I've still got the box and creams in the kit. Useless even after 9 months of trying I gave up cos I knew it wasn't gonna work if I did it for a month longer.
