I believe that "It's the Indian it's not the arrow." You are a great player and will make any guitar sound good. That being said I believe the Ibanez GB series is comparable to any guitar with a more prestigious name on the headstock.
Great playing and such a wonderful jazz sound. I had two early GB10’s in the 80’s. Think I wore frets out on both and could never afford refrets in the day. Would love to have another but prices are really high for the Japanese made ones these days. Would love to know what amp you are using?
I love the sound of that GB 10! I have a 1979 GB 10 myself.

Very nice and great tone--I have the GB 10 SE -play with fingers only and love the tone and playability as well
