+Alex7aj I've had worse, I had an eye infection (pretty sure it was pink eye) so I went to sleep, when I woke up I kept the infected eye shut until I finished my breakfast, I headed to the bathroom mirror to check on my eye, when I tried to open my eye, eye boogers had them shut down, and when I forcefully opened them I could see strings of eye boogers from my top eyelid to the bottom eyelid, I was disgusted so I quickly washed my eye.

When I was a kid, I thought that it was because the eye was closed for so long, your body began the process of sealing it completely. i.e. the longer you sleep the more of it the eye produces. Let's just say that I had a lot of sleepless nights as a kid!

One time when I was little, I woke up with so much eye gunk that my eyes were practically glued shut! I was so scared as I was feeling my way off the bunk bed yelling for my parents. I didn't know what was going on. I thought I was blind!

One time I woke up, and I couldn't open my eyes. I started to panic. I touched my eyelids and I felt a gooey substance on my eyelashes. I managed to get one eye open, so I made my way to a sink. At the mirror, the gooey stuff was a lime color. It was a real pain to get all the "Eye boogers" out of my eyelashes. Real troubles.

When I was young, something scary happened to me. I went to sleep like any other little boy. But when I woke up I couldn't open my eyes. Turns out the eye gunk stuck to each other and my eyelashes. I thought I was blind and started to panic.....MOM MOMMY MAMA! My mom got a hold of me, told me to calm down, and proceeded to wash out the gunk. After, I gave her the biggest hug ever known to man. It's a Guinness world record hug😅.

One time as a kid I had white sticky cones that stuck to my eyelashes and I couldn't pull them off for awhile.
The same eyelid was covered in the eye goop. Pretty much unable to open one of my eyes.
I recall not being able to sleep that night. The cones might of been there to give my eyes oxygen or something.
Not sure why sticky white cones appear on our eyelashes though.
