yeah its hit or miss, its insane that you can become 2x stronger and more resistent than in the beginning, the early stage of the DLC should be easier, because naturally you won't find too many shards
Yea it definitely needs tweaking otherwise everyone is just going to run a specific build farm runes or just spend hours looking for all of these fragments. Keeps people from enjoying it to the fullest
This dlc is amazing but I do have to agree. Locking "levels" behind stupid exploration is incredibly tedious and annoying. And I'm not complaining and about having to explore, I love that and I want to explore every inch of this dlc. But having these be on totally random fodder enemies you could very easily accidentally miss is very stupid. Making it so I'm basically a wet paper towel until I find all of these and then hiding them in random spots I could easily accidentally walk by is incredibly frustrating.
First off, thank you, your guides are so good. On #12 there is a less stressful way to get down especially if you are bad at jumping like me. When you get to the bugs, hop across that part where the ledges are close, but go left instead of right, there you will find a grace. From the grace go back towards the water fall, but go right and circle around. You will find a graveyard, just follow the ledges down to land before that last waterfall, then move up river, hugging the right side to the fragment.

Thank you. Honestly this DLC has been horrifically boring. Just like the main game its gone for quantity over quality and horrible design everywhere. The base dark souls games were incredible, but the DLC was usually the highlight, so i thought maybe elden rings would be passable, but no it just says eff your build you spent 100 hours making, please play a game of hide and seek with some bark before you can actually play the DLC you bought. All in all just a dreadful gaming experience and id have 100% stopped playing without tbese videos. Cant wait to do another DS1 or DS3 run and actually be back playing a good game again
55 Vigor, Scadutree 10(half-way to max I think), every top tier dmg negation talisman, and Golden Vow. Plus Godrick's Rune for personal reasons and I get 2-3 tapped by Messmer. It's a fucking pain and for the 1st time got to me only use jumping attacks for a boss. My original build was mimicking Rellana but I just suck I guess.

It’s not that big of a issue, the point is not to steam roll it. There is a lot you can find just roaming

The grace is recluses.

Commandr Gaius is such a poorly designed boss, constantly rushing, almost no time to heal or counter, Hitbox is sometime bs
