It's closed because of political reasons. Mostly what happened in thr 90s during Algerian civil war and when there was a terrorist attack in Morocco done by Moroccans and they accused Algerians of doing it and humiliated them and kicked them out of Moroco so Algeria closed it. And now Morroco normilized relations with Israel and is doing military cooperation with them (while they are doing a genocide...) so another big betrayal. As an Algerian I love Moroccans and have many friends there but I am 100% with keeping the borders closed because of their government actions...

Greetings from Algeria.in fact the borders were open until 1994. on that date an attack took place in Marrakech, and the Moroccan authorities had unfairly attributed it to Algerians. following this, all Algerians were expelled from Morocco. The Moroccan authorities then unilaterally imposed an entry visa for Algerians. and that is when Algeria closed its borders with Morocco.

الحدود يمكن للمغرب ان يقبل بفتحها. حاليا الجزاءر وضعها صعب بل اكثر بكثير من صعوبات المغرب. حاليا ليس من مصلحة المغرب فتح الحدود لان الجزاءر ليست لديها مشروع و لا افاق و طريقها عكس طريق المغرب. الشرط الصحيح لفتح الحدود هو انتظار ان يصبح للجزاءر مشروع مستقبلي يتوافق مع الرؤية المغربية. اتركوا العاطفة جنبا و الزيارات العاءلية . الجزاءر حاليا لا تنتج لا افكار مستقيمة و لا رؤية و لا مشروع للمستقبل. الجزاءر تحكمها عصابة عسكرية بدعم فرنسي تستنزف خيرات البلاد و تدهب بها الى فرنسا و اوروبا و الخارج. ليس للمغرب فاءدة في فتح الحدود.

It's closed because of political reasons. Mostly what happened in thr 90s during Algerian civil war and when there was a terrorist attack in Morocco done by Moroccans and they accused Algerians of doing it and humiliated them and kicked them out of Moroco so Algeria closed it.
And now Morroco normilized relations with Israel and is doing military cooperation with them (while they are doing a genocide...) so another big betrayal.
As an Algerian I love Moroccans and have many friends there but I am 100% with keeping the borders closed because of their government actions...

Greetings from Algeria.in fact the borders were open until 1994. on that date an attack took place in Marrakech, and the Moroccan authorities had unfairly attributed it to Algerians. following this, all Algerians were expelled from Morocco. The Moroccan authorities then unilaterally imposed an entry visa for Algerians. and that is when Algeria closed its borders with Morocco.
My advice as a brother is to avoid these topics between Algeria and Morocco, because in these recent years the political hostility between the two countries has intensified. You are a polite Muslim girl. Don't step into these murky waters.

What development of Morocco are you talking about? The Moroccan economy is the 6th largest on the African continent, while Algeria has the third largest economy, behind South Africa and Egypt. There are more Moroccan workers in Algeria than Algerian workers in Morocco and we all know that !

@@valval657they lie as they breath wallah I’ve never seen such liars , in Algeria every poor person has a roof over their head and even eats sometimes fruits 🍉 and they live , not like in Morocco half of the population is poor and when we say poor they can’t afford a house ! They sleep in the street with their kids and this was documented in Spanish television and there’s thousands of videos posted by these people themselves on internet and the problem is that they always use these videos as proof to insult us Algerians when it’s their own people
