2nd custom shortcut - set "c" to add edit, shift "c" to add edit all tracks and shift "x" to ripple delete

C to add edit, D to ripple delete, idk why no one uses D for ripple delete it makes most sense

Most of this is stuff that anyone that has used pp for anytime would know. I wouldnt change the q and w, i use that a lot and is a real time saver, I have add edit for different shortcut key. This would be a good video for a real beginner. Larry

This is a custom shortcut, but set "s" to toggle selection foĺlows playhead and alt/opt "s" to snap in timeline

Try selecting the clip with the mouse, hold control+option on Mac and control+alt on Win and drag to swap clip order

I can recommend to start editing full projects. Where you can play with the story and pacing of videos. And the full editing process. There is a full 40min video about that too on my channel. If you're looking more into effects, you should watch a in depth course about that. (But then you can better start with After Effects.)
