I was amazed at how "new" some of those toys looked, but than you showed the big hanger with the Texaco Piper Cub inside and I was blown away. My late brother was a career Texaco employee and every year at Christmas he gave to each of his 4 kids the Texaco toy of the year. His son has them all! Having that hangar would have been the cherry on the sundae.
Probably, we see so " many " new and newish toys is because we played with them to death and rust!! The kids who where not, really, interested where able to hand them down or sell them... OK, yes, there were some kids who played with their toys and still kept them nice, but what fun was that??!!!!!! I hope nieces and nephews appreciate those, cool, Texaco toys!!!! Keep an eye open for a hanger or a tin, Texaco station!!!!

Some of those toys look like they were never played with. When I was a kid I played with them and enjoyed them. You need two one for collecting and one for playing with!
When we were kids, who'da thunk they would become this dear??!! Meanwhile, you had a ball driving them around dirt mounts hauling all kinds of rocks and things!

I love the airplane hangar with the Texaco airplane . I have a Cessna 150 ( full size ) ! So many of those are in VG to excellent condition !
I can see why you are partial to the Texaco plane and tin hanger!! The 150 is a sweet plane!! I had taken a few " sample lessons " in one many years ago. This collection has so many nice toys....
