**Heavy Metal intensifies**
HAHAHA THIS. This is one of those rare comments that made me laugh out loud. Thank you.
I like James Spader and Tom Kane equally. I can't choose one over the other because both portrayals are so different to me.
+Stealthabotte Agreed. They are easily the coldest and the most menacing of the portrayals.
Agreed. Equally as good while being unique
Kane is better when depicted as emotionless while spader is better when he’s depicted to be more human.
@@adambesley4455
James Spader's Ultron was Not Menacing.
@@sonnieandjacob
James Spader's Ultron was bad.
While I like James Spader's Ultron I have to go with Tom Kane simply because he captures the classic Ultron's cold ruthlessness
I can agree with that. I think I like James Spader more for the film, but as a cartoon, Tom Kane's is better. In my opinion that is.
Both for the win
James Spader, Humanized the chsrecter. While Tom Kane, presents more machine.
Agreed.
@@SpaceAlley
MCU Ultron was bad, only good voice.
I like James Spader's voice as Ultron
Yeah, Spader's the best.
Tom Kane is better imo
That is Raymond reddington talking
Me too
A.K.A Worst Ultron.
Tom Kane and James spader for me
THE WITCHBLADE I used to like it but now Spader's voice seems so horrible for me. What were they thinking? He sounds so...human
Tom Kane is to me the definitive voice. While James Spader sounds evil and menacing. Tom Kane’s Ultron sounds like an actual emotionless, cold, detached robot.
Yeah, I like James Spader. But same with you. Tom Kane is the definitive voice for Ultron.

• *”Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes”*
I swear if they just kept the jack-o-lantern look for Age of Ultron, that movie would have been perfect in my eyes.
Alex Howard his cheeks go away when he gets angry
I prefer the movie Ultron as trying to evolve, he tries to look more human so when he destroys the earth hell be praised as a hero whereas with his monsterous form, he looks like a demon. I however would agree with having dormarmmu in doctor strange with his jack o lantern appearance. I didn't like how they made him human like. Would've fit Galactus.
His final look got that
@@ITheIM7IOmegaI
Ultron Should look like a demon, him becoming human is against what he is in the comics.
@@ITheIM7IOmegaI
Another problem with what you are saying is that in the comics, Ultron is actually a Galactic Conqueror at a Universal Scale so it dosent make any sense for him to look human to be a hero sense a lot of alien species are Like Humans but don't look like them.
"When the dust settles, the only things living in this world will be Tom Kane and James Spader.''
Tom Kane only, James Spader's Ultron was a Comedian.
If you could combine the emotionless machine-like voice of Tom Kane with the sardonic human-like voice of James Spader, you'd have the perfect Ultron.
James Spader brings life to the Ultron character just by his brilliance in voice acting. You could feel and sense the emotion just by listening to him giving life to the character.
Ultron is supposed to be cold and calculating, dummy.
@@darky1595 Ultron's AI was made with the help of the Mind Stone, so it's safe to assume he would have some sort of emotion in the mcu.
@@darky1595 also in the comics Ultron is programmed off the mind of hank pym we see him getting angry which keep in mind is a emotion multiple times😊
@@darky1595Not always. He always gets angry.
I like the idea of Ultron sounding like his creator. Any time they do that I like his voice.
As far as acting goes, they all work in their own way.
I will stay neutral.
Ultron in the MCU shares some personality traits with Iron Man who's his creator and he might have a bit of Bruce Banner but probably not. While Hank Pym's Ultron is calculating and less emotional than MCU Ultron just like Pym is more scientific than Tony Stark.
Tom Kane, Jim Meskimen and James Spader, Feel like they are different versions of him and embody him quite nicely
James Spader is the best in my opinion. Very hypnotic sounding, yet soothing at the same time. Which honestly would make sense since I’m the film he(Ultron) was intended to be a peacekeeper so it would make sense for him to have a hypnotic soothing voice.
Tom Kane is so good! i love James spader too both are brilliant
My Top 3:
3. 0:28 James Horan
2. 3:01 James Spader
1. 1:00 Tom Kane
Same.

james spader=ultron he is to ultron what m(arkham)ill is 2 joker :)
tom kane voice is badass
+TheGenerationWest try to use jim meskimen as metal sonic last metal can speak in sonic heroes
If you want a purely emotionless and unfeeling Ultron, go for Tom Kane. If you want a more disturbed and emotionally terrifying Ultron, James Spader's the one to go for. I personally prefer Spader.
Oh My GOD SPONGEBOB IS ULTRON!!
Thats Tom Kenny
@@mikemansfield5819 well 2:07
That man played half my childhood, so it doesn't surprise me.
1:14 "You must realize...you are doomed.." Oh wait no that's from General Grievous.
ACSpectator LMAO I LITERALLY THOUGHT HE WAS GONNA SAY THAT
Funny considering Tom Kane is Yoda
James Spader gets my vote, His voice sounds so calming and yet menacing
Tom and Jim ARE ULTRON. Pure Evil, no redeeming, no funny moments, only cruelty, sadism
Tom Kane and James Spader are the best Ultron voices
1.) Tom Kane
2.)James Spader
3.)Jim Meskimen
Tome Kane is easily the best voice for Ultron, bar none. The others sounded too much like evil diabolical humans, which wouldn't actually be so bad if the character they're voicing isn't human at all. Tom, however, he actually makes Ultron sound like an empty, emotionless logic-based robotic husk of a machine, thus making him more terrifying and menacing.
Couldn't have said it better. He was so cold, logical, calculating.
I would say Tom Kane, Tom Kenny and James Spader are the only one who do it justice
JB He may not have been emotionless but he is more of a serious threat in some ways because of his cold logic
It's like having Corey Burton voice Braniac. It just fits.
@JB nice joke
Tom Kane is The Best Ultron voice EVER.
Especialy in Avengers EMH.
He is just so menacing.
Tom Kenny's was pretty good too.
No
He sounded better in next avengers
Now the Ultron in Marvel What-If does the absolute brilliant job the voice is impressive
Better Than James Spader in some ways IMO.
tom kane's voice is simply the best for ultron. feels so robotic yet cool.
the effect they used for tom kane's voice in Next Avengers was PERFECT!
“I’m glad you asked me that because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan.”

Cringe.
I love tom Kane voting ultron especially in hero's of tomorrow

I can't decide between James Spader and Jim Meskimen. They're both excellent at portraying Ultron.
Earth's mightiest Heroes had my ideal voice of Ultron. It's the voice I think of first
I don't know why but I always hear Tom Kane's voice in my head when I read Ultron's lines while reading comics but Brainiac, especially the pre-Crisis robot Brainiac, always has James Spader's "Ultron" voice.
@@KrisFrost4359 Interesting...
I know, comment's late, but what comics do you imagine when it comes to Corey Burton's Brainiac?
Tom Kane has got to be the worlds greatest ultron voice actor ever
float I couldn’t agree more
Tom Kane is the best IMO, he makes ultron sound like a cold, heartless, emotionless machine that he is. Everyone else is either a bit too human like in their speech pattern or sounds too much like a robot.
I like James Spader but imo the movie Ultron was such a horrible version of the character. Tom Kane is the best imo
Shut the fuck up
My top three are Jim meskimen Tom Kane and James spider
The range that Tom Kane had is jaw dropping… I hope wherever our beloved veteran of the industry is, he’s doing fine.
Wowww
”My vision, they really did take everything from me.”
”Ahh, you cut me out! Do you think I care !?”
James Spader will be and always will be the voice of Ultron.
Definitely James Spader.
To answer your other question, I would like to see you do Comparing the Voices videos for Cloak and Dagger next, but they've both been played by only 3 voice actors each, and I'm not sure that's worth a whole video.
Our pro audio app (Amazing MP3 Recorder Pro on Google Play) now has an Ultron voice - click Effects - Voice Changer - select the 'Uldron' voice.
James Spader all the way.

wow Tom Kane very well done; is how Ultron should sound like , and without any sound distorted ... perfect .
Tom kane voiced ultron and boba, thats badass
I find Tom Kane and Spader's portrayals more satisfyng than the others.
My favorite is James spader, but that’s pretty much because I watched blacklist, and identified him as ultranationalist already lol
Ultron
Tom Kane's Ultron reminds me of Shockwave
James Spader and Jim Meskimen’s portrayals of Ultron are my favorites!
1:00 Tom Kane
3:01 James Spader
The last one is so good I saw his movie
I am stuck between Tom Kane and James Spader. THEY'RE BOTH SO GOOD!
I want to say James Spader but Tom Kane just captures Ultron better because he sounds like a machine. Spader had too much emotion in his voice sometimes, Tom Kane is just emotionless, cold and calculating 96% of the time except for a few moments where his voice subtly gets angrier.
Also, Tom's Ultron in EMH had a more logical plan, going straight for the nukes instead of trying to create a body first.
I weirdly encountered this on a research of Marvel Villians, but I feel that Spader is the best. This is based off my belief that, yes it is more human sounding and less machine, but that in itself makes it more terrifying, knowing something so seemingly human, has that same cold, ruthless intent on death and control, a mockery of what it hates.
James Spader is my favorite Ultron, but Tom Kane is my second
Stocker, Kane and Spader.
Aside from Spader I think I like Meskimen's more younger calculating version.
tom kane is amazing
i love the original ultron but i realy love the "new" interpretation
1-Tom Kane and James Spander
2-Tom Kenny
Spader wipes the board!
1- James Spader (trailer)
2- Tom Kane (1st take)
3- Jim Meskimen
4- James Spader (Film)
i think the james spader one is the most intimidating which is very good!
Fun Fact: in the form of the people who have voiced Ultron ( not counting Wally Wingert ), we have two Magnetos, two Deadshots, one Wheeljack, one Doctor Strange, one Doctor Octopus, one Starscream, one Hulk, one Ghost Rider, one Sabretooth, two Juggernauts, and two Iron Mans.
Tom Kane did such a great job
Do one on brainiac thank you
Nothing will beat Spader's meteor monologue.
Why? It was a monologue about a dumb plan anyway.
@@user-dl5ln3wd6f It was eloquent, well-written, and chilling in its delivery. And Spader's voice is just awesome.

7. Tom Kenny
Tom Kane is better, James Spader's Ultron is a comedian.
I just dont hear James Spader. I just hear Ultron. The man did his voice so fucking perfectly.
Tom Kane is the best Ultron, James Spader's Ultron is more of a Comedian.
But When I hear James Spader's Ultron I don't hear Ultron, I feel like I'm just hearing James spader.
Tom Kane & James Spader are *perfect*
Alright, Spader made it more terrifying. And more emphatic.
James Horan is Skull Face btw.
Tom Kane and James Spader
MCA and Spader.
And I wonder if he is going to be in MvC:I, who will voice him?
I hope all mcu characters will be voiced by their own respective actors and actresses, at least they can be a DLC labeled as "MCU Voice Pack" or each dlc character has a comic book version voice and MCU version Voice, i really want to hear Hulk Voiced by Lou Ferrigno (the smart Hulk variation), and also hear how mcu A-list celebrities pronounce the capcom characters names when switching characters.
1) Jim Meskimen
2) Tom Kane
3) James Spader
4) Fred Tatasciore
5) Adrian Pasder
6) Tom Kenny
7) Micheal Dobson
8) James Horen
9) John Stocker
Not counting Wally Wingert since he is voicing a completely different version.
I would recommend: Corey Burton, Peter Jessop, Jeff Bennett, Dee Bradley Baker, Todd Harberkorn, Jim Foronda, Marc Diarison, Mike McFarland, Steve Blum, Maurice LaMarche, Chris Britton, Vic Mignogna, George Newbern, Crispin Freeman, Liam O’Brien, Frank Welker, MACinTalk, Josh Keaton, Jim Ward, James Arnold Taylor, Keith Silverstein, Darryl Kurylo, Mark Rolston, Bob Carter, Colin Murdock, Robert Picardo or Eric Roberts as Ultron.
Tom Kane sounds like what Ultron is supposed to sound like, but to say that James Spader did an awful job would be lying. What people don't seem to understand is that they had to change the character a little to make him more interesting and likable in the MCU. Also to avoid complaints from people who would have said his character was too dull, though that part is kinda stupid, since he's supposed to be like the Terminators that Skynet built. Either way, Spader was a good choice for Ultron in that film.
Ironically, the changes made to him are what made me unable to like him. I love James Spader and I love Ultron and it was a great casting, but the way he was written and designed in the movie ruined it. Having Tony Stark build him just adds to the annoying fact that Stark's always the center of everything in the MCU. Hell, wouldn't be surprised if he gives Misty Knight her bionic arm like in the comics. Giving Ultron facial expressions makes him look too much like a Transformer from the Michael Bay movies and it humanizes him too much. Letting Ultron crack cheap jokes cheapened the character and him showing concern for the Maximoffs really ruined him. I fell in love with him in the comics because he was ruthless and without emotion and most definitely the inspiration for Skynet in the Terminator movies.
I still enjoyed the movie but Ultron was the weakest part of it.
You are saying that some people would complain about him being too dull, yet, most people hate that movie because Ultron wasn't emotionless and terrifying like he is in the comics.
"Change the character little" LMAO! No, be sucked and was nothing like the original.
I think Lance Henriksen could also give it a try as Ultron sometime.
Jim Meskimen and James Spader are my faves

Ultron would be kinda interesting if in one show or movie he uses a synthetic voice (like Steven hawking)
James Spader, Tom Kane, John Stocker, James Horan and Jim Meskimen
I like Tom spade, and james spade , their voices have depth and dimensions where its needed
James Spader. The other ones make him sound more machine like but ignore the fact that Ultron is the most advanced machine ever built. Even Siri and Alexa sound more human. Remember that this is the most advanced AI ever built. One that thinks, is self aware and philosophies. James nailed it with his performance.
Ultron is supposed to be a Emotionless A.I in the comics and there is no contradiction between being an so advanced and having a machine like personality. Plus, James Spader's Ultron is more of a Comedian than a Emotionless Genocidal Badass A.I Robot that Ultron is in the comics.

James Spader for me personally, such a great job.
I like Spader’s portrayal as Ultron, and enjoy said version of Ultron. I’d love to see him come back to the MCU if at all possible. But outside of the MCU, Tom Kane really did the role right
"You Avengers, are my meteor. My swift and terrible sword and the earth will crack with the weight of your failure. Purge me from your computers, turn my own flesh against me. it means nothing. But when the dust settles, the only thing living in this world, will be metal."

James Spader its crazy i watched Ultron and found him fascinating, didn't have any clue who played him and never searched either. A few years after I stumbled upon a tv series called Blacklist where James Spader is the star of the show and thought to myself holy shit that actor is great and then I listened to Ultron's lines from the Avengers movie and then it all clicked. James Spader isn't just an amazing actor but an amazing actor who can voice great characters!

Yes, you don't dare to doubt my opinion because I read Comics and know who is Ultron Actually is.
Ultron in the comics is originally a Powerful Emotionaless Genocidal Badass A.I Robot who is in the same level as Thanos and is Considered to be the Best Avengers Villain, the MCU ruined him and turned him into a Comedian Generic Cartoon Villain.
