- We put the Field Logic Block 6x6 target to the test using a fast shooting heavy arrow setup with the Mathews Traverse and VAP Elite .250 Spine Arrows. We test the stopping power and easy pulling of the target. These are micro diameter arrows that pack a punch, so if it can stop these arrows, it should stop any arrow. I shoot the target from 20 yards and point blank. I show the penetration and then see how hard it is to pull the arrows out. Overall this seems like a quality target for the money that will stop both heavy and fast moving arrows. Have you shot any broadheads through it yet? Looking to see how hard it is to pull. I need one to tune bow prior to start of season in a couple weeks. Don’t plan on putting too many arrows through it as I have a couple bags for that. Strictly for tuning
I haven’t and I don’t think I will, the broad heads tend to take chunks out of it. It stops them fine but will definitely reduce the life of the target
Yes it will stop any arrow but the real question is will you be able to pull it out when you buried it to the vanes
I covered the pull out strength. It’s not too hard to pull arrows out in general. If it goes to the vanes then you just push it out from the back
@@WeekendWoodsmen I recent just picked up a ravin r 20 once you shoot some of them high power fps bows you might be looking for a new bag, I also have a block target it would stop them all just very hard to get them back out I’m talking buried them up to the vanes, and I wouldn’t want to push them to the other side to much work currently waiting on my new spider bag to arrive
Unfortunately my bow/arrow setup is very hard to stop. I got a yellow jacket target this year and it is WAY harder to pull and same to slightly less stopping power
@@WeekendWoodsmen I hear you on that mine required me to stand on the block target and pull with all my might to get it out, some of them that were buried I had to cut out after the reviews I’ve seen on the spider bag target they have some with no fps rating, and a average penetration of 6-8” and the bag is suppose to close the holes back up after you pull it out. Btw just subbed and nice videos

You know what that doesn't look good I know your bow is got kinetic energy but not like a crossbow and if you're shooting through the back side on that it looks to me like a crossbow would go right through it
I would be willing to bet this bow would stack right up with a cross bow when you factor in the length of arrow. I bought my next target (after this one) and it was rated for 350 FPS crossbow and the 10th shot went right through it
Yea I bought this target yesterday and at 30 yards with a broadhead from my crossbow that is shooting 360fps it buries the bolt to the fletching. Its already chewed up some of my fletching sigh.....
Sorry to hear it, but I don’t think you will find a target that will stop that setup and take broad heads if it is doing that on this target. The good news is you shouldn’t have to shoot many with a broad head with a crossbow
