  • Late afternoon moto from the one and only Glen Helen. Besides my own mistake and stall around 1:18, this was a fun ride on the 2024 Honda CRF450: Fast with a solid engine package and comfortable ergonomics, there's value in the CRF machine. With just over 10 hours on the meter, it also "broke in" from my last outings on it, which made for a more comfortable and confidence inspiring ride!

How do you like the bike?

It's GOOD! Haha much better than most moto-media give it credit for. With some tasteful modifications like a Dunlop MX34 front tire, fresh grips, and 23.5/24mm triple clamps, they are excellent bikes: Well built, really good front brake, strong engine, and very maneuverable. Should be some good deals coming on the 2023's and 2024's as an all-new 2025 is expected, so use that to your advantage if looking to buy new. Cheers

@@CasMoto and suspension? Is really that bad?

@@denis_p.4213 Not bad at all. For riders in the 165-185 lb. range, it's actually quite good once 8-10 hrs are on it. I'm pushing that 185-190 range, and only went out one click of fork rebound this particular day with cold sag set at 105mm. The CRF chassis is sag and fork height sensitive, so learning your numbers for each individual track is highly advisable. Good bike, even better with proper setup.
