I love this build but for some reason i don't feel comfortable with the hot air from the CPU going right to the bottom of the POWER SUPPLY. I know that it does not overheat... Its just that i like a bit more space for the airflow. Also i prefer the pull push cooler.
i built a similar build just in a slightly bigger mini tower and it is all padded on the doors and top lid. amazing sound dampening and great airflow with a single 140mm(can have 2x) on the front and space for a mini gpu or a (full sized msi gpu) love it so far as it takes minimal space
I ended up breaking the glue or whatever was holding that shroud on as it was was wobbly, but didn’t realise it was going to break lol, it is a bit stupid having that bit stick out just for aesthetics if it gets in the way some times. Good build though, I was looking at replacing my desktop with the SG13 model due to atx psu support, but interesting to see a build in this case still.
Very similar build to mine. Except I crammed a 2600x and a 3 slot rtx 2060 into a coolermaster 110. With an NH-L12s for cpu cooler. Yes they do fit. You just need to make some cuts.

Dude, me and my dad were cleaning out my PC that is like 2 yrs old that I NEVER cleaned before. @@jtdalton1984 no problem, mate
@@ronniepickering8589 The motherboard is actually the Asus ROG STRIX B450-I (You can clearly see the m.2 heatsink when he's installing the GPU, and since metal accent logo =/= rgb, then no x470-I).
It's been stated asus's motherboard is better than gigabyte's when overclocking (maybe even handling stronger CPUs, 2700x for example?) But since the idea is building such a SFF PC like this, overclocking is definitely not the go-to.
edit: after I actually watched the video I noticed how kyle shows when he changed the motherboard, now I don't feel at all special for randomly reading this comment while skipping half the video

This is proof that Kyle works for the Verge.
14:37 is it only me, or the second USB 3.0 connector in the front panel is broken or asymmetrically attached?

Building a heater for Christmas
#101
I love this build but for some reason i don't feel comfortable with the hot air from the CPU going right to the bottom of the POWER SUPPLY. I know that it does not overheat... Its just that i like a bit more space for the airflow. Also i prefer the pull push cooler.
We all know a lot of us know how to build already but we still watch because its enjoyable XD
where are the parts used? i dont see it in the description
isn't it crazy how we are watching a week old video as "new"?
Lots of channels do this, in order to provide incentive to Patrons or some form of paid subscription
Or he's on vacation and needed content for us.
@@davisbradford7438 no. read the description, he uses float plane
18:30 look at the bottom usb port
Crazy Eyes approved
What’s the mat you’re using? Looks like something I should get
i built a similar build just in a slightly bigger mini tower
and it is all padded on the doors and top lid.
amazing sound dampening and great airflow with a single 140mm(can have 2x)
on the front and space for a mini gpu or a (full sized msi gpu)
love it so far as it takes minimal space
18:30 dat crooked USB 3.0 port.
@Darius Beaumont wow. insulting people who make comments of no relavance or insult to you. toxic.
Was the "tweezers" comment at 9:33 an intentional joke?
vargonian yes it’s from the verge pc video

everything

is it safe to use black paint on spaghetti cable?
BOi!! Heck no! buy some cheap cables he talked about in his video on the matter.
Well now I suddenly want to do a compact build 😣
Me too and I just got my mid case the other day
Imagine bringing that thing to class
"Snip off those tweezers" Beautiful Verge slander, my fellow PC enthusiast.
Great video, I have been looking for a good instruction video of a tiny pc for a while
The clickbait with the Sata cables got me.. already know that’s gonna be a struggle

What monitors are those in the background?
Marcin Sadowy They’re both 4K Asus Rog Swift PG348Q monitors
When the sponsored content has really bad reviews but you need the money.
18:29 what happened to that 2nd usb port? xD
I like Lyle better! “CPU insteration comprete”
huh i just got that exact gpu for my sff alt build
Almost complete opposite here. I have a 1500X, 16GB RAM and a 450W gold psu. It's just accompanied with sata ssd and hdd as well as an rx570.
I have the same GPU with a 7700k and its a 1080p monster. Not much more than that tho. Im wanting a 1070ti or 1080 to start into 1400p/4k.
Everyone! The case is called the Silverstone Sg05
this is truly one of the best pc build videos i've ever seen (and i watch a lot lol) i didn't even know IO stands for Input/Output xD
Very similar build to mine. Except I crammed a 2600x and a 3 slot rtx 2060 into a coolermaster 110. With an NH-L12s for cpu cooler.
Yes they do fit. You just need to make some cuts.
5:11 when your crush calls you but you remember she rejected you
why is this tiny box better then my pc
@Lost Khajiit What's special about Kyle or Lyle? Carey Holzman is the one (and only)! xD
@Lost Khajiit Oh I see all that matters to you is camera angle! For me it's the excellent explanations and Carey Holzman's experience! But this does not seem to count for you! Thanks for answering but your opinion is useless (at least for me)! :P
@Lost Khajiit Your insisting on "your opinion" shows how useless this comment is to me! You don't even need to agrue with me on your useless opinion. It's just a waste of MY precious time. Thanks a lot! :P
_Minions Wants to know your location_
Mr. ANGAD So underrated comment.
Dude, me and my dad were cleaning out my PC that is like 2 yrs old that I NEVER cleaned before. The CPU was stuck to the heat sink and for whatever reason my dad was prying it off while it was above the case. It popped off and landed on the pins on a metal part of the case. Long story short I spent the next 2 hrs with a pair of tweezers and a credit card straightening the bent pins of my poor abused AMD A8 7650K CPU. Im still using it 4 months later AND Overclocked to 4.10GHz from 3.30GHz base. XD
“Do not touch those”
LTT: Didn’t we wash one in the sink before ?
