There's a senior at my school who has a crappy Honda and covered the Honda logo with a Tesla logo. I may take a picture and post it if this comment gets noticed.
When I used to work as a Lube Tech a couple years ago at a dealership. We always had this red challenger with hellcat emblems, similar wheels from a stock hellcat, and all the other parts ranging from the hood, trunk, doors etc. Had us all fooled when he pulled up. Up until we opened the hood to find a 3.6l v6 under all that body. We called it the *HellKitty*
I saw someone that switched the badges but left 1 300 badge on accident. When I mentioned it at the car show he jumped in his car as fast as humanly possible and drove off.
People here are confusing DEbadging with REbadging. Very different things and the latter is lame unless you are rebadging a high tier car to make a sleeper car.
There's a difference between rebadging and just liking a cars body kit You can put a cobra, Shelby or Saleen body kit on an EcoBoost but for the love of all that's good on this earth.. don't put fake badges on your car
DanKorCZ it's horrible. I've seen multiple times where they put shelby badging on the sides of a v6 Or one time this guy had a stripe down the sides saying gt300??? Like what
I know exactly what you mean... I live in the UK where you see M3 and M5 badges on everything that isn't an M3 and M5 and most of the time the real car owners try to be humble and de-badge theirs but these morons think "I can trick people into thinking I have the big money"
That's a terrible idea. The reason Shelbys and Saleens get their name is because of what's under the hood. If you drop the name on a twin turbo 4 cylinder then it defeats the purpose. If you're going to debadge, JUST debadge. Nothing worse than seeing a Roushe body kit on the 3.8L mustang.
I am not rich enough to own a m3 or a m5, i simply got a Corsa OPC (VXR vaxhaul for the brits) best thing is a guy who had a 1.3l DIESEL corsa e and put alllll the OPC trim packs on it, a ridiculous exhaust and a fuckin blow off valve. on 1.3l diesel... and he still tried to race me. I wish i had a dash cam back then
Same for me as well. I was hesitant at first but; now I can wash and wax the boot without having to remove excess dirt and wax from the lettering and giant logo. Plus it looks really clean and stands out too. I’m honest about my G37 not trying to hide anything. I just got to rid of dealer plate frame now but can’t put my stillen one on yet.
I know this v6 mustang owner who was trying to tell me he took out a hellcat. -.- he was claiming since he has a v6 it's lighter thus making it faster. So I challenged him and smoked the shit out of him.
High tier Mustangs, Challengers, Chargers, Camaros, and etc. Debadge their cars to look like a low tier version of it, so they can beat others on the street, and at the same time surprise them.
Lol i saw a M535d. rebadging can mess up some peoples minds and make them think there is such thing of that car. i have a ford fiesta zetec s which is 1 trim level below the ST. it has the same body kit as an ST however it has different wheels which an enthusiast would spot. This is another thing, us car guys dont know every trim levels and specs of cars so debadging can fool some of us
Why does it even matter to you though? Car people should just be happy with what they own. I own a 65 GTO, a 2006 GTO and a Raptor. I never put anybody else down. Why does it matter what anyone else owns? Be happy with your own.
The guy who sold me my Mustang I had back in high school made his GT look like a v6 so he could avoid the extra insurance costs. He was smooth. He covered all the tracks (even added the GT speedometer and all the doo-dads), swapped out the badges and even the stickers that give you info when you open the hood. I had to have a guy check my engine over and some parts, and it was confirmed: My "V6" mustang was a GT and the old owner (a guy in his 70's), wanted cheaper insurance. Boy that was a good surprise.
Auto insurance companies use the data provided by VIN analysis to understand the risk associated with insuring a particular car, pricing policies accordingly.
BigTunaDaBoss I used to own a 97 cobra and ppl would ask is that a real one? Whenever I would pass by on the parking lot...all these fakes are what make the average car guy have to ask that question... Pretty hard to fool a true mustang guy I can tell pretty quickly by looking over the car if it is for real
For Mercedes and BMW cars you just have to look at the exhaust pipes, if it has one or 2 exhaust pipes it's the base model, if it has a quad exhaust it's an AMG or ///M (unless they replaced them of course)
Jacob Burgoni being a sleeper is cool but when you have a higher trim and pretend it’s a lower trim you might get caught immediately because of the noise
@@kumxito219 I have a 2017 Camaro SS. It has the dual-mode exhaust. I still have the "SS" badge on it, in the standard place, but it's not that noticeable as "SS" and not "RS." I have a blue "SS" (matches blue paint) to install in the Spring, while I de-badge the fenders (small red/white/blue w/Camaro underneath), Anyway, my normal troll is: I'm sitting there in one lane at a light, and a Mustang (for instance) pulls up beside me. He revs a couple of times, I change mode to snow/ice - which induces stealth exhaust - and rev a couple times, all wimpy like. I then hit mode once into track mode, and twice on the traction ctl to induce comp mode, and SURPRISE!
Spot on Omni Rider, majority of non-car people don't know or care about trim levels and if kept in good condition the age of the vehicle. So the fake owners in reality are trying to fool the car enthusiasts which usually does not end up well for them.
IScoreUnderPressure4 Ya I agree with this..the problem is the type r Acura Integra is actually a decent car if it's real...but we all know and love are Honda guys right.....
People rebadge cars and it gets lots of attention from ladies. They don’t care what car guys think, unless they’re interested in men. They’re the ones laughing.
So you guys are familiar with the "m" badge from BMW right? Well I once saw someone who had one of these on his car. The thing is, it wasn't even an BMW. It was a Opel Corsa. Like that wasn't enough the emblem had been put on upside down. So basically it was an "w" badge. lol
I saw a 2010 Merces Benz C-Class. It was a W204 C300 4Matic to be exact. Now the owner had faked the emblems, and turned into a C63S. Now keep in mind, the 'S' trim doesn't even exist for the year of his C-class. Not only that he faked it, but he also put a trim that doesn't exist.
It's not a muscle car by what you guys are saying first of all Corvettes aren't muscle cars they're sports cars. Secondly camaros are pony cars not muscle cars.
Apologies in advance, for some reason my camera would not focus. Also, please share this to friends that would gladly join us in face-palming whenever we see phonies at car shows/meets.
I once went to a car show, and there was an Audi RS5, and he removed the "R" from it so it looked like a normal s5... A base model 2014 C7 corvette had the balls to challenge him at a stop light when exiting the car show. Light turns green, R"S5" leaves the Corvette's ego in a cloud of dust.
Well said! I owned a V6 Mustang before and eventually upgraded to a V8. I know the feeling of wishing you had the V8, but the worst thing to see is someone with an over equipped V6. Just tint your V6 and keep it clean at all times. You'll get more respect in the car community for that alone.
On some Mustangs, you can tell what the engine is by the number of exhaust pipes, because the V6 has one pipe in the rear, the V8 has two pipes in the rear, and the Gt350/500 have quad. Unless they are modified like Bladed Angel's.
I had a debadged S5 and before that a DTM 220 Audi A4 (would have been badged S4) both black. It was ace, far more stealth. The few times I got pulled in the S5 the police would say "is it a diesel?" Had it been badged "S5" they would no doubt given me a ticket.
Not a Mustang, but I own a completely debadged Cobalt SS Supercharged and I get so sick of people having either SS badges or SS front bumpers on base models. I almost want to put my door badges back on just to make mine not look like every other Cobalt. It is funny to toy with them because they don't expect mine to be a real SS when they pull up next to me lol
.....buddy some SS cobalts were literally just appearance packages. So some of those cobalts just came that way. Of course when they line up beside you or my buddies 09 TC Cobalt SS they get dusted. Totally unrelated but i took my camaros SS badges off and tossed them in the trash. I was removing all emblems and molding to make it cleaner. I hate seeing v6s with SS or Z28 badges...especially from wrong generations of the car.
Andrew Armstrong I have a built 2.4 SS and kids with SS badges always try and call me out when I’ve spent well over what they probably paid for the whole car just under the hood.
I changed the badges on my car to better looking ones, for example my RT challenger has a 5.7L hemi but the badge on the side just says “Hemi”, I bought a badge on amazon that says “5.7L hemi” cause it looked cool. I put the RT badge on the spoiler, and took the non cursive Challenger logo out of the grille and put in a cursive logo.
I debaged my formula firebird to give it a sleeper look for any unsuspecting mustangs that wanted to dig. The only give aways are the six speed transmission badge and gaugecluster inside. The exhaust is super quiet for a bored and stroked lt1
I always wanted a Formula, because, with its low wing and lack of ground effects, it looks like a base model (V6 or 305) once you take off the badges & decals. I stripped the decals off my '87 IROC, and it looked much better in solid blue. I also debadged my '86 Buick GN, to surprise Mustangs & Camaros.
Some of this is really stupid because you can get a much higher trim/spec level for cheaper, depending on the condition and aspects of a vehicle :) I don’t know why people care too much, love and appreciate what you have, don’t try to make your car something it’s not.
Well I pull into a gas station to fill up when this 2002 v6 Parked next to me to fill up as well, it was body modded, had a nice gloss black with GT rims but I got disgusted with the SVT badges (clearly with the wrong font) he picked up at autozone and slapped together so whe he got back to his car from being in the station I give him a sarcastic “compliment” I asked him to start it and rev it (he did) he only modded the muffler so I laughed and walked off to mine, Nice car too bad it was trying to be something it’s not, I worked my ass off to get my 2013 mustang v6 premium and I’m proud, eventually I will get a Shelby until then it’s my v6 and I’m giving her all the love I can give her.
Debadging is okay since it can give a cleaner look, but rebadging something that it is not is not okay. I think the only exception I can think is rebadging an FR-S with Toyota logos, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe emblem, and Kia with the new Kia logo.
I totally agree with you. I don't understand why people can't just be proud of what they have and make the most of it, rather than try to make it into something it's not. It would be alot better if they can just build on their strength and not try to compensate for their weaknesses. I own a 2012 Ford Mustang V6 and I love it, so seeing someone blatantly slapping a 5.0 badges on it to pose is so stupid, especially sinse the 3.7L Cyclone is arguably the best V6 Mustang ever made.
I've seen so much prejudice if you own a v6 people hold their noses up if you don't own a v8. Instead of just enjoying the comrodery of enjoying cars, each car esp mustangs can be blank canvases to make it what u want that's why mustangs were designed to personalize it to what you want. Thats why there more mustang aft market parts available than any car maker
I have a 2011 GT track pack with a bunch of aftermarket parts, as well as roush quarter window louvers and a roush 7 billet grill to delete the fogs. I think its funny when people ask me what it is, especially mustang owners.. i had to debadge because one of my 5.0 badges was broken and i just haven't decided on what new badges to put there. v6 owners tend to wave more and 5.0 owners tend to wave less i think XD.
or people (like myself) de-badge their vehicles for a cleaner appearance. My truck came with "1500", "hemi", "DODGE" emblems all over the place.. Just some food for thought..people de-badge their vehicles for reasons other than what you mentioned.
I had a friend who came from a very well off family and had an M3. Rebadged it as a 320i cause of people trying to race him all the time. Granted that didn't stop the people from trying to race him, but it did sprout the story of how he got asked about where he got the bodykit to make his car to look so much like an m3. That was a fun time trying to explain to a purist why you would badge your top of the line model as a 320 lol
I say you should just embrace what “status level” you are. Simply because if you want to you can make a v6 mustang have 500 horsepower. Don’t be embarrassed sometimes it’s nice to have the lower end car modify and be able to beat a higher trim car it’s rewarding to be the underdog.
Your right. A lot of people dont know the difference between a base model and the top model of any can manufacture. They see a charger and automatically assume its the top model
I have a new edge Mustang GT with svt cobra rims on it but that's only because i really liked the way they looked. I have the GT badges on it but I don't think messing with the body kit, rims interior makes you a wanna be or fake, but I don't agree with putting fake badges on your car to indicate that it's something it really isn't. I've met v6 owners who have used GT badges and I've met GT owners who use cobra badges. Personally im happy with what i have, I've put alot of money into my GT for performance and its never failed to make me happy.
Hahah i have an audi s3 and ive once put an A3 1.6 badge on the S3 haha But there is a neighbor couple houses further that has an audi A4 b8 2.7 v6 TDI that claims he's having an S4 but its not hahaha i know my s4's he cant fool no me but I haven't told him yet should i call him out for a phony
I dont know why people hating the v6 or the ecoboost. I mean i dont rly care if it has 317hp or 422hp or 600hp. Still can drive only 50km/h (30mph) on the road. i'm more the optic guy than the speed guy. and i kinda prefer the Ecoboost.
I have a 328i and so does someone at my school except they put an m3 badge on it.... it's so obvious and everyone called her out on Snapchat and she got mad and said that "that's how it was when I bought it" well then fix it😂😂😂
The worst is when people buy badges that are the wrong size from the originals or wrong color and still try to play it off. And you made the best point car guys know what's real and normal people don't care either way so just a waste of money you could use on lunch.
2 days ago I was right behind a red G37 base model coupe in my red G37 journey coupe and this dude has Q60 badge in the same spot the originals come in, i have never pulled my phone out for a pic this fast in my life I died when i was right by him at the light he didnt even want to look my way... (side note I debadged my G37 an left a blacked out Infiniti logo for a cleaner look)
But, the first 2 years (2014-15) Q60s were the same as G37s - factory rebadge. How could you tell the difference between the base model & journey? Could you see the (cloth) seats?
I respect individuals who put Fairlady Z badges on their 370 Zs. They are paying tribute to the originals, not pretending their car isn't anything that it isn't. I like people like that. Then theres the Anti Badger. I have no respect for people who put fake badges on their cars.I don't understand why people put fake badges on their cars. You're fooling no one. I once saw a C 250 with an AMG badge that still had the C 250. I have never witnessed such idiocy, such disrespect and I hope I will never witness the likes of which again. What an idiot. The people who put fake badges on their cars are the most cancerous sect of car people. Actually, they shouldn't even be considered car people. By treating their cars with such blatant disrespect, they should be excommunicated from the car community. Half of the people doesn't know a 328i from an M. Then there are car aficionados such as myself who know their stuff and aren't fooled by such shenanigans. So basically slapping fake badges on their cars doesn't do anything but make themselves better. Again, half the people don't care, and the other half (people like me) will crucify you. I would rather be honest about having a C 250 than being fake. If you take any pride in your car, then you WILL NOT put fake badges on your car.
Before I bought my '17 Camaro (SS) I was looking for a G60S AWD, and wanted to re-badge it as G37xS. Not just a tribute, but it's a re-re-badging, since they rebadged it as G60S first!
I owned a ltd edition last batch one color top dog automobile which l did the opposite. I debadge and repainted the car and l removed the CF rear spoiler that came stock to a cheap after market plastic, even the plaque that shows 088/150 l removed all because of theft/vandalism since l daily the car. It is funny coz a lot of the base/normal model owners are trying to make it look like the top dog and here l went for the opposite.
Bro you're in frisco TX I used to live like 5 min from where your video started!! I was freaking out like wait ... I know that area that's 121 and Preston! Lol Random I know.
It's okay to have some simple badges. For example, my '68 302 Mustang has really small. Shelby rim center caps, since I couldn't find anything else that would fit. But I don't go around and say it's a Shelby. They're so small, nobody notices anyways. I just did it as a little nod to Carroll Shelby. Fake badge guys have to know that anybody who will know what that car is will know it's fake and you look gay. I rev battled a V6 Mustang owner claiming it was a GT.350 and I embarrassed him in front of my whole school.
I once met a guy with a turbocharged bmw 328 e36 with a 316i badge, he was having around 350 whp and the car looked totally stock outside. It was very funny seeing him pull on some pretty fast cars
My neighbor has a base variant Hyundai Creta and rebadged it with the highest variant of the car. It is heavily customized too. From tyres to bumpers, from seats to infotainment system. Little did he know that everyone knows that top model Hyundai cars have a rear wiper. (I live in India so in other countries maybe rear wiper is available for lower variants too)
There is an early- to mid-2000s Ford Focus hatchback in town where I live that has all of the "focus" badges removed, and there is now a Nova badge on the rear. Yes, as in the Chevy Nova.
I owned a G37 for 10 years, and the V6 note is very nice. 6th gen Camaro V6 sounds very nice, too. If I'd gotten a RS Camaro, instead of my SS, I would have had an approximation of my G37. It's a 3.6 V6 w/335HP 293TQ and a 8AT Vs 3.7 w/330HP 280TQ and 5AT (yea, I got the only year with 5AT, before they upgraded to 7AT's.)
I once saw someone with what was obviously a Kia Optima, trying to pass it off as a Lexus. They blacked out part of the Kia badge to made the angled L badge you’d see on a Lexus. It was so poorly done and painful to see.
Once you own one of those top end dream cars, it doesn’t really bug you when you see obviously faked upbadged cars. It really doesn’t bother me anymore, I kind of get a kick out of folks that are in effect complimenting your choice of a high end car. At the end of the day someone can put whatever badges they want on a car, it’s when you put the pedal down and put the power to the road that you know what you’ve really got.
I have a V6 mustang and I love it no matter what the exhaust is tricky but I would never pass my car as something better, I simply opted out of the V8 simply for fuel efficiency and still having enough power. I have copied styling cues but the clean debadge is always better looking.
I’ve Debadged my Audi a3 8p I’ve Debadged the a3 2.0tdi and the sline badges from the back and changed the rear rings to black . I’ve changed the grill and grille to honeycomb but I’d never ever stick an rs3 badge on it . It’s blatantly obvious that my car is an a3 . It used to be quite common that people would stick type r badges on their stock civics near me so laughable . One of the worst examples is people sticking a Bentley badge on the Chrysler 300 c you see that very often
I love it when people put lower spec badges on subtle performance cars, like for example I saw the bmw m140i at a car meet, it was debadged and it said 120i on the back, honestly it’s such a sleeper
There’s a v6 mustang for sale by me right now with Cobra badges all over it and GT500 Emblems on interior door trim. Honestly the first upbadged Mustang I’ve seen here. This problem is really prevalent in the Dodge car community though.
They probably debadge their cars because weight reduction bro
Debadging is fine, it even looks clean asf sometimes.
Bladed Angel Well, the badges weigh like a gram or two, but debadging is weight reduction and weight reduction is weight reduction.
Yeah, removing like 0.00000001% of the car’s weight *totally* makes it faster!

There's absolutely nothing wrong with V6s. Dude the Nissan GTR has one
I haVe a Bugatti but put a Civic emblem on it
I'm not sure if this is a joke.
先生CherryPepsi it’s likely that it is.
It's like fake M badges for BMW 🙄
Bryan Reyes i hate that i see one 520 e61 every day next to my school and it has m5 badges
I saw a M550i the other day, must be very high end
Lol i saw a M535d. rebadging can mess up some peoples minds and make them think there is such thing of that car. i have a ford fiesta zetec s which is 1 trim level below the ST. it has the same body kit as an ST however it has different wheels which an enthusiast would spot. This is another thing, us car guys dont know every trim levels and specs of cars so debadging can fool some of us
William Snyder those are real tho
Zain K BMW now offers m package on non traditional m vehicles.
Why does it even matter to you though?
Car people should just be happy with what they own.
I own a 65 GTO, a 2006 GTO and a Raptor. I never put anybody else down. Why does it matter what anyone else owns? Be happy with your own.
Aquilis Blasco it doesn't matter until the person with the knock off starts bragging.
@@Eastsidegeorgiaboy ** START bragging
All my friends call my car "The Porsche" and they 3D printed me a porsche emblem. Its a 03 Chevy Impala lol
Jordan Patin lol wtf
hahaha duude! a friend has a 94 toyota camry and we call it the Ferrari, we even debadged it and put a Ferrari emblem on the hood lol
Omg😂😂😂 same with my car😂 my friends call it the GTR and even bought me a sticker not a badge tho😂 btw it’s a 96 Honda accord
This is funny tho 😂😂 cause it's not even close
Its ur car do wat u want.its called customizing.
I’ve seen this white charger v6 in my area who has a huge Hellcat decal all over the side of his car... I’m like dude... 🤦♂️
Tro 209 I wouldn't be able to call someone out like that aha, I'd feel bad cuz it's obvious they are already insecure about the car.. I just let em be
Kev Dog I won’t say anything either lol. But the guy could at least try harder and put the V8 wheels or something on it 😂
As a hyundai genesis coupe owner, the Hyundai badge is a must go🤷🏻♂️
Jack Mehoff great car but that brand tho 😭
Hyundai is respectable now, imo.
I got a 97 cobra and some dude called me fake, so now I just keep my certificate of authenticy on my windshield
BigTunaDaBoss some guy in a v6 camaro was trying me when I was driving my Terminator my friend started to laugh at him.
BigTunaDaBoss i got a 01 cobra and got called fake as well. cant help but just laugh it off lol
Jorge Alejandro my 2015 g550 has 2 exhaust on both sides
they aren't the "base" models, they are just not the sport versions, a E500 or a 550i are hardly base models but still only have 2 exhaust pipes
What about debadging to make sleepers?
CopyCat Airsoft like a Shelby GT500 trying to be a V6?
troll the taxman too if ya can ;)
Jacob Burgoni that seems fine I think
Jacob Burgoni being a sleeper is cool but when you have a higher trim and pretend it’s a lower trim you might get caught immediately because of the noise
@@kumxito219 I have a 2017 Camaro SS. It has the dual-mode exhaust. I still have the "SS" badge on it, in the standard place, but it's not that noticeable as "SS" and not "RS." I have a blue "SS" (matches blue paint) to install in the Spring, while I de-badge the fenders (small red/white/blue w/Camaro underneath),
Anyway, my normal troll is: I'm sitting there in one lane at a light, and a Mustang (for instance) pulls up beside me. He revs a couple of times, I change mode to snow/ice - which induces stealth exhaust - and rev a couple times, all wimpy like. I then hit mode once into track mode, and twice on the traction ctl to induce comp mode, and SURPRISE!
I bought a '67 mustang fastback shell body. I'm building it as a GT-500 replica, complete with a 428 Cobra Jet.

Spot on Omni Rider, majority of non-car people don't know or care about trim levels and if kept in good condition the age of the vehicle. So the fake owners in reality are trying to fool the car enthusiasts which usually does not end up well for them.
How could you forget about the Honda 'Type R' guys?
IScoreUnderPressure4
Ya I agree with this..the problem is the type r Acura Integra is actually a decent car if it's real...but we all know and love are Honda guys right.....
ThatYellowGT4 lol ive seen a LOT of fd Honda Civics pretending to be Type R's.
Civics is bearable, but type r on citys? Jazz? Uggghh Hell no.
Right those are the most common
Some people convert the old type S Acuras into legit type Rs.

My dad debadged his CTS-V and we just watched muscle car owners cry 😂
TheLegend27 cts v is a muscle car
Yep it has a corvette engine
It's not a muscle car by what you guys are saying first of all Corvettes aren't muscle cars they're sports cars. Secondly camaros are pony cars not muscle cars.
Oh and the technical muscle car era ended in 73 when emissions really kicked in.

I saw a base stock challenger sxt with hellcat badges and a giant hellcat decal on the side with no other exterior mods
n lee but have you seen a base 17 challenger with a demon badge on the side though ?
n lee pitiful
A base Dodge Neon with the SRT4 badge... *cringe*
On some Mustangs, you can tell what the engine is by the number of exhaust pipes, because the V6 has one pipe in the rear, the V8 has two pipes in the rear, and the Gt350/500 have quad. Unless they are modified like Bladed Angel's.
11 and up mustangs have 2 exhaust pipes 🤔🤔
I had a debadged S5 and before that a DTM 220 Audi A4 (would have been badged S4) both black. It was ace, far more stealth. The few times I got pulled in the S5 the police would say "is it a diesel?" Had it been badged "S5" they would no doubt given me a ticket.
My favorite is the allusive BMW "M X5"... that's a weird looking miata
Yung Bet // LiL DiPSTiCK I have seen Bmw x5 with mx5 badge too. How stupid can people be
Not a Mustang, but I own a completely debadged Cobalt SS Supercharged and I get so sick of people having either SS badges or SS front bumpers on base models. I almost want to put my door badges back on just to make mine not look like every other Cobalt. It is funny to toy with them because they don't expect mine to be a real SS when they pull up next to me lol
Andrew Armstrong I actually know a guy who put an ss wing and badges on his base cobalt
.....buddy some SS cobalts were literally just appearance packages.

I’d be that guy who would de-badge a hellcat to make it look like a scat. 🤷🏽♂️
You should put the GT AWD badge on it.
Well this is too relevant for me
"Yeah, this is a GT350!"
Really? Because I swear I hear the word "EcoBoost" flowing out of the exhaust.
"Yeah it's a GT350 EcoBoost."
A guy in my automotive class has a SN95 supercharged Cobra. It's SO clean. He knows every spec of everything on his car too.
0:51 That Jag got cut off harder than Kanye did to Taylor Swift
I totally agree with you. I don't understand why people can't just be proud of what they have and make the most of it, rather than try to make it into something it's not. It would be alot better if they can just build on their strength and not try to compensate for their weaknesses. I own a 2012 Ford Mustang V6 and I love it, so seeing someone blatantly slapping a
5.0 badges on it to pose is so stupid, especially sinse the 3.7L Cyclone is arguably the best V6 Mustang ever made.
What about the famous BMW Not-Really-An-M3-or-M5?
Paul Jr. Harrington You mean the "M520d" ;)
Ash'ab Raja The BMW M520d. The perfect combination between performance (469 horsepower), luxury and gas mileage (42 mpg combined).
lol M320i
I had a friend who came from a very well off family and had an M3.
6:55 "Fool" sounds like when Minecraft Steve gets hit.
LMFAO
I say you should just embrace what “status level” you are. Simply because if you want to you can make a v6 mustang have 500 horsepower. Don’t be embarrassed sometimes it’s nice to have the lower end car modify and be able to beat a higher trim car it’s rewarding to be the underdog.
Removing the trunk letters looks cleaner
Your right. A lot of people dont know the difference between a base model and the top model of any can manufacture. They see a charger and automatically assume its the top model

One time I saw a 3v gen V6 Mustang not only badged as a V8, but as a Coyote V8 rather than the 4.6. It also had a louder exhaust that screamed V6.
Im still keeping my hybrid sticker i stole off a prius on my duramax lol

I've met v6 owners who have used GT badges and I've met GT owners who use cobra badges.
Personally im happy with what i have, I've put alot of money into my GT for performance and its never failed to make me happy.

I dont know why people hating the v6 or the ecoboost. I mean i dont rly care if it has 317hp or 422hp or 600hp. Still can drive only 50km/h (30mph) on the road. i'm more the optic guy than the speed guy. and i kinda prefer the Ecoboost.
I have a 328i and so does someone at my school except they put an m3 badge on it.... it's so obvious and everyone called her out on Snapchat and she got mad and said that "that's how it was when I bought it" well then fix it😂😂😂
THANK YOU! This bugs the hell out of me. Body kits and appearance mods are one thing, rebadging with false nameplates crosses the line.
I ain't go lie I want me a v6 Challenger body with the hellcat engine with no leather interior order from the factory like that😉
The worst is when people buy badges that are the wrong size from the originals or wrong color and still try to play it off. And you made the best point car guys know what's real and normal people don't care either way so just a waste of money you could use on lunch.
*_*Puts A ZL-1 Badge On A V-6 Camaro*_*
Lol
Random I know.
"All non STI Subaru's with a STI badge on it
I once met a guy with a turbocharged bmw 328 e36 with a 316i badge, he was having around 350 whp and the car looked totally stock outside.

(I live in India so in other countries maybe rear wiper is available for lower variants too)
I saw an accord with the wing of a civic and a SI badge.lmao
There is an early- to mid-2000s Ford Focus hatchback in town where I live that has all of the "focus" badges removed, and there is now a Nova badge on the rear. Yes, as in the Chevy Nova.

The Nissan VQ is the only satisfying V6 exhaust note I could honestly think of!!

This is dumb debadging is just to look cleaner no matter what model it is, just dont put fake badges on it
I’ve Debadged my Audi a3 8p I’ve Debadged the a3 2.0tdi and the sline badges from the back and changed the rear rings to black .
