Have you noticed that the bars don't have evenly distributed "squares" (the bar is very tactile!) but has random lines through?! All the "pieces" are different sizes to represent that (as per their own website) "Things aren't being shared evenly in the chocolate supply chain" ❤❤❤ Hope you enjoyed it! I got a subscription box from a company called A Short Story. They curate items for women 5'3 and under and send you items based off your needs. I always have to go to the tailors and it was so nice to get pants that automatically fit like a glove. Would love to see you make a video on it and try it out yourself in the new year! 😊
I love how thoughtful all the gifts Molly gets and receives are. You can tell she really inspires the people in her life to go all out in gifting as well or maybe they all just share the same love language haha. The suncatcher your boyfriend got you is so pretty!!! I used to have one similar to that when I was younger and I have no idea what happened to it but it created the prettiest lights on my wall and my cat had a blast chasing the lights around (I recommend you hang it up in BC so Lavender can enjoy it). Also I have that same pepper spray and I was scared to own it at first because I thought I would accidentally spray myself or someone else but it's actually pretty secure. The bit that you press down on to spray it stays in the lock unless you move it so you don't need to worry about accidentally spraying yourself. Also, it's easy to tell which way to spray because it's just the opposite direction as the button which is nice because I've definitely sprayed myself in the eye from some things before that had ambiguous handles. I totally get what you mean about wanting eye patches and masks and stuff but feeling like they're wasteful. I get told I have dark circles all the time and I would love to use masks but I feel like one use products are so bad for the environment. Those eye patches might be something I'd actually try out. Even if you don't put a serum on them, I think popping them in the fridge for a little while before putting them under your eyes could feel super nice!
I am so excited, to sit down and watch this, a happy new your to you all, and Molly thank you for being the highlight and bright light in my life this year, getting me through the hard stuff and helping me focus on positivity (no pun intended, but it does work as my sight right now is mostly light perception and some colors, but more dark and light then colorful, so hahah maybe it's a pun, it works anyway) ❤

Or do you have a general idea based on what you asked for? Maybe you could film your bday stuff? Or if you don’t like the idea of filming opening gifts (bc plenty of people don’t like that pressure) maybe you could do a video explaining the process!

You might be more comfortable with the Bling Sting studded pepper stray. I have the gold one and I feel very confident I could use it without looking at it because of how tactile it is. It comes in silver too. It reminds me of a fancy but oversized lipstick.
How do you choose socks from the drawer, I know you know your clothes from touch.. but with Socks... I'm guessing they feel the same for white and Black... Very curious how you Solve that:)
Different brands feel different, but an easy fix would be just getting one color for all, or a different color per length, but that would mean many boring socks in the same color, to be honest for me personally having many colored socks would be a nightmare, especially those would be from the same brand meaning they feel the same apart from length, so I just have all black ankle socks and my longer socks have more colors but they are different brands per pair (also you can feel the tactile differences of certain materials like a sport sock or a knitted one, also those with a print have more of an inside texture) so feeling around matching textures and the elements that make them tactilely different, and their are also apps that say what color thing are, you do need to be in good lighting for that, and also usually when socks come from the wash they are together, so the other sock is probably in the pile, and when I have socks that feel 100 percent the same and that have different colors I put them away in the sock drawer in a specific place, so that I remember, but most don't feel the same as the weight, size or texture feels still different when folded, also when I do wear two different sock I will just say it's a fashion statement, as many sighted people do it as well, (:
yeah I learned the hard way that pepper spray is illegal in canada while traveling home back to the US and forgot that I kept one in the bottom of my suitcase. I brought it in but couldnt bring it home. Thankfully, Canadian TSA was very nice and I was like just chunk it its fine and I got to go home no issues.
My best gift so far is the trip we took to Peru to enjoy Christmas and New Year with family. We do not have all the money to purchase all the material gifts that we like, but the experience and love we have received it’s worth a 1000 material ones. Happy Holidays!
