I’ve been living with depression for so long, and it’s so hard for me to put effort into my outfits because I just want to be comfortable. This video is so helpful!! Thank you so much Molly 🥲
Thank you so much for talking about weight fluctuations so casually! It really helps to normalize it and is so nice to hear. As a Floridian, I'd love to see a video about outfits based around layering for quickly adapting to heat and cold! (Edited for spelling)
$12 Jockey anti-chafing shorts from Target. Literally transformed my comfort levels - I’ve always found dresses more comfortable but hated the chafing feel. I can wear dresses confidently again and it’s marvelous!
this hair color is perfect molly. the tips are perfect too, trousers are so much comfortable than any other pants, I don’t know why more people wear them
I love when you make these videos. I’m finally in a place where I feel confident to wear clothes I only ever dreamed of wearing and it’s been so exciting to explore my style. These videos help me as someone who knows absolutely nothing about how to put an outfit together. I’m so proud of some of the outfits I’ve worn lately & your inspo videos have really helped me!
I’d love it if you could show the outfits the whole time as you were talking about them. My memory isn’t the best so it was a little hard to remember the whole outfit, plus it would be quite nice to visually see it while it is being talked about🩷 Love the tips though, as a girlie who loves comfy clothing but struggle to find nice outfits as a plus size girlie, and mostly wear sweats lol.
Love these outfit ideas!!! I’m the same way lately- comfy only!!! I love wearing loose sundresses and tshirt dresses in the summer too!!! So cute but so comfy :)
Hi Molly! I also have IBS and I can't wear any kind of pant due to bloating. I live in dresses. They are really hard to find in my size. Thread-Up, for example, does not carry anything larger than an XL. In fact, try finding them in a thrift store or online. I am convinced that women who wear Plus sizes do not want to give up their clothing because they know they won't be able to find replacements. Yes, I could get some really uncomfortable chinese made polyester mumus...but I am not going to.
Yes, I’ve been waiting for this video to come out ever since you mentioned the idea! Thanks for all the tips! One note I’d give is it would’ve been helpful to show Molly in her full outfit the whole time for each one so that it’s easier to understand and see what she was talking about. I had to keep rewinding to look at each piece she was referring to.
Ever since the pandemic I refuse to wear tight pants no thanks haha. I love a good mom jean, the dressier looking joggers, loose wide legged pants, skirts or dresses. I loooove Uniqlo they have the best nice and comfy clothes. Sometimes I’m like I workout just to wear comfy clothing haha. Ps. Uniqlo has a great dupe for the pleated pants for $40
I love your style! This video has been really helpful! I've been working on figuring out what I like to wear in my 20s, vs the flannel obsession of my teen years lol
I wear a bralette and im naturally very well endowed. It looks fine. Who "must" wear a bra? If i dont need to, nobody does 😅. I wear my bralettes with all shirts. Button type shirts are the only ones that dont look great so...i dont wear the button type shirts!
Thank you for our special Molly on the runway video. I really like the black jacket. When I was in the workplace and had to look presentable; I would wear a blazer and it was great because it had pockets. I love pockets! Much love!
My personal go-to for comfort and looking good, especially in summer, is a dress. It's quick, I don't have to think much, and I just throw on sandals and go. Also, latex clothing would be a verrrrry different video. :)
You have totally changed how I dressed since I started following you! Thanks for advocating comfy and cute. Also, your bangs look great! Do you have a bang routine?
As a European living in the USA I really appreciate this video! It’s crazy to me seeing people walk around in pjamas 😅 You can really dress up and still feel super comfy, put a little love and effort in yourself, makes you feel 100% better 🥰 Loved the jeans with the cute anthropology flower top fit, that top ommgggggg I 😍
Don't judge! It could be they are ill or have depression or other issues. I just had surgery and can't wear regular clothes but i still have to go places, so I wear big t shirt and sweatpants. I hope people aren't judging me.
I had to wear sweatpants and big comfortable tops for months after having surgery. I had a chest tube in my side that was there to drain excess fluids after suffering pneumonia. I didn't want people to see the tube and I couldn't wear a bra over the top of it. Should i have dressed upto escape your judgment? Life is hard enough as it is without having someone silently judging your attire. I don’t think I have ever seen anyone wearing "pajamas" in public and I'm an American. We might wear comfortable leisure clothes, but pajamas? No. Maybe you are comfortable playing dress-up, but I have never found formal clothing or even business clothing to be comfortable. It just isn't. One day you may have a health problem, or you might get depressed, or a million other things could happen that will make you appreciate comfortable leisure wear and the fact that Americans aren't stuffy busy bodies who judge others for what they wear.

Hi I'm new here! I'm so sorry if this is insensitive or if you've already answered this but I have questions! How do you decide if something is cute or will "turn heads" if you don't see your outfits? You obviously have great style though, so I'm interested to know how this works for you! You said "I'm obsessed with the colors." How do you see the colors? How do you know what goes well together or what colors you like? Please help an ignorant person understand, thank you!
I just realized I saw one of those onesies at dicks sporting goods and thought it looked really cozy and looked like something molly would wear. Then after watching this video, I looked online for the onesie and saw it was the same one I saw in store. Now I really want one 😂
For my fellow sweaty people: I can NOT stress enough how much avoiding polyester will change your life!!! Like, anything 100% polyester don’t even consider putting on your body I couldn’t figure out why I was getting awful BO in a bunch of new clothes I got, then I checked the tags. I’d bought a lot of basics second hand that were brands like shein, I don’t care about brand names and figured it’s a good ethical way of getting cheap clothes. Didn’t even think about the type of fabric (my big mistake) But oh my god the smell, it’s not even just the extra sweating but the BO is so bad and the smell won’t come out even after soaking Also if you’re naturally sweaty you’re already more prone to stuff like athletes foot, yeast infections etc and polyester makes that risk a lot higher Stay dry and smelling good pals!!
Love you Molly you are best taste in fashion and amazing incredible and love fashion brands you get too 🩵💛💛💛🌞🏝️⛱️🏝️🩵🩵💛🌊💛🩵🏝️⛱️⛱️⛱️🌞🩵🩵💛🌊💛🩵🏝️⛱️⛱️⛱️🏝️🌞🩵💛🌊🌊💛🩵🏝️🏝️⛱️⛱️🏝️🌞🩵🌊🌊🩵🩵🌞⛱️⛱️🏝️🩵💛💛🌊🌊🌊🩵🌞🏝️
i have IBS as well and struggle to find outfits besides dresses which are comfortable. even just loose pants with a band around my stomach is unbearable.
I have autism and disabled. And I stopped wearing a bra (even with larger breasts) I don’t care what people think I look like . I do wear a tank top just for that protection
I only wear flats, I don't need the height at all, so platforms don't attract me all that much. They would make me look super tall, and since I look like I am over 6 feet tall, I don't need to be making myself look taller (FYI: I am 5'7 3/4". When I tell people I am 5'7" they argue with me so now I add the 3/4" as to not have to argue). As women, we don't have to wear ultra-fashionable stiletto heels to look professional. I personally don't think it gives off a vibe of professionalism in any circumstance. It looks like you could take a huge fall at any moment to me, which doesn't say professionalism. The damage women who wear them do to their feet is unimaginable. Those pleated pants with a business suit and shirt could totally look professional, and your go-to chunky black dress shoe would make a cool, creative power statement. So maybe not the sweater with those pants, but definitely those pants with a power shirt and jacket. The green dress you wore for summer, I would wear that with a pair of leggings. I can't stand a dress without leggings/pants under it. There again, a chunky sneaker or a cool one either way and it would be super cute. Instead of jeans, I love some cargo pants. I like the convenience of the pockets. They can come in so many formats too. Since I design and make all of my clothes, I put in that elasticized waist with a drawstring for adjustability and comfort. At this point, I am redoing my entire wardrobe from the ground up, and everything thus far is cotton, but later I want to add some Merino wool fabrics for tops and possibly a pant or two. I am also adding some jumper dresses. So a very simple line dress that can be worn over a pair of leggings. Then, either way, some sleeved jackets and some sleeveless jackets/vests that are creative and fun, but with a seriousness about them. I generally start with plain white fabric, so I can dye each piece to the color I want it. Every piece will match every other piece because that way, it should make deciding easier, and also less of a need to keep getting more. Then I will be adding in some cargo, which might be done in a jean fabric, and then some in lighter-weight pants. Honestly, They will be similar to my dress pants that will just be casually down with pockets and such. If you do it right you never need to wear your athletic wear outside of the gym. Your go-to office wear will feel as comfortable as sweats. And let's face it we don't feel as good when dressed in sweats as we do in a super cute outfit, nobody needs to know it is just as comfortable as any pair of sweats. *** So if you pick out a base color for your wardrobe and then you find two or three colors that match it and match each other and a color that is a pop color like a bright pink that can be put your other colors, then only buy things that fall into those categories, you will be able to put a full wardrobe that is super useable. Most people think they have to start with black. I started with turquoise, and then royal blue and peacock blues, with that hot pink or bright coral pink for pops of color. This way, you don't need as many pieces to be able to look awesome and fresh all the time. My casual pants pieces will be on the same basis too. The difference is that I have the freedom to design it all, but if you find colors that are in style or were last year so there are a ton of them on Thread up, then just build it from there. It might take you a little longer to put it together... Well, I do have to sew mine, so maybe not.
I hate wearing uncomfortable clothes. Why hurt yourself? Why have aching feet or marks on your belly from still, tight jeans? Nope. Stretch denim, knits, natural fibers that breathe, arch support etc.. is the goal
I respectfully disagree about natural materials. Synthetic fibre feels so much more comfortable for me, because it seems to regulate my temperature much more effectively. Keeps me warm on cold days, but cool on hot days. Wool is nice and warm but it often itches. Cotton is warm until I start sweating, then it absorbs and retains the sweat and I'm cold and shivering the rest of the day. I will only wear wool or cotton as a top layer over something synthetic. Really love the colourful look of that first sweater ❤ And I agree dresses can be very comfortable to wear and look great at the same time!
That's interesting. For me it's the opposite. With a few exceptions, I'm natural fibers all the day. Specially cotton. Mind you, I'm not a sweaty person. When I'm hot I get really red and congested and also get chills and I sneeze. Cotton works wonderfully for me. I also like linen a lot. But those wrinkles are a pain in the ass. Synthetic fibers, for the most part exacerbate my sensory issues since I have MS.
Goddess molly you look amazing you are an gorgeous fashion taste you could make a bin bag covered in dog poop look fashionable you are beautiful in everything you wear love you so much beautiful outfits
Just so you know Molly, the fat acceptance would accuse you of fatphobia because you buy clothes in bigger sizes. I don't agree with that, btw, so it's refreshing to hear something so normal. Thanks for the tips too, very helpful!!
...No? I think you're thinking of when people buy things in a way larger size to tailor them down to fit them more (like, not a couple sizes larger that need some tweaks but way big for them) which in some cases can put pressure on more limited supplies depending on where it's being bought from. Molly buys these things to wear them as is because that's what she finds comfortable or stylish, there's nothing wrong with that. In fact I was thinking in some cases, some brands would see that as higher demand and produce more, as much as fast fashion can be detrimental and all.
Wasn’t a diss on Molly I don’t think there’s anything wrong with any of that. You can buy whatever you want with your own money lol. There are definitely people in the FA community who have a problem with that though.
@@mhirhcp I'm sure there are, as there is almost anything on the internet, but I wouldn't think it's so major in the body positivity movement to warrant mentioning it unprompted and implying the movement doesn't say normal things about clothes
I’ve been living with depression for so long, and it’s so hard for me to put effort into my outfits because I just want to be comfortable. This video is so helpful!! Thank you so much Molly 🥲

Yes! Jockey slip shorts are life! 😄
Gonna need to get myself a pair of those
I needed this. I’m in my late 20’s and rebuke the tight, form fitting attire I wore in my early years. I’m all about comfort. That’s it now 😂.
The rose tank top & paper bag jeans are sooooo cute! The color compliments your skin tone beautifully
Side note: Ah Molly your hair is the best version of blonde you've ever had! love!!! Your makeup is also super nice and neural here, cute!

Totally agree on the bralette, I don’t think I’ve worn a regular bra in over a year at this point.
When I was a kid, in the 70s, we had skorts. My Mom made a lot of my clothes and these were perfect for a kid.
They still have them! I bought some on amazon!
I love this video! Thanks for sharing your fashion taste and tips! I am working on a self made wardrobe and often get stuck on what to wear.

Molly what size do you where in the hot shot jumpsuit!! I think I need to get one but idk what size to go for
for the wool jumper, is it fully wool, because I need a way to combat the itch that wool causes
Where is the white pleated skirt from? I don’t think she mentioned it I’ve been looking for a pleated skirt like that and I can’t find them

The older I get the more I just want to be comfortable but dress up cute.
Do you have any Shayne Dawson merch from the last time you did a collab with him??
Shayne Dawson is a gross human and a child predator. I hope she's washed her hands of him.

@@mhirhcp Really? I don't think so and I've never met anyone who does
@@blazelightshine2311 well idk where on the internet are you but there definitely are people like that
@@mhirhcp I'm sure there are, as there is almost anything on the internet, but I wouldn't think it's so major in the body positivity movement to warrant mentioning it unprompted and implying the movement doesn't say normal things about clothes
Molly, with all due respect, but the black pants with the sweater makes you look shorter.
I’m sorry but that sweater isn’t for me
