I’m so excited to see some more comfy outfits. I’m physically disabled due to chronic pain and basically live in sweats and pajamas. I always get nervous when I have to wear something nice 😅
chinese characters are actually used in japanese writing! japanese has two major writing systems and one of them, kanji, is adapted from chinese characters, many of them being identical
There's actually three main alphabets, kanji, hiragana, and katagana

Molly, I have one of the hair glue sticks - it’s so helpful for taming the baby hair frizz. I bought it from Amazon for about $10 (it’s called a “utena matomage hair styling stick”)
Molly, I love all the items you bought especially that white summer dress! I would suggest that you please not wear it to your brother’s wedding, or any of the other wedding festivities without asking your brother’s fiancée first since wearing a white dress to any wedding adjacent activity can be considered offensive if you are not the bride.

She said she had an outfit for the ACTUAL wedding, but she planned to wear the white dress AROUND the wedding.
Nixi Bixi, you are correct that I did hear her say that she has another dress picked out for the actual wedding, but it is still considered disrespectful to wear white to any event around the wedding such a bridal shower or rehearsal dinner.
Lauren Elizabeth, I wanted to be as respectful as possible. I think Molly has the best of intentions, I just know what it feels like to be the bride who had a family member of the groom show up in a white dress on my wedding day.

Fantastic haul! Actually I admire Molly for keeping the haul relatively contained. When I visited Japan years back I had to buy a backpack to stuff all "the extras" into! Oh and I had forgotten about that 10% discount. My time in Japan was my best vacation ever, the people, the food, the environment and of course the shopping; all was stellar and memorable.

I love your enthusiasm! Even though I'm not particularly interested in fashion (I've been a subscriber more for the accessibility & disabled community content), it made even me want to go for a shopping spree if I ever to go to Japan! Guess I'll have to consider myself lucky that it's very unlikely Japanese stores will carry my size after all.
Molly, I am so happy to see that you enjoyed shopping in Tokyo as much as I did while I was there! 💗 As a fellow petite woman, it was much easier to find clothing that properly fit me sans having to be altered. 💞
The saddest part of my Japan trip was trying to find clothes (and shoes!!!) to fit me. I'm SOOOOOOO jealous of all your purchases!!! The best I could do was the SINGULAR Kimono they had in my size and "oversized" tees from museums and gift shops. Nothing girlie at all😞
I'm a 5'11" girl with size 10 shoes, long legs, a fairly long torso and (currently, not at the time) thick thighs that would definitely end lives, not save them🤣
So naturally, Japan was not very me-friendly for clothes. But I knew immediately when you wanted to shop that you would be very excited and happy at the sizing there as it is more friendly towards petite girlies!🧡

Molly, I'm so happy that you got to experience your big dream of going to Japan. How wonderful that you got to share it with your mom. You both looked like you were having the time of your life. For me, I've never really ever had a desire to see Japan, but I have to say the pure joy both you and your mom exude has changed my mind. You are 1 of 4 or 5 content creators that have been touring Japan this past couple of months. I'm curious, is Japan pushing for more tourism right now? I'm absolutely floored by how clean and beautiful the country is. Also, how welcoming and kind the residence are. Anyway, loved your videos and maybe now I'll see Japan in person someday. japan just opened up after covid regulations this year, so it’s the first time you’re able to visit in quite a while, which is why a lot of people are visiting rn :)

You use the same sound for your intro as a channel I used to watch when I was younger. It was called Vet Ranch, idk what they’re doing know but that channel has special a place in my childhood heart. I think if it every time I hear that sound❤

YESSSS to cute and comfy outfits! I struggle finding stuff, and don’t feel like I really have a style. I love wearing sweats and hoodies (always have) but it can sometimes look a little «eh» on me. I love wrap dresses cause it’s a full outfi,but it’s also comfortable and doesn’t squeeze my tummy. Because of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis I’ll bloat, and tight clothing will give me more pain (not always luckily) which is a shame cause I love skinny jeans and can’t really find loose jeans that look «cool» on me (I’m curvy/plus size).

I'm not super interested in the japanese culture but I would love to eat sushi there and I would love to shop there. I used this older Issey Miyaki perfume that's called l'eau, I just love it.
Hair wax is a more common product in North America and it sounds pretty similar to what Molly is using! It’s like a glue stick for your hair

Interesting that a chinese brand is called staccato, I remember that word from music lessons (it means quick tempo, which is a fun name for a shoe brand) so maybe italian, maybe latin? Im not sure 😅

i wear japanese lolita fashion!! the brand i own the most of is probably Angelic Pretty, but i adore Metamorphose Temps De Fille - unlike most lolita brands, they're really size inclusive! going to tokyo next week and can't wait to shop for secondhand dresses 👀💕

@@rachelcookie321 there's probably other places too, but the most known is closetchild! they have an online store as well, but there's also multiple physical stores in japan ^-^ i prefer looking at things in person, so it's definitely exciting!
