I think alot of elden rings lore isn't left to interpretation, you know what you have to do and then you can kill all or just some of those things.
Though there's some unanswered question( what's happened to miquella, what's melina's whole deal) you can find info in game to get os vague hints and its not as open ended as alot of the bloodborne questions
