@@caravansbythecampfire I think weight is the only issue with the titanium vans. My off road van now comes in at 2810 kgs ( 20.8 ft ) empty which is about the max I’d go towing with a LC200. I love the look and features on the titanium but the same size van would be over 3000 kgs and I love my 200 to much to get rid of and not keen on going a US tow vehicle.

@@GrantBennett-vb2nk a lot of bigger fitted out vans appear to come in around the 2700-2850 amount now. Fill up the water and basics and you heading towards 3.3-4 easily. I won’t tow anything heavier than my car (200 series 3.3t) just feels comfortable and under control.

@@GrantBennett-vb2nkthere are loads of changes you can make to these vans that allow them to carry lighter. Titanium won’t allow you to leave being over weight. We have a lc200 and tow a titanium. We haven’t got a gcm as we are strategic about what we carry, where and when. We travel full time and it’s been a learning curve but it’s doable in a non American truck 🙌🏼 you just gotta be nifty with things. 🎉

Interesting walk through Craig. We looked at the Vision RV hybrid van all composite and alloy cabinetry.

Would you? Can you compare a factory tour at ZoneRV. I think the materials, design and manufacturing processes are poles apart. Like Austin A40 to Ineos Grenadier. My personal opinion based on years of owning 3 caravans from different eras and watching what ZoneRV does versus the rest.

@@caravansbythecampfire I love your channel because your point of difference is reviewing vans from different manufacturers. If you can continue that point of difference by reviewing manufacturing methods, materials and design that's the type of 'behind the scenes' info that some buyers, like me, want to see. Some will, some won't, so what, but you can maintain some interest. When I watched your earlier caravan comparisons I bet you would buy the ZoneRV. In any case quality never goes out of fashion because 'poor man pays twice'. ZoneRV is my current choice for when I sell my home, hook up and head off into the sunset, but I'm always open to learn more and be persuaded there's a better product. Just have seen one yet except maybe Bruder?

We are getting into more hybrids soon, the issue is getting them to review in the first place - most manufacturers are reluctant to lend us a van to review so we have e to find them on platforms like Camplify etc. The brand names are particularly hard to secure. We will keep trying!!
