A tip for everyone, add kymmentä to the end of a number and it will be tenth version of set number. So like 21 is kaksikymmentäyksi and 31 would be kolmekymmentäyksi. And so fourth until 99, which is yhdeksänkymmentäyhdeksän. I don’t really know the short versions of the numbers. You have to wait for Kat’s next video to learn those. You can press her subscribe button, so you won’t miss it. #freeadvertisment
Brilliant, Katja! This is one of your BEST lessons, immediate thumbs up by 2:48 minute mark. Bookmark and playlist this one, everybody, for sure. The editing is so tight and effective that you will notice how she speeds up pretty much at exactly the same time YOU do, when you are thinking "Damn, this is pretty easy!" LOL no, it's not, but Katchats Finnish makes it SOUND easy. Thanks!
That's lovely..thank you so much..No many words to describe how amazing you are !! I'm learning some Finnish slowly slowly.. because of you.. your way is amazing and very helpful and very funny at the same time which makes it awesome!❤️ Thanks
Even though I already know how to count, still thank you a lot 🙏🏻♥️ I like the way you pronounce words! And I appreciate you added puhekieli version too! Wanted to ask if you'll continue to make videos about finnish cases? I'm getting a little lost there and nobody makes it as clear and simple as you 😅
Hello, Katja! I wonder if you could tell us something about approach to women in Finnish society. I heard two opposite opinions about it. First says that women have strong position due to the cult of female gods and the role of mother in family, but the other - that there is a significant and unfortunately wide accepted violence against women in Finland. Well, is the truth as always in the middle? What do you personally think? I’ve got another question related to the above: what older women do in your country when they’re retired/in their free time?;-) I’m curious about it, because I know that Finns appreciate their privacy and generally don’t flaunt their private affairs - unlike e.g. many Poles, who like to have chit chats and gossip with friends and - I think - it deepens with age;)That’s why it is the most popular sight of older people in my mother country :D I greet warmly from Poland! Love to watch your movies and learn Finnish pronunciation!

Imagine realizing there's a short version of numbers after living here for 4 years -_- (That's what happens to me a few months ago)
Haha, how do you like it in Finland?
@@farouq7107 I really like it...but It's not for everyone! There are some huge challenges to overcome!
I'd get short of breath practicing saying the numbers. Such a relief to find the shorter version.

Since Finnish is a perfect phonetic language (unlike English, French and German), it's simply pronounced as it is written!
And I thought 0-9 was hard ...
It feels so weird to watch this as an fin🤣, anyways good video
I bet hahahah xD Kiitos :)
