Full HD 60FPS: NJ Transit Yard Job YL-54 Drills in Bay Head Yard with NJT GP40-2 4303 5/23/24

In this video, NJ Transit yard job YL-54 drills cars in Bay Head Yard on the North Jersey Coast Line. The YL-54 is a new job effective with the May 19, 2024 rollover. There are now two Long Branch yard jobs working at least five nights a week, with the other being YL-52. The YL-54 crew goes on duty in the late afternoon and has been responsible for drilling Bay Head on most nights, at least at the time of this writing. With this new system MMC jobs, such as MM-08, ferry shops from Long Branch and leave good equipment behind. The yard jobs take care of all the drilling. This night’s YL-54 engine is NJTR GP40-2 4303 (née NYC/PC/CR GP40 3008).
