Got 20hours with the new Viper V3 and it’s giving my GPX1 and OP1 8K AND wlmouse beast x a run for their money. New main mouse. Only issue is the somewhat squishy side buttons but still better than the GPX by a long shot
Absolutely love this mouse. Had GPX the last 4 years and always had that feeling it could be just a bit better. This is my endgame. The 8k polling is actuallly noticeably smoother too imo. Haven't tried 4k vs 8k, they're probably the same, but vs 1k it's definitely noticeable. The coating is perfect on the black one. And the stock glide is better than a GPX with new skates. Absolute perfect mouse imo.
Would you know a mouse that is exactly similar to the Razer Viper V3 pro but just has a better hump in the back for palm support? Dont say the g pro super light lol
Always went back to superlight because of the neutral shape but never can consistently grip it the same. Tried the v2 pro and liked the taper at the front but hump was a bit small making me inconsistent with aim. Of course the deathadder was difficult for consistent grip and left flicks for me. Finally a mouse for me when I tried this one. Basically a superlight shape with hump moved forward and a wider taper at the front, was just what I needed to have a consistent grip and be able to flick left and right.
Lamzu maya is amazing but a hit too small for me. Do you think the viper v3 would fill up the middle back area of my palm more? I just need something slightly fatter taller and wider but not too much
Viper V3 Pro or Deathadder V3 Pro for a 19.2x9.8 hand, claw grip variation? Absolutely confused which to get and need to upgrade from Glorious Model O.
Hello! I watched the review of the disassembly of the Razer Viper V3 Pro. Inside is installed a TTC Blue wheel encoder. Please tell me how good is the TTC Blue in the Razer Viper V3 Pro? I have read many reviews that different Razer mice often break the wheel when scrolling.
Thanks man, I was waiting for your review of this mouse. I have 2 questions for you if you don’t mind. I heard you mention that you would replace the stock skates. Do you have any recommendations for 100% virgin ptfe after market skates? Also, you mentioned that this will be your new gold standard for gaming mice moving forward. Will this be your new main for now? I know you have been maining the maya and I’m curious if this will take your top spot. Thanks for all the work you put into these videos. Your production value is great. I especially appreciate the comparisons to other mouse shapes. I liked the music choice as well for the B roll. I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and I’m looking forward to your next video.
Thank you for the kind words. I will be getting corepads for mine. Not sure if this will replace my Maya as for now but it is main worthy. I typically always go back to smaller mice personally.
I also have been using the Maya and just picked up the V3pro. In my opinion, these mice feel incredibly similar in terms of shape. The v3pro feels like a larger, slightly more rigid version of the Maya. If you like the Maya but want a bigger mouse, the V3pro would be a great pickup. The biggest difference other than shape/size is going to be the switches. Personally, I like the mechinacl feeling of the Maya switches better, but the opticals on the V3pro still feel great. I've got both on my desk still, and have found that while gaming I have really been enjoying the V3pro, but while working or doing other tasks on the PC I have preferred the smaller size of the Maya. I've got really small hands and thought that the V3pro was going to be too large for me (I couldn't hold the V2pro at all), but it actually fits great. The Maya fits more comfortable in my hands, which is why I prefer the dexterity for productivity work, but the V3pro has a very deliberate, locked in feeling that I really enjoy while aiming and shooting in game. I think if Razer were to release a scaled down version of the V3pro, that would probably be an endgame mouse for me. In the meantime, I'll probably be keeping both the V3pronand the Maya on my desk.
I have the white gpx1, and the coating is a bit too slippery for me, but the lamzu Atlantis mini on that other hand, the black 4k version, has the perfect coating, and it’s just always grippy. So, how does the coating compare to the lamzu and gpx?
I like that chalky Lamzu coating but I’m guessing you have a 1:1 “stain” of your finger on your mouse buttons like me that you just can’t buff out. That’s the only thing I don’t like about it.
How is the click latency for 2K/4K on V3 Pro somehow worse than 1K? I only ask because I’ve been using 2K as it doesn’t cause stutters like 4K/8K and was under the assumption that it’d have lower latency than 1K?
What would you replace the skates with if you had to do so? I couldn't find any after-market skates for this so I've been a bit stumped, since I use a glass pad.

I came from the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro and bought the Razer Viper V3 Pro. No, I didn’t like it. Maybe it's because my hand got used to the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro, but I feel like the right side of the Razer Viper V3 Pro leaves my pinky finger without a place to rest (on the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro, my pinky naturally rested). I’ll try to request a refund. It's a shame because when I first held the Viper V3 Pro, it felt extremely light, which I liked a lot. Now I'm back to the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro, and while it feels a bit heavy, it's much more comfortable for my hand.
