@@TheLayoverAviation The flight was full that why they upgraded from a350 to B777. Anyway I managed to score a seat next to the GE 90 engine. The food was interesting. I don’t like rollercoasters and the feeling in my stomach. I don’t like to fly for the same reason and I can’t relax and only sit and feel every bit of movement the plan does. Maybe the double ding for Boeing to inform crew about takeoff is by switching thes seatbelt sign on and off only? There is a separate call button for Airbus in the cockpit, seatbelt sign on and off not required.
You’re partially right. A double ding is done manually the same on both planes, with the seatbelt sight on/off. But an automatic function can also be selected by both manufacturers. I think it comes standard on Airbus. It sounds then the gear is selected up/down.
@TheLayoverAviation yes for Airbus during gear retraction too. But indeed it does come standard on all Airbus aircrafts, look at the left in overhead panel
Love your video, and thanks for all the details, makes it more fun to watch. Btw, Austrian should be B777-200ER, not -300ER. Looking forward to your next uploads!
Thanks for the correction Douglas, a small typo as the 3 is next to the 2.. But in the aviation world it’s a big change! I’m glad it’s correct on the second shot of the Austrian B777😅 More coming out very soon!
Cool route! Glad to see the variety!! Another great review layover aviation! Hm, I trying to think of the teaser, I'm struggling anyone else in the comments have a timestamp to what he was referring to?
Looks good...We as family flew from Bengaluru to bangkok on thai airways economy, we were offered only wine & juice, no spirits, with the regular dinner. And the crew weren't really bothered to serve anything extra, maybe it depends on the source & the destination.
I flew Thai on the 17th of jan 2024. Favourite airline. Sydney Kingsford Smith INTL - Suvarnabhumi INTL Airport. FT (Flight time): 9:35 FN (Flight number): TG476 Seat: 62F Aircraft: B777-300ER w/ General Electric GE90 engines Food: (Breakfast): Chicken Curry w/ rice, (Lunch): Pad Thai Note: Very turbulent flight.
Like your narration. I just have one question. Sitting inside the aircraft, how do you know where other planes are going. For example: Japan Airlines Boing B777 going to Kuala Lumpur. I know sitting inside your aircraft, you know the name of the airlines and the type of aircraft. But how do you know where they are going?
I have a live aircraft tracking app on my phone, that’s how :) Or I can just search up the registration at a later stage. There are a few ways to find out. Thanks for watching Swami!
2:04 That title made me choke on the Apple I was eating and made me fall of my bed FR 😂😂😂 10:25 What If the shipment contains people to be stored in a bas- Anyways,I just watched all 40+ of your videos. Drained me a whole month 😅
Haha thanks for all the watching! There is so much more coming, I feel sorry for you🤪 I hope you didn’t choke that bad as you still managed to type. Perhaps it’s no shipment but a new type of low cost carrier.. without any windows! Thanks for writing my friend!
@@TheLayoverAviation Wasn't that worse,After I had a bit of action in the sink I came back and memorized the timestamp and typed it out. Speaking of action in the sink I forgot to keep my phone in the bed right where it was and got it with me on the sink and it's not functioning now, never will. Guess It's Laptop for me now.
Did they allow you go over 2kg extra? How heavy was your checked bag. I am sure there were lots of bags at the baggage claim from this flight since it was a 777
I fly mostly with hand luggage only so I don’t know.. But I’m sure that most of these legacy airlines just pretend they don’t see the 2kg. It’s mostly low cost that try to squeeze every penny out of you.
Another unique feature of a 777-300ER is the tail skid which is a small skid mounted at the aft of the fuselage. It’s purpose was to absorb shocks and prevent damage to the aircraft during take offs and landings because of a very high nose up attitude. Boeing has discontinued this feature as they believe the present fleet can do without it.
True! And what helps the 300ER a lot is the SLG (semi levered gear). It adds some height to the aircraft. I wanted to mention all that soon on some extremely heavy B777-300ER episode, +15 hour let’s say.. Thanks for the comment Neville! Always very interesting!
I learn so much from your reviews. Not weird, but alot of JAL ANA flight to everywhere but no North American carries. Must be the terminal. North or South. Bravo to that farmer. You can beat government through standing your ground. Narita was and still is a leach for what they did way back when.
Perhaps the North American carriers depart at a different timing.. The farmer story is actually great, I’ve taxied by multiple times and have to applaud his decision. Wish I could plane spot in his garden!😁
Hola, superb review, you already gave me spoiler last time haha. Sir, Are you interested in Russian aircrafts because i like them a lot. Is there any chance will you be doing reviews on typical Russian built aircrafts.
Thanks Subham! I love Russian aircrafts and was thinking of visiting Russia, but I am sure many viewers won’t like that. I would also get into trouble at borders when my passport is checked, I’ll get questioned for sure wherever I go!
See, me not at all.. I live in Dubai and an A321 is so rare there.. Can’t think of many operators flying it to Dubai.. Vistara, Air India sometimes, but I’m sure there is not more then 5 a day there! But B777’s are everywhere!
Bro you explain with lots of details no other youtuber is interested in doing that, you are just doing perfectly, keep going.

I really hope you enjoyed the flight. I'm half Thai and I always travel from London to bangkok with Thai airways
I enjoyed the flight very much Andrew. Looking forward trying them on a longer flight 😄
To London would be nice..!
i'm half thai too
Wonderful video buddy! Liked!
Thanks Jelmer!!
Hi Layovev do you always have to be so perfect n good at these tripreport always falling here with your beautiful mind
You are always far too sweet to me! One more video coming on the way!
Perfect n amazing thanks for the trip best always
Thanks Donna! More good stuff coming soon!
Greetings from Washington!
I’m glad it’s correct on the second shot of the Austrian B777😅
More coming out very soon!
Which is my favorite Thai beer? I love them both !!
True.. It’s like asking if you love your mom or dad more!😛
Cool route! Glad to see the variety!! Another great review layover aviation! Hm, I trying to think of the teaser, I'm struggling anyone else in the comments have a timestamp to what he was referring to?
So true about the prices! 7-11 in airpots would be so clutch
And all of those japanese snacks Too!
Incredible legroom and foot rest! Wow, it's almost premium economy.
Easy, the B777’s that I show are video’s I shot and still have to be released😄
Starting by the United B777-300ER next.
It definitely felt like premium economy!
Looks good...We as family flew from Bengaluru to bangkok on thai airways economy, we were offered only wine & juice, no spirits, with the regular dinner. And the crew weren't really bothered to serve anything extra, maybe it depends on the source & the destination.
smooth as silk, Thai slogan. nice video
It’s been their slogan for many years if I remember well..
And they lived up to their promise!
I flew Thai on the 17th of jan 2024. Favourite airline.
Sydney Kingsford Smith INTL - Suvarnabhumi INTL Airport.
FT (Flight time): 9:35
FN (Flight number): TG476
Seat: 62F
Aircraft: B777-300ER w/ General Electric GE90 engines
Food: (Breakfast): Chicken Curry w/ rice, (Lunch): Pad Thai
Note: Very turbulent flight.
I have a live aircraft tracking app on my phone, that’s how :)
Or I can just search up the registration at a later stage. There are a few ways to find out.
Thanks for watching Swami!

That title made me choke on the Apple I was eating and made me fall of my bed FR 😂😂😂

What If the shipment contains people to be stored in a bas-
Anyways,I just watched all 40+ of your videos.
Drained me a whole month 😅
Haha thanks for all the watching! There is so much more coming, I feel sorry for you🤪
I hope you didn’t choke that bad as you still managed to type.
Excellent compilation
Thanks my friend!
My friend, Chang of course😊, in a few days from Zurich to Bangkok, as many years with my loved family❤❤❤❤
I like the background track!
I love to find some good music to match😄
Fantastic one, love from Taiwan
I’m visiting Taiwan next week, can’t wait to eat!!!
@@TheLayoverAviation looking forward to see a video about EVA AIR hahaha, or which airline u r flying?
Thank you for flying THAI. We are coming back!
I loved it!
Do you subscribe to any particular magazine like Aviation week? Where did you read about Thai Airways’s sad state of affairs?
Your videos are informative, entertaining 😍😍😍👌
I am very glad that you think so!😃
Did they allow you go over 2kg extra? How heavy was your checked bag. I am sure there were lots of bags at the baggage claim from this flight since it was a 777
I fly mostly with hand luggage only so I don’t know.. But I’m sure that most of these legacy airlines just pretend they don’t see the 2kg. It’s mostly low cost that try to squeeze every penny out of you.
28:12, There is a special livery on Finnair, but you forgot to name the special livery.
True! I oversaw that one..
Chicago Tokyo Bangkok ✈️✈️🙏Smooth as silk 🌈
Thank you for Video 🙏👍👍👍
Thanks for watching my friend!
Top o seu canal . Ganhou mais um escrito moro no Brasil! Gosto assistir um vídeo como esse! Mas valeu um abraço
Fico feliz que tenha gostado Vinicios!
Will you fly to Stockholm from Bangkok as it operates their aircrafts daily to go there?
Nice video btw when united American coming
United is next!
Tokyo Bangkok is Fantastic to me ❤️🙏❤️🇹🇭
WELCOME TO THAILAND☺☺
One of my favorite places to visit ❤️
I learn so much from your reviews. Not weird, but alot of JAL ANA flight to everywhere but no North American carries. Must be the terminal. North or South. Bravo to that farmer. You can beat government through standing your ground. Narita was and still is a leach for what they did way back when.
Perhaps the North American carriers depart at a different timing..
The farmer story is actually great, I’ve taxied by multiple times and have to applaud his decision. Wish I could plane spot in his garden!😁
This was rather a quick take off for 777-300ER!
Quite an empty flight! I don’t think we were more then 50-60 on board.
Welcome to The Kingdoms of Thailand 🇹🇭🙏💖
Always so happy to return ❤️
Nice video I've flown thai airways 27 times from London Heathrow to Bangkok not bad however I prefer eva
27 is a lot Tony, good on you!
I hope to fly Eva soon.
Thanks for watching!
O HS-TKN the same one i been on TG917
Funny how many of us have been in the same
planes!
Did your ears block when the plane was landing ?
I always chew gum on take off and arrival. It’s a trick I learned from a flying family member. I’ve never had any issues!
@@TheLayoverAviation ohh ok ok that’s good advice right there!!!!
Woah Asia is so beautiful
Even much more of what you can imagine!
Thank you ขอบคุณมากค่ะ ❤🌺❤️
Thanks for watching!
good video!!!!!
Thanks!!
2:00 that is a 200ER my friend
Typo’s happen!
Amazing! I'm flight this company Thai Airways from Madrid to Bangkok. In BOEING 747-400
Me likes! 🇪🇸💚🇹🇭
I remember those flights back in the 2000’s! Loves to see Thai’s B747’s in Madrid ❤️
Wow, Achina, Anya, Jared, Chie, Jane pogi naman ng mga aeroplano
when you shoot with your iphone do you shoot in 4k 60 fps or 30 fps? your footage is so sharp
4K 30fps. 60 takes too much memory and 30 seems great to me!
@@TheLayoverAviation cheers for that! love your work!
Does the company ask for your credit card at check-in? I'm concerned about this because I booked using a paypal account with a virtual credit card.
You’ll have to ask them.
I only used my passport.
Interior rattles during engine startup annoys me....I want to hunt the interior piece down lol
I thought that was the very best that everyone loves!
@@TheLayoverAviation the engine sound, yes. The interior rattle/buzzing, no...not for me anyway...maybe I'm weird 😁
whats the reason for all the planes there are parked
Out of service..
No space for them in the fleet. Cutting costs. Mismanagement. Many reasons!
aha! I think i got it, maybe he's going to fly business class on thai next?
I wish.. But not yet!
Favorite beer is Chang 🍺🙂🇩🇰
Well, hurra then my friend!😁 🍺
❤🌺😉คนไทยยินดีต้อนรับ
My most flown plane is the a321
See, me not at all..
I live in Dubai and an A321 is so rare there.. Can’t think of many operators flying it to Dubai.. Vistara, Air India sometimes, but I’m sure there is not more then 5 a day there!
But B777’s are everywhere!
Haha, here in Canada it is very common.
Show us one of the best B777s and names
Did the Pilot or ATC request the flaps to 15?
The pilots manage the flaps 100% of the time.
None of the tower’s business😂
I wonder why did u have so many specialities from crew? 😂
Because I gave them some Japanese chocolates!
Can anyone confirm if this flight has Wi-Fi. My partner is panicking that it doesn’t and requires it for work
I don’t remember it.. You’ll have to investigate.
Looks like every single airplane in Narita is gonna go to Seoul XD
On this occasion it did indeed!
