Terraria is a game about you fail, fail, and probably fail after fail. and most likely, failed fail! So, you have a new weapon that makes you not fail! It's called Save & Exit, and it's pretty powerful... actually, it's too powerful. you should use it with caution.
Originally, the concept was theorized in 2020: It's been long, so I remastered the video to perfection for your enjoyment.

Save & Exit can be very useful if you were a hardcore player and accidently summon the wall of flesh because using magic mirror (or its upgrades) or recall potions will kill you.

Very useful magic, you can even dupe stuff with it.

It's just in-game option, no one can forbid you exit whenever you want, maybe you need to go, just count as if the game crashed or so the pc, it's a save for hardcore players and why not if you accidentally wrong threw a dynamite
