- Terraria got you covered with hundreds of weapons to be used: The problem is, most of them go obsolete after you defeat a boss or two. That's unfortunate, especially when you really liked that specific weapon! Well, there are mods that reduces, or removes that sort of progression by making those weapons stronger. This mod is... interesting.
So, I decided to revisit the mod to see what insanity we can conjure out of this: Now with Calamity mod and even more weapons to try!

I always used this mod in my playthrough(i did my own balanced configuration),esspecially if i play with hard modes like infernum/death or others.

Skeletron is the main problem for my mod, since it uses the mechanics of super armor, and it cannot be dealt more than 4 damage at a time, but still there are weapons in the game that do not impose a short vulnerability on the enemy, and at a high level (with a large number of vom of projectiles) it can kill similar enemies in a second
Zenith is just one of these weapons, or in the config you can change "LocalImmunModeOnProj" to 0 and be glad that any weapon will destroy it in a second
And the moment when weapons start doing 1 damage means that the damage has become above the int limit, gone beyond 2 billion
Moreover, in tModLoader it is possible to set a damage cap, but if the damage exceeds 2 billion, the cap simply does not have time to work and there will still be 1 damage, and at the moment this cannot be fixed :(

And also, do you have any ideas about what accessories with this mod could be used to complete the game without problems? If the accessory is correctly created and fires projectiles, the same thing happens to them as with weapon projectiles, but personally I don’t know many such options, since I haven’t tested this mechanic much

also I haven't quite understood your last question, things like Bone Glove and Spore Sac and other expert accessories fire projectiles but not sure if that's what you were asking

Among the weapons that I found were a bone helmet from don't starve boss, a bone glove from a dungeon, spores from a plantera, a star cloak and its analogues. In Calamity, these are, for example, a Fungal Clump from a crabulon, a broken accessory from a plague bee, the heart of the elementals, and guardians of Providence. In Fargo, it seems that the soul of eternity should work, but this was tested before the appearance of additional shells.
In theory, there are many more such options, at least because this also works with mods (if they are made properly). For me, information about what it can work with will provide an opportunity to balance the mechanics of improving accessories, and for you it may give even new ideas with the mod, so I’m asking
I can only think of those accessories with offensive capability getting XP not by themselves, but from regular attacks: ie. You don't have to bash enemies with Shield of Cthulhu to gain XP, but using a weapon gives some XP to accessories. They'd boost their damage stat and maybe the speed and number of projectiles
not sure if that's actually possible but i hope you develop something good (or fun & weird, at least)
@@AdamChromeE I could add mechanics like "your accessories improve when you deal damage" or "your weapon gets a percentage of the damage dealt" but I'm not sure if it's worth it
For example, it will be possible to improve items like a block of land, which is now only possible through commands (you can try writing “/itemlvl 1000” in chat with a torch in your hands, it will be funny (don’t forget to enable cheats in the config)), this can create a ton unexpected errors on an ongoing basis (and the damage of the Cthulhu shield is static)
