These should be the presets for the original one. These are phenomenal. It’s about time I wasn’t impressed with the preset patches not overly anyway.

I'd say there's a good dose of Roland D-50 DNA in its sound. It has that sparkle.

There are lots of HS demos out there, but not all are recorded for YT with this much quality.

Very nice patches ! For me Peak vs Hydrasynth (deskop version) Hydrasynth too digital and Peak sound more warm and fat - Are you agree Alphacode ?

@@paulackerman2800 this debate is so dumb and played out . they both sound completely different . peak is warm and very analog sounding so if thats what you want ...cool. i went with the hydrasynth because i wanted something that could do that cold bell like/ digital crunchy sound better to compliment all of my warm analog synths. there is no "better".

Use an analog device after hydra and you will put the waves to a pleasing package.
(a tube, an analog filter, a preamp, distortion pedal) ect.
Btw alphacode did u use a Preamp? ;) sounds like it.

Still can’t figure out how to even change presets with laptop. Must turn dial. I loaded the edit. ? Two pages.
Can someone please tell me if there is a switch on Synth that will give control to computer? Or visa versa.

First download the Hydrasynth patch manager from the ASM website either 32 or 64 bit depending on your OS
Import the custom patches
On the left drop down you’ll see Hydrasynth A, B,C,D,E
Open D or E these 2 banks should be empty
On the right drop down go to “packs” and you should the custom patches click on that and it will load the 50 patches on right side
Click and drag the patches into selected slots on left and Hydrasynth will start writing them into flash memory (you will see a progress bar) wait until it is complete and you’ll be able to scroll and enjoy
Unfortunately there isn’t a way preview before writing a patch to memory

They could throw in any ol vst, they’d be choked to actually replicate the digital engineering. They’re already trying their damn nearest with prophet and Waldorf. Let’s see how many lawsuits they avoid in another decade.
You ran out of lower octaves at ua-cam.com/video/EpuatONwA44/v-deo.html .... shame they didn't launch a 61/73/76-key Poly AT 'board off the bat. Guess it may come if the sales of this great synth/desktop do it justice... Nice patches as always Alphacode!! 😷🎹🎶👍🍻
I couldn’t agree more, this synth deserves at least a 61 key version. Would make such a big difference
@@BoomJitsu ... for sure, it's frankly a crime not to have the 'budget' version start at 61 for a performance synth, rising to suit wallet, particularly at this price point, i.e. they can make the HW relatively cheaply with their partnership with a large, well-established keyboard manufacturer in Far East. :/
