I really like the color on this and the body mould is pretty nice but I don't need this in my collection. I would love an actual MvC line of figures with the big beefy proportions and colors.
Damn, this is actually kind of cool. If they're doing MvC style stuff I want a venom with maybe some of his moves (a dream, I know) or a blackheart. He was favorite character in the second one and he's generally simple looking to do imo
i passed on this as soon as i saw that it was a straight up repaint and it didn't come with that huge VTOL air frame backpack thing he uses for his 'war destroyer' hyper combo. that would have made this a must have.
Its funny when Bandai puts more effort into an ad for ONE promo toy than Hasbro does for the actual figure. Look up the Kamen Rider/ Godzilla/ Evangelion/ Ultraman combiner trailer that Bandai just put out.
meh meh meh bundai effort meh meh meh. You do realize that one company is a Japanese manufacturer that makes figures for collectors and the other makes figures for kids and when they do put more effort its for the exclusive figures
This is probably a hot take by I definitely want the ab-crunch gone. I think have no problem with the ab-crunch itself, but the waist twist is horrendous looking. A diaphragm joint can do the job of both, and you get the added articulation of tilting. I know that Hasbro hasn't done the best job with diaphragm joints (Figures that come to mind are Ultimate Captain America and Extremist Iron Man) but I'm a person who prefers the sculpt over articulation in most cases as long as articulation isn't completely none functional. But for example I. An get Ultimate Cap is some pretty cool poses, regardless of how limited his diaphragm joint is. So my main problem is definitely the waist twist, it's just so ugly and just destroys the sculpt and anatomy of the figure.
my war machine's "star blast" effect has the same bent spots...it's been on the shelf for months and they're still bent! as for the colors, they're alright, but not close enough and the wimpy proportions are not nearly close enough to be MvC
The glossy mold plus the effects are the selling point for me. I don't consider this war machine though. It reminds me more of a stealth Iron man. My head was extremely tight as well. I had to remove the head, move it around a bit before I posed mine
Zup Anthony, love the new IAM shirts, pretty cool. Whish they continue with the logo on the back and different colors besides black or white. Anywho thanks for the video
I know I should not care about this repaint, but I love the glossy black with the hint of blue. I love it so much, I almost feel guilty. I do like the blast effects. I think that Hasbro should include blast effects in all figure who blast. I especially like the chest blast effect.
For the question of the day I was kind of wanted this war machine but I would have liked to see it in black and white to better fit the look that toybiz gave us and I don't think this is a comic look I think its just a traditional variant repaint.
Anthony, c'mon. The chest is fine, the arms are fine, the figure looks good as it is. Hasbro has a thing for not putting much paint, if any at all, but in this case the figure doesn't need it as much. And yeah, repaint is pretty lazy but for this version of War Machine it's fine, it doesn't need much more.
I personally don't mind the repaint on Iron man Figures since his some of his armours are similar to eachother anyways loool i just want to build a sick hall of armour i got like 16 right now 😂😅
I already have the first release of the Modular Iron Man from the Ursa Major BAF wave and while it does look cool, I do need to get the new FA model 1 Iron Man Alex Ross Model 70 Iron Man from Hasbro, Great review Anthony.
Great review as per usual. "They really Hasbro'd this" made me LOL. The thing that gets me is War Machine should have a bunch of guns and missle launchers hanging off of it. Yeah I know that the Capcom version didnt have them either but it should have!
I don’t think this is specifically supposed to be a MvC design so I think the colors are good with me. The only thing that bugs me is the shoulder proportions. They just seem too wide and away from the body. I do like the figure though. If you just write off the proportion stuff as stylized art stuff, then it’s passable.
Liar! I’m actually stunned at the number of accessories, I got that mew peepee pants Cyclops and it had none, okay I lied, it came with a pair of hands…. “They Hasbro’d this one” Beahahaha! Gods I laughed so hard. The mechanics of human flight “boop”
1:52- off all the reviews, if you, the only one with a good understanding of anatomy didn't say the name of the artwork I would've given a dislike, lol jk, great video as always :)
Well Anthony if you're gonna keep collecting ML i guess not taking so serious every QC problems is a approach, but keep pointig them, like you did in this video...
Most companies would honestly try to fix the issues the first came with and not just repaint but dang. I agree with you Anthony. Marvel Legends fans are morons. Colors are not accurate to the look they were trying to go for and why couldn’t they use war machines double ball peg? The effect pieces are honestly cool but for a guy that just edits the effects in, it’s meh. The chest repulsor effect is like what the heck
Check out INTO THE AM to see all their amazing new designs at the link below:

I wonder if Darwin tore War Machine's head off before the video, and than stole his suit? 😅🤔
I really like the color on this and the body mould is pretty nice but I don't need this in my collection. I would love an actual MvC line of figures with the big beefy proportions and colors.
that would be absolutely incredible!
Damn, this is actually kind of cool. If they're doing MvC style stuff I want a venom with maybe some of his moves (a dream, I know) or a blackheart. He was favorite character in the second one and he's generally simple looking to do imo
Blackheart on the movie Venom body feels like such an easy move
I think the ToyBiz ML Blackheart still holds up alright and isn't TOO pricey these days.
i passed on this as soon as i saw that it was a straight up repaint and it didn't come with that huge VTOL air frame backpack thing he uses for his 'war destroyer' hyper combo. that would have made this a must have.
I would've loved that too but lets face it. It wouldev been a $50. Deluxe Pulse exclusive just like the Proton Cannon, lol. We can't win with Haslow.
Great review Anthony I completely agree 8 is the perfect rating for this figure
Its funny when Bandai puts more effort into an ad for ONE promo toy than Hasbro does for the actual figure. Look up the Kamen Rider/ Godzilla/ Evangelion/ Ultraman combiner trailer that Bandai just put out.
Or the Virtual Insanity ad for SHF Jamiroquai
meh meh meh bundai effort meh meh meh. You do realize that one company is a Japanese manufacturer that makes figures for collectors and the other makes figures for kids and when they do put more effort its for the exclusive figures
I think they wanted the colors to match with the modular Iron Man that's red and gold. I'll grab this when on sale.
Fun fact, there is another war machine figure from marvel legends that resembles more the artwork of marvel vs Capcom
While he is an MvC-inspired repaint, I like to use this guy as the result of Iron Man and War Machine doing the fusion dance
it's a stealth suit for tony in the comics pretty sure so it makes sense
Darwin being Warmachine was a nice touch!

Agreed
for the box art, I think they just recolored classic modular armor artwork because it looks just like the art from those early appearances of the suit
I’d like to see you review the Teen Titans wave from McFarlane. The BAF Beast Boy is pretty solid imo.
Darwin has no business looking that damn good in an iron man suit lol
You know what we need more Iron Darwin!!!
Looks pretty good to me. The colours are stylish. Since they painted gold on the Modular Iron Man I expected them to with this too. Ho hum.😐
Me at the end of the video: "Oh, interesting, he is not gonna fight Darw-- WTF".
my war machine's "star blast" effect has the same bent spots...it's been on the shelf for months and they're still bent! as for the colors, they're alright, but not close enough and the wimpy proportions are not nearly close enough to be MvC
This is MvC War machine Sprite design

Looking good Anthony …You make those shirts look awesome 😘❤️❤️
Zup Anthony, love the new IAM shirts, pretty cool. Whish they continue with the logo on the back and different colors besides black or white. Anywho thanks for the video
11:05 plot twist!
If they had used the correct shade of blue, then I would've gotten it. As is it's an easy pass for me.

Yes! Been waiting for you to review this one.

yeah... why should we get anything for our money?
@@AnthonysCustoms We did. We did get something for our money.

Would be interesting to see one of the Masterverse figures from Mattel. Some of them are actually pretty nice.
I like the the leg section around the thigh, it looks cool and the colours are nice
That under the helmet reveal was a real spoiler.
the vitruvian man!
I want Amazing Yamaguchi to reissue War Machine which is the ultimate War Machine you could get.
I already have the first release of the Modular Iron Man from the Ursa Major BAF wave and while it does look cool, I do need to get the new FA model 1 Iron Man Alex Ross Model 70 Iron Man from Hasbro, Great review Anthony.
If he came with the open palm hands so he could hold the photon cannon then he'd be tempting.
Really interested in the Marvel Select Blade and want to buy it, will you be reviewing?
dont think so.
HERE'S MY SUNDAY BEST
Great review as per usual. "They really Hasbro'd this" made me LOL. The thing that gets me is War Machine should have a bunch of guns and missle launchers hanging off of it. Yeah I know that the Capcom version didnt have them either but it should have!
pretty sure this was just stealth iron man in the comics so that would be why
THE LAST PICTURE HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH
I loved
Please review the select apocalypse. It’s got a lot to offer man. If you can get past the weird head decision
Can't get past the head
Yea it’s very big and badly sculpted but that body my god Anthony. It’s amazing
Beg to differ. The tubular lower legs and arms don't work for me.
I don’t think this is specifically supposed to be a MvC design so I think the colors are good with me. The only thing that bugs me is the shoulder proportions. The mvc art has the deluxe war machine design with these legs. Is it possible to switch the legs?
not easily

No I didn't want this war machine. I would like one from animated series from the 90s
Should've put this video on Sunday lol
why?
@@AnthonysCustoms
War machine in MVC: "Here's my Sunday best!"
definitely wanted this one but they picked the wrong fucking colors, yes lmao
Shuma-Gorath when?
I wouldn't hold my breath if i was you
@@AnthonysCustoms Yeah that would require them to make a fully original figure
This is a re-upload right? I swear you posted this video a while ago.
nope
WOW very good looking guy!! 😅💪🏻💗💝

I personally like it because mvc was my childhood game and I always had war machine in my team. This brings good memories 🥲
