Thank you for inviting me, Kaz-san!!! I really enjoyed talking and eating Ikan Bakar!! (Ikan bakar ini sangat sedap!!!) See you later!!!!! Jumpa lagi!!!
Jom cakap bahasa Melayu! ❤
Terima kasih dan tahniah Leo!
Once you understand Malay, you should not have problem to go to some part of Thailand, Indonesia , Singapore and Brunei
Tolong collab sama kouji ataupun nobushun world
Banyaknya makan sambal. Bole tahan pedas.👍
I'm impressed by Leo-san's bahasa Melayu. Only after 2 months he was able to speak quite well and without the Japanese accent. I'm sure in another 3 months he'll very fluent if he continues to learn and practice persistently. Keep it Leo- San.
tapi orang melayu pulak yg bodoh cakap you i you i dengan nya
What a great collab! Leo seems like a very nice young man albeit coming across as a bit unsure of himself sometimes. (We all have those moments I think) It’s so nice to see Kaz taking him under his wing.
Thank you so much !! 😆
Overwhelmed. The way Kaz support Leo in bahasa just make me smile n tears. Kuddos both of you guys. Have a great day n stay safe, please.
Terima Kasihhh ! Have a nice weekend 😊
@@kazinkl sama2 Kaz.

Thank you, Kaz for being such a great host on behalf of all Malaysians to introduce & explain about local culture & lifestyle to many foreigners and fellow Japanese whom had joined you in your UA-cam. Great to see your openness, adventurous attitude, humbleness & show of respect in dealing with others. I think, I have not missed out any of your videos 😁. Looking forward to your new videos. Stay safe and I hope, you’ll collect a lot of sweet memories during your stay in Malaysia.

This is one of the best Kaz’ videos so far. Maybe because Leo is so entertaining as your guest!
Thank you !!
Leo
Im so amazed with u guys japanese want to speak malay.
Wahh... Leo with KAZ KL.. Happy to see him with KAZ.

Thanks abang Kaz for helping out adik Leo. Keep doing a good deeds and promote Malaysia to our new 'family' in Malaysia 🌺🇲🇾
It takes courage to approach random people just to practice what he's been learning. Good job to both of you.
Baru 2 bulan dah pandai cakap bahasa Melayu Syabas Leo
I find Leo san a polite young man though a bit shy at times. Happy that he found a friend in kaz.
it's great that Leo is a fast learner in Bahasa..he should meet Kouji,Nobu,Shun & Poko then..
dia dah msj kouji n nobu tp diorang x reply. Maybe kouji n nobu buzi kot. dalam video leo sebelum ni ada dia bagitau.
@@sitinorsyazwaniabdullah8092 ooo..mungkin
Kaz, so happy to see your country man arrived in Malaysia to have a assignment here, pls you as a experience life in Malaysia pls open heart and take him around to enjoyed the food you have tried, let him feel home here
Glad to see you again Kaz.
Leo-san erai!
He's only been here for 2 months but his Bahasa Melayu is quite good. I noticed how he managed to use local dialect for the pronunciation of "Saya" or "I" as "Saye", using the "e pepet" as we call it in Bahasa Melayu or the "ɜ" in English phonetics. I'm ashamed to say that my Japanese is pretty rusty now as I rarely use it after graduating from uni 😅
And now I'm craving Ikan Bakar as well for iftar 🤤
@@puppeteerrz mu kotor amat
@@puppeteerrz There are two types of pronunciation for the vowel "e" in Bahasa Melayu.
First, it's called "e pepet" for example when you pronounce "enam" (six in english).
Second, the "e taling" for example "ekor" (tail in English).
It's purely linguistics, man. Get your head out of the gutter.
Woahh.. it's totally different vibes. Leo don't usually talk in his video. I thought he would sound awkward and shy but he's done this perfectly! Thanks kaz to share this video!!
wow. 2 month but very smooth already ans Leo has very strong passionate in malaysia ans bahasa Melayu.. tq kaz for inviting leo
2 month of learning bahasa melayu on his own, very impressive indeed. and he speaks well. kaz san, you need to study harder 😅

Kaz, so glad you have met up with Leo!! You are like the Japanese big bro bringing all the "new kids on the block" to different places to try new stuffs.😂
Kaz .., its so nice of you to invite Leo to join you for a meal. Yes.. i follow his channel too. He is new here but he's already quite good at speaking Bahasa Malaysia. Great video , Kaz . Love to see you helping out Leo and Nobu , shun & Poko. You're quite an expert on Malaysia now. Keep up the good work.
this is what i love watching ur video every weeks.. u interview many foreigners, students(especiall from Japan) and eating Malaysia foods together.. Its fun to hearing somethings that they love about Malaysia. Keep going to do that and also enjoy makan, makan and makan..
Kaz, terima kasih jemput Leo. Terus nampak sisi lain Leo. Agak mengagumkan boleh bercakap bahasa Melayu dalam masa 2 bulan je. Kaz kena belajar dengan Leo nanti 😁
Another nice video by Kaz. Very interesting to see a Japanese student who love to learn SEA culture and history. Good job !
When you learn history abt Japanese in Malaysia during World War 2 was a very sad period to remember. How the Japanese first came here as a merchant going to kampong only to do the spying work. And how thousands of Japanese people suffer when atomic bomb was dropped in Hiroshima and Nagasaki
Thats a little bit of history heard frm my grandmother.V sad but you cant change history
Our only hope it will never happen again. Not here nor anywhere else in this beautiful world.
Your videos are getting better & better Kaz
Terbaiklah kaz dan leo.. Anda sangat dialu alukan di malaysia..

Not something a lot of our locals here even bothered to be interested in it.
Wah Leo telah melakukan tugasan dengan baiknya. Dia bilang, dia seorang jejaka malu malu kucing, tetapi beranikan diri dengan menyahut cabaran Kaz !
KAZ ! You are really good brother to Leo san ! Thanks for taking care of him under your wing !
Agak jarang dah nak dengar orang sekarang sebut 'bilang' tapi orang Singapura masih ada yang menggunakan perkataan tu. Terus saya teringat cerita P. Ramlee 😃

Hi Leo, your BM is so good!!!👍
Even better than the local Chinese who born here!!!🤷
I am sure his English is better than a lot of locals that learned English too. Don't be a racist. Does it make you feel better about yourself especially in the month of Ramadan?
He spoke well in Bahasa Melayu in fact just learn for 2 months!. Great job!
I won't be surprised if Leo after few months start selling Ramly burger at his own stall roadside because of how quickly he adapt to our language. Well done. Great video!
Another collaboration…sugoii
AAAAAAAA LEO! Finally get to see Leo speaking in the video (other than Pikachan video) 😂
8:06 The Japanese army first landed in Peninsular Malaysia (then Malaya) at Pantai Cahaya Bulan (then Pantai Cinta Berahi), Kota Bharu, Kelantan just past midnight on Dec 8, 1941 to begin the four-year Japanese occupation of Malaya.
I was in Japan around 5 years ago, but until now the only phrase I can speak = Arigato gozaimasta….
Wow awesome!Very fluently BM speaking!!😲
I feel like Leo would be very compatible with Kouji! They’re both knowledgeable
I would love to see you and Leo go on a trip to Kelantan and Terengganu!
Wow. So good his BM! And I like to see Kaz hosting these new guys like Kouji & Nobu. Soon it's going to be like one big gang Collab. Maybe all of you guys should go to east coast road trip together 😉

Amazing leo can speak bahasa melayu only take 2month,i guaranty he can fluent someday...👍👍
Leo chan! I salute you for your well-informed and probability of some research-base knowledge effort on Msia.👏 I'm beyond impressed (that u mentioned historical Siamese influences prevalent in Ktan, Tgganu) but then again it's within the scope of your uni subject discipline and interest. In particular u mentioned item 3. Melaka Portuguese-Kristang community enclave which is most unique, one&only in the world - can't find anywhere else on planet earth! Luv Melaka for its multi-faceted, multi-mixed ethnicity. KAZ, cycle @Melaka City itself right up to the enclaves of Kristang community and Straits Indian, the Chitty. Done it few times to experience at grass-root level. Recall some time back one Japnese guy did a fast-paced vid of Melaka with main focus mentioning on one ethnic race only which is quite superficial not depicting the myriad of ethnic diversification. Besides often mentioned Straits Chinese Baba Nyonya, Kristang and Chitties are small but unique breed of inter-marriage pple! Being myself proudly multi-ethnicity, of course, beyond doubt the Melayu majority are the most hospitable, welcoming and extremely accommodating race - simply in our DNA!
Hi kaz in KL very delicious and nice perfectly located..enjoy your life
Kaz PR is owesome... Leo is fantastic. Actually Leo sounds is just like some of my chinese friends.
Gud job Leo..so impress..👍👍

Kaz has become senpai to many japanese juniors😌😌
U guys can try kelantan food at Kedai Makan named Warung Ambo at Shah Alam..
Talking about Malaysia-Japan relationship (for Leo san), if you want to look into the history, you might want look further back when the Ryukyuan Kingdom had a trading link with many ancient Malay kingdoms, that would include Malacca Sultanate.
You would be surprised to know that other than trade item, there might be a few Malay words that have been exported to Japan (during Ryukyuan Kingdom's time).
One example is ゴーヤチャンプル (Goya Champuru) where the word Champuru is highly suspected as a Malay word which is "Campur" (meaning to mix, mazeru).
Another interesting cognate is "Alamak" in Malay and あらまあ (arama) in Japanese which provide the same expression of "oh well", "oh dear" or "oh my".
Omoshiroi desu ne.
Ohhooo! Nice leo you've got your collab
Also, it's weird that he looks skinnier in this vid rn
Leo is soo polite..:}...Yasss Baba Nyonya Food

Its really great to watch when u collab... Love ur channel Kazz..
Its great to see leo with kaz 🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍
Listening to your comment in this video, I would like to say that this is actually quite a modern way to make ikan bakar, by using the flat pan. Traditional ikan bakar way would still be made using a grill, just like Japanese. Although it is rare to find restaurants do that nowadays, even I do not know which restaurant still cook ikan bakar on a grill.
Today only satay, otak-otak and satar are cooked on a grill.
Awesome kaz and leo great day and enjoy make sure Stay safe and healthy 😊
thanks for nice conversation bro👍
Great job done by Kaz, keep it up 👍💯✅
Leo’s BM pronunciation is very good 👏🏻😮
