1. When did you move to Houston Tx? June 2018 from Fort Lauderdale Fl. I did have someone to live with (family friend)
2. How long did it take to find a job? 2 months
3. How long did it take to get a place? 3 months.
4. Did you graduate in Houston Tx? Yes, went to school fall 2019. Graduated with my associates degree fall of 2021
5. Why did you leave Houston? Around month 7 I knew I wouldn't stay long term. It was a few reasons, 1 being that I preferred my Florida lifestyle.
6. When and where did you move? I moved back to south Florida January 1st, 2022.
Needed this, as I prepare to step out on faith. Super nervous but excited.... I'm planning to leave early Saturday morning from Florida to Houston.

When people don't really know Houston they will refer you to the suburbs, lol. What makes Houston (and surrounding areas) unique is you WILL have many, many, MANY choices. Suburbs from the North to the south to the West are all great. East suburbs...ehhh, lol. The 3x rent and increases are all about class control. Don't come here with bad credit, bad rental history, criminal record, no money and no solid job, lol. Texas don't play!

Did you ever spend time in the Clear Lake / League City area? It’s very peaceful, family friendly and less crime but you can be in Houston proper in no time for work or going out.

Well, Weather Wise, I Googled States With the Best Weather, and the list is......1...CALIFORNIA 2.HAWAII 3....TEXAS, 4..ARIZONA, 5....FLORIDA, 6..GEORGIA, 7..SOUTH CAROLINA, 8...DELAWARE, 9...NORTH CAROLINA, AND 10....LOUISIANA. NUFF SAID!!!!!!
For anyone that sees this please be sure to HAVE A DETAILED PLAN when you move regardless of the state. I’m not saying you did this in particular Bri but I see a lot of people moving to different states impulsively because social media is advising them to and within a year or so they’re back home. People, you need to have a nice hefty savings whenever you move and research the areas and learn more about the city before you move. Also HAVE A JOB or career path already lined up. Most complaints I see from people are things that could have been easily known through a Google search. I’m from Houston and I absolutely love my city. Everyone’s experience is different. If you want to actually know how Houston is ask people that ACTUALLY live here (don’t ask me though because I’m headed to work soon) lol Also we are friendly here but we are CLOSED. Choose another state to move to . How about this Bri, start making videos about Florida instead since your channel is a “moving to another state channel.”
Lol Ummmm okay well. Any video I made or make about Houston is because people ask for my experience and my opinion so that’s what I did for 3 years. I appreciate you being respectful but if someone wants to make an impulsive decision that’s their choice. Even if you sit there and make this intense list there’s still a possibility of someone not enjoying the city as much. There’s a huge difference (like I said) between visiting and living. There’s so much to take into account, That google can not solve. I myself spent 6 months on google searching for answers. Because of the lack in 2018 I started vlogging my experiences & making Houston videos as I discovered different things about the city. That is why I give what I consider my honest opinion so ppl are able to question a bit more before moving instead of saying Houston is so perfect .. A lot of people aren’t able to speak directly to Houston natives which is why they watch videos.. However for most people yes I agree you shouldn’t go anywhere without some sort of preparation. And so far as MY channel and MY content no need to worry about me 💕 I got this thank you l !
This is good advice actually ! Can’t be impulsive when making big moves like this. I moved to Houston from Florida. Job market is amazing here.

No I wouldn’t, Houston def has one up .. it’s hot here but the humidity is tolerable! I’m literally outside every single day .. I could never in Houston..
The humidity is worse in Florida. You will tolerate the humidity in Florida because Florida is much more beautiful.

I am in love with Orlando.. and rent in Fort Lauderdale is a bit pricey most definitely.
The rent in Orlando has gone up as of November 2023 so keep in mind your rent is around 1400 to 1500 for 1/1 ,and that’s for places without roaches I live near the airport area and mold in these apartments are horrible and don’t leave Texas thinking your going to find nice looking apartments as you do in Texas … avoid PINE HILL it’s cheaper but it’s considered the hood with roaches ..hope this helps

Now hold up. Im a Houstonian. Sex trafficking was here before the our current boom. Please be fair. As far as crime, seems every major city is going through this. Now, our cost of living did rise do the transplants. Houston is not that cheap anymore. None of the 4 major Texas cities anymore.

Ross - loss Prevention 6:30 to 12am. 4 to 5 days out the week.
Kids R Kids - Teacher Mon to Fri 9am to 5:30pm
I’m graduating April 28 and I’m really excited I’m learning how to drive and get my dream car and house and get two girl cats and I’m getting engaged after my boyfriend graduated from his program ☺️❤️🫶🏻
