- Actually, I just wanted to record an Instagram video but then I thought I upload the full 10 minutes...
Drums came from #Ableton, the #kick, and a few #percussion elements from an #MFB #Tanzbär. The #bassline is a prerecorded #Moog #DFAM

The Sub37 nearly always sounds pretty gritty, to me. Is that what ‘the modern sound’ is - gritty / suitable for this type of distorted techno?

Ive a DFAM and love it.. do you think the Sub37 compliments it well or similar in tone?
They are not really similar to each other. The DFAM is completely different, but when you buy it, you will get a Moog. I use my DFAM for Techno rolling basslines and stuff like that and my sub 37 for more melodic bass/lead sounds
@@moeferris Thanks man.. yeah im the same, I use the DFAM for crazy lines and percussion sequences. Do you just use the internal tuning per step or use a quantizer? I've the Moog Mother-32 so wonder if the Sub37 is overkill.
@@analog_ I use the Arturia Keystep or my MFB Tanzbär for chromatic or harmonic basslines, cause they both have CV outs. I would like to have one or at least two mothers. I don't need them cause of the sub37 but the combo of DFAM and one/two Mother looks so damn great and is still a different thing than the sub
