Thanks a lot for your kind words! Much appreciated! This was my first serious jam (after one week of playing around). Nowadays the DFAM is often buried with so many other sound sources - I think I should try this minimal approach more often again!
@@BlackSnowOnChristmas yes you should - or at least make it a centre-piece of grove awesomeness with other melodic gear helipng out to widen the sounds...
You prolly dont give a shit but if you're stoned like me atm then you can watch all of the new movies and series on Instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother for the last couple of months =)
Very inspiring jam! As a fellow DFAM owner and fanatic I really appreciate the versatility, innovativity and the general grooviness of your approach. Great job!
Thanks a lot, Tomi! Much appreciated! Glad you like it - I made this jam when I owned it for a week or so, so it was really the first time I really got into it.
Nice to see someone churning out some actual melody from this thing; most of the DFAM videos on here are just caucophanoius exercises in the art of annoying your neighbors. Bravo! 🤘
Hey! Thanks a lot! No, I didn't try the Edge - I have mixed feelings about this. I love Behringer's recreations when the original is out of reach, but the DFAM is still available and it's almost affordable.
Edging towards this little beauty. For a while I’ve been looking at purchasing the Roland tr8s but this moog is a real hands on machine. Looks like a lotta fun. Who needs presets right?
Yeah, it's great. And actually it's not that complex - it doesn't take much time to figure out how to get which sounds. You don't need notes etc. So I absolutely recommend it, if you dig the sounds!
The world really doesn't need any more music with TR808 hats, snares and (especially) claps all over it. Get the DFAM and every piece of music you make will be absolutely unique. You can always download an 808 plugin for Ableton if you want to sound like everybody else.
@@Error6503 Absolutely yes! But at the same time this is true for most analog drum machines - you can always get much more than the usual library sounds!
@@BlackSnowOnChristmas it's my favourite I think that at a push in a dia emergency I could probably sell my gear all except for the DFAM I really couldn't part with that
Best dfam jam I've seen, really shows alot of the potential without much patching. Definitely my next module.

@@WinfriedSitte Which I try most of the time (see my other jams) - but still: to focus on one machine always makes a difference!
This is a really impressive jam showing off how much the DFAM can do... love it!
Dankeschön!

@Royal Hamza yea, I have been using Instaflixxer for since november myself :D
Excellent- and thanks for the detailed explanation - can’t wait to try this out - Thanks very much!
Thank you! Much appreciated! ❤️ And thanks for reading the caption!

@@BlackSnowOnChristmas Steep learning curve? I have one on the way that I want to pair with my Grandmother.
@@necronorris Easy to get started, but it's difficult to find new ideas once you have your routine with the machine.
Woooow, now i want one! 🩵👽🩵
If you can afford it easily, definitely do it! I didn't regret it at all! Still one of my favorite toy!
BEAST man jsut a beast! and what you have on Spotify is just incredible and very very nice music you guys should hear it!
Thank you very much! Much appreciated! ❤️
Really, really great. For the first time I could see what this thing can do!
Thanks a lot! Glad you like it! And it's just the tip of the iceberg - it's such a great instrument!

Thanks a lot! Although annoying neighbors might be of value too.
This is SICK
You sold me on the DFAM. Nicely done!
Thanks! Glad you like it! ❤🙏🏻❤
N I C E ! have you tried a behringer Edge? just considering which to go for!!

Definitely one of the best DFAM sessions seen in a long time. Amazing job!
Thanks a lot, Nicole! Much appreciated!
So good!

Awesome!
Great Jam
Thanks! Glad you like it! ❤️🙏🏻❤️
This was inspiring.
Thank you! Much appreciated! ❤
Sweet!
Thanks a lot! That was my goal!
There's moments where this is very reminiscent of Amon Tobin's Rhino Jockey...
I had to check that one - wasn't on my radar... Great! Thanks!

Fookin hell! that is amazing ! I need to get my head together and start jamming on mine again

hard to believe its all done with one synth. thanks for sharing detailed flow.
and its sound very cool! beastie boys - intergalactic 1:55 :)
Yes! Thanks! 🙏🏻🤟🏼🙏🏻

Sabroso!
Niiiiiceeeee!
Thanks! Glad you like it! ❤🙏🏻❤
Very nice! I'm more and more tempted by the DFAM. Any post processing happening here, or are these raw sounds straight from the DFAM? Nice and punchy.
Thanks! There is a bit compression going on here in the post processing, and a tiny bit of reverb.
The video doesnt actually match the audio does it? I copied this patch as close as I could and I'm not getting that.
I recorded the output directly. It’s some years ago, but as far as I remember there was no substantial post production. So it should be close.
Sounds like it gets dirty from volume spikes or what?
Analog power!!!
🙏🏻🤟🏼🙏🏻
Niiiice !!
Thanks a lot!
this is some serious shit!
Thank you! Much appreciated! ❤️
😀
Thanks! ❤️❤️❤️
I may be about to make a financial mistake :))
Well, it's a lot of money... But to be honest: I would definitely buy it again. Most creative drum synth I own.
