"I Loggi di Ferruzzano"

In 2009, on a trip to Ferruzzano, Calabria, my mother's hometown I attempted to film the building of a loggia on the beach.
Unfortunately, although I tried everyday I asked "Are you going to work on the loggia today" Almost everyday the answer was "Not today, tomorrow!"
Unfortunately my stay was over before I could complete my footage. It was a very special pleasure to speak with 2 locals (and friends) about what it was like to live at the time when the custom of living in the loggia's for the month of August was still going.
