"Identical words against different time frames" reads to me as a phrase that hasn't literally changed, but its meaning did for whatever reason. Originally, what it meant was certain, believed, and true. Now? It's adopted a new meaning, something else entirely, and sometimes it's hard to tell which it is in the moment. It ultimately comes down to the situation at hand. "I love you" - Strong Relationship: A promise, vulnerability, commitment "I love you" - Split Relationship: A farewell, exhaustion, release "Trust me" - Stranger: A question, hope, naivety "Trust me" - Familiar: A reminder, determination, will Usually conveyed by a different tone, the idea behind the same phrase is altered by a simple context shift ^^ (I could be reading into this in a way that wasn't intended but eh, such is life ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌)

I also think the identical words different timeframe is along the lines of "why are we here" or "is there a God". Imo, a number of SaL songs seems to reference the beauty of life/our world. There are a ton of Biblical references, yes. "Your flesh and blood" -> holy communion "sculpture of water and unsettled dust" -> creation story where man was made from dust "bad blood in us" -> possibly "original sin"? "wrestle... with concept of grace" -> the Gospel/New Testament, Paul's references to struggling between condemnation and grace, sin and forgiveness "different timeframes" -> could be a reference to the same questions being asked by characters from Genesis to Revelation "whole is greater than sum of its parts" -> the idea of the "ecclesiastic body" being made up of the "parts" of its members "study our story arcs" -> sounds to me like religious studies trying to explain our purpose and meaning of course i could be WAY making up stuff and reading into it, but these were the associations that jumped out at me. source: i grew up in an almost-cult, was atheist for a bit, still Christian now though.
