So I was lost in words since words don't litteraly correlate. I'm finally happy to find my most favourite song as a kid growing up. Thank likewise, Shakira for letting this song being spread all around the world. For people who are blaming Shakira for not acquiescing the fact that the song "Waka Waka" was sampled , I just read an article on Wikipedia and it's clearly highlighted that the original sound behind her song was from a Cameroonian traditional song. I don't know the language sang in the song but I had a quick wink on the translation of this masterpiece and I really feel it. Such a gem!
The lyrics of this song has touched my heart. No other song is like this one. It has drastically changed the direction of my life and made me believe I can actually go somewhere in life.

Fun fact, some if not many afro descendants from Barbardos come from Cameroon through doors of non return in Bimbia, Nichols island, Rio del Rey in Cameroon. This can explain the influence of rythms just like several latin rythm and dances of Latin America were influenced by Kongo rythms.

Oh my Country ❤️🇨🇲😓, My Continent🌍❤️...
Our legendary Africans and their art 👏❤ Shakira could have never outdone the original composers work because she had copied the song. Originality and authenticity always speaks for itself 👌

I’m from Barbados and there are elements of the song that are so similar to our calypso and soca (for obvious reasons). Nice to see this song that the respect it deserves
🇦🇺 ❤ 🇧🇧
Fun fact, some if not many afro descendants from Barbardos come from Cameroon through doors of non return in Bimbia, Nichols island, Rio del Rey in Cameroon. This can explain the influence of rythms just like several latin rythm and dances of Latin America were influenced by Kongo rythms.
Always original 🔥🔥🔥🔥

It's also an excellent version, but Shakira's version is infinitely better.
Shakira singing doesn’t fit for me. No offense to her
Yeah
Shakira's one is like the remix of this one
Listening from Kurdistan, beautiful song Cameroonian brothers 🤝❤️
This song reminds me of when I visited my dads country Sierra Leone back in 1989. This song was doing bits at the time 🙌🏿✊🏿
If this ain't playing at my funeral, I'm not dying
I'm Japanese. I was impressed when I heard it. I want to touch Africa. I'm going to save money and go to Africa! Where did you start? 🇯🇵2024/06/04
This is a cool plan, I hope you do it. Hello from Russia
Cool , you will be welcome. I'm from Burkina Faso 🇧🇫
I'm a Cameroonian and they usually play this on national TV when i was a kid.
What TVs? Nah jk (but y'all had TVs?)
Yes we did. And the song was played on CRTV ( Cameroon Radio Television)
I'm amazed but happy 😁

You’re amazed that there’s TVs……? Why? Your perception of how Africa is is insanely off base, I get you might’ve been joking but everything you said was just disrespectful
I'm happy to know the origin of this song. Shakira should be charged for theft of copyright

@@Zeus-7778 if you are talking about evolution, stop that sh!tty logic, evolving from africans does not mean being an african. Like saying "im my grandfather". My Lord, im getting angry when i see comments like this.
