Thank you for the update on your health and activities. European on the border of the big R are the only ones that can really understand what it means to have THEM as neighbours. My romanian grand-father spent 5 years in a goulag as a prisoner of war and my grand-ma's mother died alone somewhere in actual Ukraine after the iron wall felt on the poor polulations that lived under USSR influence... I guess I grew up prejudiced. Thank you for doing so much.

When we make large projects all the time, we need something quick to get some instant gratification. Your hat came out really nice.

An old trick to getting your car unstuck is to use the car mats (or cardboard since you’re home). Jam them under the tire as far as it will go. You can also use cat litter or sand to get some grip.
The oatmeal & grey look fabulous together. It’s a beautiful calm contrast. Perfect! ❤️

I'm hoping to knit a sweater like the one you are working on. That is a lovely pattern. Again, thank you for all you do. You bring such joy to many of us.

Thank you for your episod. Not a single snow flake here this year but yesterday we had the Eunice storm. It's quite windy now, just the perfect weather for knitting and watching podcasts. I love your sweater version of the Maja. I usually replace white by light grey in my colourwork especially when the main colour is blue. Otherwise, the blue looks greenish and the white yellowish

Hi from Denmark. My Mother was born in Finland 1932 and died in 1990 here in Denmark and thats why I not can ask her. I have wondering about, What is the national knit in Finland, like Norway have their colorwork. Is there Any national way of knitting in Finland and is there Any colorwork knitting in special Finish way? I have tryed to ask the Finish part of the family about Finish yarn and Finish patterns, but nobody in my family knows anything. Could you tell a little about Finish knitting kulture. If you run low on yarn for your daughters dress, why not use a contrasting color for the ruffle or stripe it with the main color. Love your podcast!

I immediately recognised that Karisma yarn before you even said so, as I've just finished Sari Nordlund's Rococo sweater in it! It's such a pretty blush pink that isn't too sweet :)
And I just got some more Soft Tweed in the nearly black colour for a simple V-neck cardigan, after I so enjoyed the lemon pie colour and my sunny sweater!
What kind of juice do you heat for kids? Here in Switzerland they usually get some kind of fruit tea on cold days...

Most of all I love the Maja sweater. I love the low contrast color work. I just purchased the colorway Fossil in a rustic worsted from Jule of Woolen Twine. I couldn't decide on the contrast color until I saw your sweater and now I know I will buy a low contrast yarn from her. Your sweater is absolutely gorgeous. I love the clip of you at the end in your Love Note sweater and linen dress. Very cute.
