@@apolakigamingandmore6376 i think the ship models are done properly, but the original game code itself has only US and JPN. So I assume they're all just added to the Japanese tech tree but locked until this mission.

If Germany had not invaded the Soviet Union, could they have done this operation? I know the kriegsmarine was lacking landing craft for their troops, but did they have the resources to build actual landing craft for amphibious operations? And if they landed on the shores, how far inland would they have gotten, would London have fallen or would the British push them back and this would be a costly operation?
no. As long as Germany was building up the Kriegsmarine, the British were building up their own navy, which was already superior. the British also had air supremacy, and I think it's safe to say, that if England fell, the US would have intervened, and there's no way the Germans could not only have defended the entire Western European coastline, as well as the British coastline. there are of course hundreds of other reasons as to why it could not have worked as well.
The difference in size between the Home Fleet and the Kriegsmarine was absolutely enormous. The Germans would have likely fared better had they not even bothered building capital ships and instead used those resources to fight their land battles.

No one knows, people in hindsight like to play numbers games but real life is a lot more complex than "le royal navy had 2000 ships and the kriegsmarine only had 50". If this was the case then why did Britain extensively prepare for an invasion throughout the war ?
The idea also, at least in mid 1940 was that Germany merely had to land a few divisions and it would be all over. The British army had very little armaments in Britain.
Of course the main difficulty was landing the troops and supplying them which is where the debate mostly comes in, weather the luftwaffe could supply by air and the kriegsmarine hold or at least harass the home fleet we'll never know as it was never tried. Though a couple of German generals such as Kesselring wanted an airborne invasion even before France had surrendered.
Some people like to point to war games held in the 50s or 60s as proof it was impossible but one only has to look at wargames held regarding the Battle of Midway which showed the Japanese winning every time, as we all know they didn't and spectacularly didn't.
No it still wont happen, even if the german doesn't invade Soviet, the soviet will be the one do the deed. They are basically incompatible in ideology

it doesn't do anything against ships but i'm sure it does damage against buildings

AFGuidesHD, how did you run the game so smooth. My computer stuck at 12-25fps + 95-100% gpu usage at wolf logo, playing with new modelled ship like Yamato 1945, Bismark, the new cargo ship, big island like Pearl Harbour. Can you show me the setting of the games, where should i install it (i tried on different drives of my computer) and your PC specs.
My PC specs are: i5 10400f, rtx3070, 16gn RAM
try medium, turn off some of the graphic settings
i also have an rtx 3090
@@AFGuidesHD I turn everything to disabled/lowest to get a decent 55-60fps (90-100% gpu usage), but at this point, its look a bit too blockist and pixelated though :v . The wolf logo at the loading screen is still very laggy. I have reported to the moddb pages, hope to get a solution. :- Thanks for your answer

@@ramal5708 slow the planes down to half speed manually I think, Haven't tried it myself though that is a known issue

And the landscape is wrong for Britain, my country. There are no mountains near British coast only in Scotland. Wales and the Lake District. It would be nice if I see the white cliff of Dover.
This could have become a reality , if Germany wouldn't have invaded Soviet union and if us wouldn't have declared war on japan, royal Navy was largest but it was simultaneously fighting Italian Navy Mediterranean , HMS Hermes was sunk by kido butai and Japanese Navy would attack royal Navy . Hence when royal Navy was decimated Britain would have to surrender.
A) No, Sea Lion was a pipedream at best. Operation Overlord had a very real chance of failure with two superpowers, experienced in naval landings and heavy logistics, two years of planning, and complete controle of air and sea. Meanwhile Operation Sealion was from a mostly landbased nation, planned in a few weeks, with no experience in naval landings, and logistics that where failing at far easier tasks, also no ability to controle either land or skies. The German Navy, when they heard of the Sea Lion plans began to seriously question the sanity of everyone around them, because they knew there was no way of challanging the Royal Navy for controle of the sea.
b) Japan declared on the US.
C) even with a decimated Royal Navy they could simply pull ships back to defend the home islands, no need for surrender.
@@aquila4460 I was talking about Germans using Japanese ships and landing crafts for sea lion after one year of planning . Uboats will stop merchant shipping and starve Britain . Us being neutral ( no pearl Harbor attack would take place).

The Japanese needed to attack the US, because the US was activly hitting them with sanctions and the Philipines where splitting the Japanese Empire into two parts, and threatened acess to the resource rich islands of indonesia.

The Nazis want to do Operation Sealion after the battle of Britain but instead all of their forces were redirected so they can invade Russia, which was a very big mistake
