Those things are not really a big deal anymore. I see my canadian police officers looking like gangsters. Neck tats, sleeve tats. All type of tats. I would never run to them for help because i wouldn't know if they are officers or not. So the lil earring is not a deal breaker for me. I ask them over here and they say different times
