the woman playing Mama is Vicky Lawarence. who is great at not breaking character as mama, and Carol Burnett is Unis, and the guy is Harvy Corman who could always not keep a straight face with Tim Conway around.
My darling father didn’t have too many laughs in life, with working far from home for years to put food on the table, but I remember in his later years I watched Carol Burnet with him and the tears were rolling down his cheeks from laughing! Such a precious memory.
Not having reruns for our children, as I had growing up, is such a tragedy. I loved this show! Now I have to search and search so my kids can experience what I did, and maybe understand the previous generations.
There was another take of this when Mama was improving and said "What's the matter with you Eunice! Is it that time of month? Are you riding the cotton pony!" And you can see Carol struggling to contain herself.
The Mama's Family episodes were always very funny. There were 130 of these made from 83-90. Many great guest stars appeared on them. Lots of funny ones for you to react to.
@@patticrichton1135 I do too. When there was great TV shows t watch. Now I don't even have a TV and I don't care cause nothing good is on it anyway. UA-cam is my entertainment now. Especially Voiceplay, Geoff Castellucci and Pattycake Productions.
I love when she is Eunice. It's my favorite. They made a show called Mama's Family from this. Carol Burnett guest started several times as Eunice. Such a funny show.
Vicki Lawrence was only in her late 20's/early 30's when she began playing "Mama" on "The Carol Burnett Show". Also, Eunice's sister "Ellen" was Betty White, and Mama's sister "Fran" was Rue McClanahan!
I grew up with this!❤❤❤ We loved The Family! Carol Burnett was shocked at folks reaction because they got so much fan mail with folks loving it and wanting to see them more because it was a one time skit but because of the love ❤❤❤, it turned into something huge!!!! Please do more 💯❤️❤️❤️
So cool to see this! Ed, Eunice and Momma were great on the CBshow. Suggestion when Eunices sister comes, and the another was when the three of them go to their sons parent teacher conference!
I'm so glad you reacted to to this...I can remember looking forward to The Carol Burnett Show, because I knew I was going to be laughing watching it🤣 Thank you so much👍
Mama is quintessential passive-aggressive. Reminds me of my own mother. Every time came into a room she was in, she would sigh heavily. One day I decided to call her out. "Why are you always sighing, Mom?" I asked her. "Is there something wrong with you?" She replied, "If you don't know, I'm not going to tell you."
I love The Carol Burnett Show. I miss the old comedy shows. Try reacting to "I Love Lucy " The one where Lucy and Ethel get a job in a chocolate factory is hilarious 😂
SORRY is a real game and I used to play it back in the day. It really is a vicious game. 🤣 It did get people mad at one another. FOR EXAMPLE: A player would be close to getting one of their men home and another player would land on your man and say, "sorry" and your man would be sent back to start. There was another game called, TROUBLE, that was the same concept. They were both great games but frustrating.
I watched this with my Mom and Brother way back when it was first on TV. I remember my Mom almost losing it when someone would yell "Sorrrrr-y!!" It reminded her of home. LMAO
I liked your reaction. Watch the elephant skit with Tim Conway, Mama, Carol Burnett, and Dick Van Dyke- either Mama's Family or The Carol Burnett Show. Mama may be breaking character, I don't remember, but most of them are breaking character.
I lived this show. Eunice and Mama rarely ever got along. Mama always favored Ellen over Eunice and their brother. Funny thing is Carol Burnett is almost double Vicki Lawrence age. Vicki had won a look alike contest so Carol hired her out of high school to be her little sister. However after doing a couple skits with these characters Vicki became Mama alot more. Years later after the show ended the network started the sitcom Mama's Family. Which became a huge hit and saw many years on TV. In it Mama has her own house. Her son and his 2 kids live with her. Mama's best friend and neighbor, Iola is a great character as well. And you're right. Vicki very rarely if ever breaks character. You've got many years to catch up on that are each as funny as the last 🤣
There's two episodes where you can sort of see Mama snickering just a little bit and trying to hide it. It's in the episodes where Eunice and Mama go to visit Ed at the hardware store and the one where they all go visit Mickey Hart at his apartment.
Isn’t Carol hilarious?? They all are but Carol 😂😂 If you’ve ever seen Gone with the Wind, they have a spoof skit that’s hilarious! And when she plays that secretary, lol. I forget the name lol
The irony of Eunice and Mama is that Carol Burnett is 16 years older than Vicki Lawrence. Something else you may want to check out by Vicki is her #1 hit song in 1973. She still brings it in 1995. Vicki Lawrence - The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia(1995)(Music City Tonight 720p)
CAN YALL PLEASE WATCH MY LATEST VIDEO AND GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK ON IT I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT ua-cam.com/video/ztBGLBGaPh8/v-deo.html
You should react to monopoly and charafes she takes board games seriously like my aunt
the woman playing Mama is Vicky Lawarence. who is great at not breaking character as mama, and Carol Burnett is Unis, and the guy is Harvy Corman who could always not keep a straight face with Tim Conway around.
Mama, was going off the cuff.. The laughter they had gave joy... The good ole day's...
"Eunice, you've got splinters in the windmill of your mind!" lmao!!
My darling father didn’t have too many laughs in life, with working far from home for years to put food on the table, but I remember in his later years I watched Carol Burnet with him and the tears were rolling down his cheeks from laughing! Such a precious memory.
Vicki Lawrence (Momma) was brilliant. She was actually quite a bit younger than Carol Burnette, but she played her Momma. Great acting by Vicki.
Gods, I remember playing Sorry as a kid with my friends.
Mama was improvising in that moment. Such a dysfunctional family!! Brilliant acting!
The Carol Burnette show was insanely funny like this every week.
Not having reruns for our children, as I had growing up, is such a tragedy. I loved this show! Now I have to search and search so my kids can experience what I did, and maybe understand the previous generations.

This was the show you never wanted to miss. The entertainment was amazing for its time. Our family loved it..
One of my faves!
Carol broke character because Vicki added a few, unexpected, crazy insults to the script!😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
The Mama's Family episodes were always very funny. There were 130 of these made from 83-90. Many great guest stars appeared on them. Lots of funny ones for you to react to.
Those are so good
Adogg, you have seen what mama, aka Vicky Lawrence, actually looked like in this time period haven't you?
I watched till the end. I used to love this show as a kid - so glad you enjoyed too. God bless you
I grew up watching this with my grandparents. I miss them so freakin much. It makes me so happy to rediscover these gems with you.
Watching you enjoy this feels like watching it with my family when I was a kid
As someone of the Boomer generation, it's such a joy watching you react to this legendary show.
Exactly. I was born in 1959 so remember watching this all the time. So freaking funny 🤣
Ditto! 1958. 😊

Cool 😎
I feel the SAME way!!! I MISS the Carol Burnett Show SO much!!

One of the best shows ever. I loved watching it.
I miss Carol Burnett
I love this show, I remember watching it with my mom and dad when I was 12.❤😊 I love Harvey Korman.
I used to LOVE playing "SORRY!" but I don't remember a bell being in the game. We just said "SORRY!"
Here's one you might want to see from the same Era as Carol burnett. Dean Martin and foster brooks the airline pilot. hella funny
It was revealed later that Momma broke with the script and added those other expletives, and that's why Eunice was laughing. :)
I remember!😂🤣😂🤣😂
Check out Mrs. Wiggins: At Lunch from The Carol Burnett Show
Vicki Lawrence was only in her late 20's/early 30's when she began playing "Mama" on "The Carol Burnett Show". Also, Eunice's sister "Ellen" was Betty White, and Mama's sister "Fran" was Rue McClanahan!
I'm 64 and and still enjoy watching The Family all the time and love introducing this to my friends in their 40s and some younger and they love it 💖💖💖
One of my favorite skits being from a family of board game players. Thanks for a great reaction.
These skits are so hilarious! 😅🤣😅🤣
Oh you HAVE to watch all the family skits on here! The Betty White ones are amazing but all of them are bottled brilliance ;)
Absolutely!!! 💯❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Man...I sure do miss these shows...😢🤣
That family always knew how to put the “diss” in dysfunction. 😂
This is why Mama's Family became a sitcom.
I still watch Mamas family day after day 💯❤️❤️❤️❤️😂😂😂😂
I LOVE these skits. Eunice can never have a good time no matter how hard she tries.

I love the way Mama always ad lib her lines to get them out of character.
*"Someone blew your pilot light out!" You should react to the Carol Burnett Show GONE WITH THE WIND parody!*
Do more reactions of the Carol Burnette Show as Eunice. They are funny. I was laughing along with you. Thank you.
The Carol Burnett Show/The Interrogator featuring Tim Conway, Lyle Wagoner and Harvey Corman
So funny Eunice and Mama are my favorites 💞
I'm so glad you reacted to to this...I can remember looking forward to The Carol Burnett Show, because I knew I was going to be laughing watching it🤣 Thank you so much👍
Eunice is actually older than Mama
Yes, Carol Burnett is 18 years older than Vicki Lawrence who played Mama
Watch the Burnett clip with the family at Mickey's apartment. You'll see Vicki/Momma break briefly a couple of times.
Oboy, yes that's one of their very best! Please, Da Real Adogg, try "I Love Lucy" later on.
SORRY is a real game and I used to play it back in the day. It really is a vicious game. 🤣 It did get people mad at one another.

Yep. Played them both. And Parcheesi too. Same.
I never played but I believe there was no bell ...
@@ericrivera8410
No there wasn't. The bell might have been a house rule when Carol was growing up. Either that or just added for comedy in the skit.
I watched this with my Mom and Brother way back when it was first on TV. I remember my Mom almost losing it when someone would yell "Sorrrrr-y!!" It reminded her of home. LMAO
Carol pointed out, there were never any jokes in the Family skits. The dialogue didn't have any actual jokes, it was all in the delivery of the lines.
My mother called me "Eunice" for years.
Mamma is actually many years younger than the rest of the cast.
Carol Burnett is hilarious.
Now this is real comedy. I love Carol as Eunice and Vicky as Mama. Those nylon socks!
I relate to Eunice- her family always ganging up on her.
Mama was throwing stuff at her that wasn't in the script. Tim Conway was great at too. How could you not laugh.
Peep the Tim Conway Show now playing on ROKU...he was the short man on Carol's show
Loved this show! You need to do a reaction to Carol Burnett show Went With the Wind.
Mama actually did break character once during Tim Conway elephant story
I love Mamas Family ! lmao
Theres an episode where Eunice goes on the Gong Show its Epic
I liked your reaction. Watch the elephant skit with Tim Conway, Mama, Carol Burnett, and Dick Van Dyke- either Mama's Family or The Carol Burnett Show. Mama may be breaking character, I don't remember, but most of them are breaking character.

They put the fun in dysfunction.
IT WAS A SEVEN!!! LMAO
I love this show! Carol Burnett was hilarious without being dirty.
Welcome back kotter was a good show and some mothers do have em
There's two episodes where you can sort of see Mama snickering just a little bit and trying to hide it. It's in the episodes where Eunice and Mama go to visit Ed at the hardware store and the one where they all go visit Mickey Hart at his apartment.
Moma breaks character when tim Conway's as micky , efs employee is in the skit
That show was so funny. They had a hard time nit to laugh at eachother.
Lmao!! Loved this episode!!
you have to watch the outakes of mr tudball needs a secretary,on the carol brunette show-they go off script and curse-hilarious
I love "The Family" .. lmao
“IT WAS A SEVEN!!!” 😂
You'd enjoy reacting to Monopoly or charades....they play hard
I love Mama's Family. You should react to Mama's Family "Charades" it's hilarious 😅
