    *********
This piece explores the interplay between sunlight and waves, ranging from moments of majestic coexistence to fits of tumult and rage. The opening is idyllic, perhaps even fragile, describing rays of light striking the sea.
However, this soon gives way to confusion as we realize that we are not actually actors inside this scene, but merely observers through a ‘looking glass’ (such as a mirror or magnifying glass). Our sense of reality is distorted through the reflection and refraction of sunlight. The tranquillity is punctuated by dissonance and uneasiness, offset by odd moments of solitude. Perhaps we are even living in a simulation? Overall, this piece is a metaphor for a changed world and things being not what they seem.
