I personally like the little vlogs with a few cuts thrown in here & there during the vlog. Great work man! I can’t wait to just visit you shop one day.
I’m one year into my commission barbershop I work at. I’ve been cutting hair since I was 15 and I’m 24 now. This place helped me get my license through an apprenticeship so I wanna be respectful , but I know there’s more money to be made in a chair rent. I guess all I’m asking is when do I know it’s the right time to leave ?
I would discuss with them that you think booth rental at this point could be more beneficial. If you like the place maybe there’s a way you could switch? If not let them know you may look elsewhere
Opening a barbershop series will be dope!! Looking foward forsure. Im 20year old barber the goal is in 2 years when i’m license i will have my own shop. So learning headstart will be dope
Waiting for the content and your always a pleasant surprise for your future plans I will have to agree on that booth rent 😅 and your plans for next content sounds great thanks for your time and blessings
I like a bit of mixed content tutorials/vlogs etc but I’ve been watching barber vlogs recently! Are yours are pretty cool. and a video on opening a shop sounds cool.
Love the content…. Would love the vlogs to be a little longer. I wish u were in my city or close to…. I would definitely be honored to work a great shop and atmosphere like Klutch. There was never any unity in any shop I’ve worked in. Keep up the great work and content. Very inspirational.
Appreciate it! Yeah vlogs are a different beast. So much footage and have to figure out what’s worth leaving in and taking out. Need to do more of them though for sure
I’m in barber school in ky! Have seen your videos before did NOT know you were in ky. Would love the barber serious and/or to speak with you sometime I see you’re a busy guy. Keep doing great!
Man I like all the hardwork you’ve done and everything has definitely paid off and a lot of it is priceless but no lie I’m gonna have to get they barber co. On my shop signage 😅
I used to give a free week whenever they wanted to take it. Now they have basically unlimited time off and work whenever they want, so booth rent is always due. I do usually give a free week for a baby or a honeymoon
Since they rent, do your barbers all set their own prices and hours? If so, can you do a video on how that works? I'm currently using percentage at my shop, but I'm thinking of switching. Also, how do you determine your rent prices?
Watch my why I do booth rent it will answer a lot of that for you. And just guys work our hours with in reason but also are on appointments so they can come and go if they need
got some kemi from amazon there 30$ and wireless and have a battery screen also the battery are very long lasting. i use them for detail / bottom line work and magic clip as main
@@isaiahhernandez3056 thanks bro, but do you recommend corded or cordless because the cordless only have 70 min run time, so I feel like corded will be better since I am a beginner
@@_gustav0_957 id go with the cordless because when i first started i was cutting anytime anywhere and carried my clippers everywhere so cordless was way easier, you don’t really get that option with corded, and if battery is really and issue then i’d plug them in any chance there’s a wall plug around and save the battery when you need to plug something else in or there’s no wall plug around to use, with a corded you’d need a source of power 24/7
you’ll save yourself money in the long run by just buying one cordless clipper instead of a plug in clipper and a cordless one later down the line also if you go cordless now you’ll thank yourself in the future when you have multiple other things that you need to plug in and not enough wall plugs
I would like to ask you regarding the clippers you unbox, do you receive them for free or how does that work, in general I mean do you have to kind of advertise the certain company and then they send you their stuff or how, I jus't can't undertand this thing, buy the way I am enjoying your vlogs and I am learning so much from you, ✌🏻
Some I buy some I get sent. Those companies send different stuff to all of us UA-cam barbers. Sometimes other guys get stuff and I don’t. Sometimes I’ll get something and they won’t. They just want knowledge out there about their tools so it’s worth sending us something to review so people can be educated before purchasing.
@@Seancutshair thank you so very much for taking your time and replying back to my questions as this means a lot for me as a beginner to these platforms. I am about to start my own barber shop and all these information are grateful to me and I would like to appreciate your sincere answers, may God bless you, love all of your work and keep this vibe ✌🏻
Barbers with skills and experience will always look for booth rent, commission route is more for beginners in this industry. Keep up the videos brother!
Another reason why i watch your videos. What you said about your views on booth rent, really goes to show the kind of person you are… so many employers (mine currently) are just money greedy, it doesnt matter how hard you try, how many haircuts you do, how much retail you sell, at the end of the day you cannot possibly make that person enough money. Its always meeting after meeting on how you can make them more money, how youre not doing enough. 😂😂 anyways, you hiring?
Idol Sean if you have old gadget tools for barbershop... Gave me some gadget if you not need.. I like my own barbershop.. But no badget.. I hope you read idol thank you so much..
The vlogs is where it’s at. You’re definitely inspiring up and coming barbers like myself. Excited for the opening a barber shop series!

How do you handle when they go on vacation? Like you forgive that week or 2 when they take a vacation?
I used to give a free week whenever they wanted to take it. Now they have basically unlimited time off and work whenever they want, so booth rent is always due. I do usually give a free week for a baby or a honeymoon
May I ask how much you charge for booth rental, and do you do a first and last up front? Thank you
Booth rent is $200 weekly. No first and last just start paying when they start
